Fantastic service
The quality of the opals is brilliant, and the customer service could not be better. Peter was extremely quick in responding to my questions, and was both helpful and informative. A genuinely nice guy who gives the impression he cares more about giving you what you want than making money. Rare, and lovely!

So amazingly helpful!
Peter at Opalmine was so helpful and responsive, helping me to restore an antique opal. He sent me the materials needed and links to a video (If you are interested in opals, do watch the videos on the site, they are fascinating and very informative, showing everything from where they are found to how they are cut and polished).
Opalmine is a wonderful, unique company that really cares. They not only sell high quality opals but also want to share their love of all things opal and are happy to go that extra mile to help you. There are not enough companies like this in the world and I am grateful to have found them.

Went Above and Beyond!
I needed help acquiring information about a piece of boulder opal that I recently inherited. After contacting Opalmine, I received a very quick response from Peter regarding the piece, and that was just the beginning! Not only was I thoroughly informed about the opal specimen, but then he also took the time to type up a very nice and detailed draft of an online listing that I could possibly use to help me sell my piece. We exchanged numerous emails, and the amount of time that Peter took out of his days to help me completely free of charge is just something you don't see too often anymore in customer service. He has so much information to share about opal, and on top of that is very prompt and friendly. I highly recommend Opalmine, and honestly would give more stars if I could!

Got my product in time. Ordered a ring and it had to be sized. It was free of charge and the shipping was free as well. All in all a really good experience. Would highly recommend!
Update 2017:
The ring I bought is still as beautiful as ever and my girlfriend is still very happy about it. Definately good quality work!
