The house itself was really quite lovely, but they overstated the number of physical beds. They advertised 9 beds sleeping 11. What they actually had was 4 normal beds and two, thin twin air mattresse... See more

Nice space with great view
Nice space with nice view. Dim lighting for meeting.
Perfect house for the occasion, will be renting again
We had a blast in this house! Not to mention having survived the "largest storm in Oregon history" in the place with 16 guest. Being stuck inside was no big problem because there was a lot of space, the house was basically divided into 5 areas so if you wanted to get away from the group it was easy to do so. Hot tub was a little old but did the trick, they came out right away when we noticed it needed to be serviced and we were able to use it when we wanted to later that evening. Having two kitchens worked out perfectly for making enough food for all of our guests and not worring about bumping into each other while cooking! Will totally be using the rental site and house in the future!
Great getaway
We stayed for 2 night. The house was perfect for the 8 of us (adults) kids would be happy here too, maybe not little, little kids that need carried. We nicknamed this house "The House of a Thousand Steps"
Two flights of stairs to get to the main living area from the entrance...... wow our legs git a workout. Worth it though!
Beautiful property
Had everything we needed and more. Would recommend to everyone. Couldn't use hot tub as someone had turned it off.
Nice house but lacking a few things
For all that you pay to stay at the house I expected it to at least have wifi and standard cable! I don't think it's asking too much for there to be those 2 things at least! Almost all hotels nowadays provide free wifi! It was especially annoying when there was no wifi and bad cell phone signal inside the house! Also there was no beach access within walking distance the only beach access near there was at a private beach owned by the resort down the road! It wasn't the worst place just a bad location that's lacking basic amenities!
Weekend Trip
Reservations online were easy. Directions clear. The rental was clean but needs a little TLC with some minor cosmetic fixes. The windows are large and give a great view. Privacy was not an issue. The heater is loud when sleeping and had to be turned off at night. The downstairs shower is loud as are the bathroom fans if others are sleeping. If you like to BBQ at the beach there is not one available. The futon in the upstairs bedroom was too rickety for my young boys to sleep on as one of the legs would give out however the sleeper couch downstairs worked well. This unit due to openness is best suited for a couple or single. The beach access is about 3 blocks away. Bring boots in the winter as access is across a little river! Beautiful beach. Nice location!
Bay view resort, Smells like mold and the beds are horrible..
the house lay out is amazing, but the house is in much need of help, the basement smell danky and mold, the bathroom downstairs is full of mold.
the furniture and beds are horrible we had to run back to salem to get air beds, update the furniture we where miserable by the 4th day the house we stayed at makes $72k a year i think you can afford to update The beds. Also the gutter flow where they want to, especially by the walkway, the gutters a clogged up.
things need fixing
When we got there everything seemed ok as before but then there was a few things that needed to be repaired. The front door would not stay latched and had to use deadbolt to keep door closed, then in the guest bath, went to use toilet paper and it came off the roll the spring was missing in the spindle, then my guest went to take a bath in guest bathroom and the valve handle just spun in circles. I couldnt let that be that way all weekend so i went to an auto parts store and bought the tool and parts needed to fix the valve. I repaired it and it worked fine. I spent $7.50 and 2 hours tracking down parts. I called the number but no real person answered so fixed it myself. We still had a great time and this is the only place we will rent.
Large and spacious and excellent view
The location and view of this home is excellent. We had a family reunion and the weather was rainy and windy off and on. Despite the weather, it was so wonderful to enjoy the ocean from everywhere anywhere upstairs. It was like we were ON the beach! We all could sit at the table which is hard to find. Lots of room for the little ones to run around. This home is like stepping back into the 70's. Everything is clean yet the furniture and appliances are dated. It's actually very Nostalgic. Everything matches the theme :)
There are 5 bedrooms inside the house. The mother-in-law apartment has an entrance from outside only. It has 2 queen beds, a bathroom with shower, a small kitchen table with 2 chairs a small fridge, stove, oven. It was a quiet seclusion from the goings on of little children and babies during the night and in the morning. No Tv in this room
The upstairs has the kitchen, dining, living and a reading sitting 'nook' area. The next floor has 4 bedrooms. The bottom floor has the bunk room. 3 sets of bunk beds and a full bed off in an area with a half walled of room. No door. The bed is next to the sliding door exit to the outside. We had to have an adult sleep in there with our little ones but the bed is not big enough for a couple. A queen bed somewhere in that room would be a great addition. The bottom floor has the exit to the garage.
