Poor quality

The quality was not as good as advertised on the laminate we purchased. It started peeling after about a month and a half of being laid. We've since had to rip the whole lot up and will have to re order from somewhere else. I wouldnt use this company again.
Had some damage when it arrived which they refunded for, some bits were scratched. Very disappointed

All of our laminate flooring is supplied directly from our manufacturers and dispatched through our central warehouse. We are saddened to hear of the issues experienced in relation to the laminate peeling, as this would not generally be expected under normal household use.

Quickstep vinyl flooring

Excellent price and quick delivery. First time I have used the vinyl flooring but have used a lot of Quickstep laminate flooring and it is top quality so naturally went for the known brand for hassle free installing.
Will happily use Online Carpets again when the need arises.

Hidden damage when delivered

My vinyl flooring was delivered with no visable signs of damage but when the fitters unrolled it there was damage all down one side. Online carpets didn’t believe me. Always check your delivery as soon as it arrives so you can request a replacement immediately. I would not recommend this company to anyone order number ONL1160365

All products are prepared within our busy warehouse environment and, although rigorous checks are in place, there are rare occasions where an item may not leave fully as expected. For this reason, we ask customers to carefully inspect flooring before any alterations or installation, as this allows us to offer collections, replacements, or refunds where appropriate.

From our communications, we can see that options were provided prior to installation. Once flooring is fitted, this is considered acceptance of the product in the condition received.

It is never the case that we do not believe our customers; however, in some situations it can be difficult to determine the exact cause of an issue. In these instances, we remain committed to reaching a fair resolution based on the information available.

We can see that a partial refund was offered and accepted in this case, although we are sorry to learn you remain dissatisfied with the outcome. A member of our Customer Care Team will be reaching out shortly to see whether there are any further areas we may still be able to assist with.

2nd time I used them

2nd time I used them. First time was for bedroom carpet and underlay. 2nd time was for lounge, again carpet and underlay. Always delivered on time. Prices are great. The Cormar Apollo plus is a great carpet, so good we’ve put it in both our rooms. Easy clean and doesn’t show tread wear like other carpets.

I have used online carpets since covid…

I have used online carpets since covid lockdown, when I redecorated my house. I have had carpets and linoleum , all great quality,and delivered with care and on time. I requested samples beforehand to asses the quality,and all was good. A great cimpany with affordable quality products.

Total joke from start paid for fast…

Total joke from start paid for fast delivery got email saying out for delivery never happened contacted courier dx got a horrible person who said its not gone out it might go tomorrow contacted online carpets who are refusing to refund money even though they have not delivered andthey also have contacted dx couriers who confirmed they hav not delivered now got to wait till it goes back then another 7to 10 days to go back to card total joke reported to trading standards

In relation to your refund, we are currently awaiting confirmation from the courier that the order is being returned to us, which we expect to receive shortly. As soon as this has been confirmed, we will process your refund immediately. Before doing so, we do need to ensure that the courier will not make a delivery attempt.
