Superb interview experience

Most unprofessional recruitment company I’ve come across - stay clear
My honest experience with Optime Group is not good at all. It took them 4 months to do my work reference history. I asked for update and update whilst waiting and they constantly lied by saying they had sent references out but my referee never recieved them. I did majority of the chasing up. Such a slack workforce, no professionalism. Poor communication throughout with me and from department to department.
They asked me pay for my DBS check twice only to be told that the job is no longer available a week after making me pay. I turned down multiple other jobs in the meantime. This is the worst recruitment company I have come across in my whole work career (20 years). I should have noticed the signs from early and took the other roles offered to me. The reviews on Google are poor, I should have read them much earlier and cut my losses sooner. A lot of their reviews are fake, you can see this with the same account writing multiple 5 star reviews within weeks of eachother. Who writes 2 reviews under 1 name on trust pilot within 2 weeks? Fake reviews written by staff to drown out all the bad reviews. You cannot believe any of these 5 star reviews. My experience (and others) with all people across different departments was like dealing with school kids. It’s either wasting your time when they say you got the job and they don’t then employ you or they don’t pay you correctly and you receive no holiday pay. One of the worst parts was that there was no other job opportunity offered to me after they said the job I applied for was no longer available, even though I can see they are advertising various jobs, not a solution based company. Please do yourself a favour and don’t work with them, you will be wasting your time and will have issues.
Further Update - they stated below in their response that they will be reaching out to me to discuss my complaint further. It still hasn’t happened 2 weeks later. This is a prime example of how slack their workforce are and furthers my points which I made above. It’s all just talk to make them seem credible but no action to follow up… thank you for clarifying my point.

Had an interview with a lady called Jaime. She came across to be very professional and courteous. I could notice it was a busy area she was working in and usually interviewers try and rush through the process. My interview was done at a steady pass and I enjoyed speaking to her.