We had 6 little ones 6yrs old and under. We had to keep an eye on the rails around the stairs as little ones could get through the bars. They are pretty far apart. (think 1970) There was one baby gate. No high chair though. There were some basic kitchen staples (oil, spices) for cooking. They had most kitchen cooking items. There were a conglomeration of items and we found most things we needed but again, it wasn't like there was thought into making sure items were there. It felt like a family home with lots of duplicates and some missing items. Bring a waffle iron or large griddle if needed.
The stairs to the house were slippery in the rain and one of our son-in-laws wiped out going down with an armful of items. He got pretty bruised up. No-slip tape or something needs to be put on those stairs. There was no laundry soap available although there should have been. Maybe an oversight of the cleaning crew. The couch was softy and comfy. There is nothing fancy about this place. But it is a nice comfortable place that met our needs. We liked it enough that we may return.
Loved the cottage, but
We loved the cottage. However, after all the fees and taxes, our $99 per night cottage was actually $150 per night. Take that into consideration before booking. There also seemed to be a small problem with moisture/mold. I noticed some mold or mildew on the window side of several of the window treatments. Other than these things, we enjoyed our stay very much.
Beautiful view
Very nice view..comfortable living area. Microwave didn't work upstairs but in the "in-law" suite downstairs it did. Basement suite was not very inviting. My parent's weren't excited to stay in a cave - the main entrance was the basement so you would assume more light...but overall it was a good house for our family due to the patio/view/kitchen and easy access to the beach.
Awesome
Have been using Oregon Beach Vacations for years, easy to go through, never any problems and will continue for more years to come.
Great experience!
This was a very easy website to use. The information requested was the usual type, and the information sent was very specific and helpful. Everything went very smoothly, except I was pretty sure I had requested a place with 2 bathrooms but was given a place with only one. It worked out fine, though - so we really don't have any complaints. It was a really good weekend overall!
Fall vacation on the Coast with friends.
Seaview condo #403 in Rockaway Beach, Oregon was a great place to stay. It is located right on the beach and the panaramatic view was awesome. The condo itself was very well-appointed and beautifully decorated. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had everything you needed, right down to the spices. It was nice to have an underground garage and an elevator to all the floors. My husband wanted to experience a fall storm on the coast and that we did for 5 days. We did have a perfect view of the storms. The only drawback was that we were not able to walk on the beach as much as I would have liked, but that had nothing to do with the condo. All in all, we would stay there again, if we return to Rockaway.
Great room/Great View
This is the first time we've stayed at Water's Edge. We love going to Mo's so it was nice to be able to walk there. The view was amazing when you walked in and looked out the patio doors. So much to see. Waves, high tide, low tide and tons of animal life. The unit is really clean and comfortable. We plan on booking this unit again.
The Bunk House was delightful.
Bunk House was delightful. Beautiful all around.. Well worth it and more. We had 10 total ... 4 adults and 6 Kids and the Beach every Day.
Quick and easy!
I've used them before a few years back and haven't been able to travel at all in a couple years. I get an email monthly or so with new listings, sometimes discounts etc. decided last week we would get out of town, jumped onto their sight, put a little bit of criteria in and found several listings. Booked, had everything I needed within 24 hours and we were on our way.
RELAXATION at it's best!
The Pacific Crest Condo's were pretty nice. Our particular unit was 80's throw back but clean and comfortable. The location was worth a million bucks. Not only were we beach side and beach accessible, we were less than two blocks from the center of Nye Beach shops.
