Almost any place in Neskowin rates well because of its beach and community. We loved the living room, dining area and spaciousness of the kitchen. The deck was very nice and spacious – if it were not for the lack of privacy due to neighbors on both sides all the time. Other things that we really liked were the access to the store and restaurant, good parking, the condos décor and furnishings etc.

Here are the things we didn’t like:

The kitchen was lacking a LOT for people who want to cook. The hand mixer was worthless – it couldn’t even whip mashed potatoes. It was lacking in utensils – just the basics available and those were not in great condition. This would not be a kitchen you would want to cook in often or more than eggs or hot cereal. Although housekeeping left a note about a starter package, we never found it. One bathroom smelled of urine and the toilet developed a pink line inside the bowl, which tells me it was never cleaned prior to the week we stayed. The secondary bed was HARD as a ROCK. The walls are thin enough that the crying baby in the condo next door woke me up every night (twice) for a week when it was hungry. Although, technically the condo is “beachfront” it is what I would consider more “creek-front”. You are definitely not right on the beach looking straight onto the waves. Not horrible - we just wanted more. None of the bedrooms are on the beach side so there is no leaving a window open at night to hear the sound of the surf . . . all you hear is road noise . . . and the baby next door. There was an annoying cat that bothered us every time we were on the deck or opened our back door. It would not go away. Be prepared because there is NO hairdryer.

Basically, if you just want to be in Neskowin – this is not a bad choice. I would just never stay again. We will try something else next time.

Would select them again, only problem was with the door lockbox when we arrived. Other than that everything else was great

The unit wasn't cleaned very well. Hot tub water level was half of normal fill. No lights on deck that worked. Bad water pressure in kitchen. TV had only 5 basic channels and low sound volume.

It was easy to book via Oregon Beach Vacations. It would be nice to receive a comprehensive receipt for the stay that includes deposit and full payment. Also, the description of the properties (2) were not accurate as it said each property had one and a half baths. In reality, they had one full bath and a sink that was located next to the full bath. The location of the extra sink did not contribute to convenience or privacy for two people.

This was a beautiful home with a great view. Also this was a great location in the middle of Lincoln City easy access to 101. The home itself was newer with the most amazing master bedroom/bath with a beautiful view with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the beach. Hot tub was a plus! The only thing that I would suggest is that if you have more than 6-7 adults you may have to bring a more comfortable bed than the bunk beds.

The house was quite cute, had very close beach access. There were houses in front of us, but we had some view of the ocean. One of the bedrooms did not have a door. Hot tub lid should have been replaced,several years ago. It was so heavy that it took two people to raise and lower it, because it was so waterlogged. Washing machine knob was broken, so you had to use a pair of pliers to turn the washer on. Holes in window screens too. We would rent the house again, if these small things were taken care of

The house was beautiful, the beach was close. Everything was as we expected it to be. I liked that the house was private and off the road a bit so you didn't feel like people were walking past your window all the time. There was a mix-up with the keycode but when I called Oregon Beach Vacations--even after-hours--they quickly got us in anyway.

The home was nicely furnished, clean, comfortable, and we'll appointed. I was able to cook a large meal in the spacious kitchen and had nice kitchenware to utilize. The huge cathedral windows offered an amazing, picturesque view of the ocean. Had a great time and would definitely go back!

Oregon Beach Vacations was great to work with. They answered my questions and got back with me by email promptly.

nice place, no complaints. tv complicated, no one's fault, what the world needs is a universal remote that works.

this place was filthy. I called and complained, b u t no one came and cleaned. I bought supplies and cleaned the bathroom myself! I was afraid to sleep in the bed because it looked like the bedding was dirty, I had invited guests to join me and I was very embarrassed of t h e accommodations. I have posted on YELP and Facebook. This place is not at all as listed.

We loved our stay at this cute little beach house in Lincoln City. It wasn't super clean but hard to keep clean after being by the beach. WIFI would have been nice to have. Location is great!

This home served us well as the 5 of us attended a conference, though the home seem older than we anticipated. With the exception of a few minor inconveniences (only one hand-towel in one bathroom, none in the other, ran out of toilet paper as only one roll was provided, and the bedroom walls were very thin-- as in you can hear EVERY single thing, and there were no pillows in one of the bedrooms), it was clean and comfortable. We felt safe, and it was in easy walking distance to the beach, boardwalk, and conference center.

It was so easy to reserve our property on the beach. When I called to clarify something on the property, the agent on the phone was very helpful and kind. Good communication via email before and after our trip. No issues at all during our stay. I will definitely be booking our next trip through OBV!

Oregon Beach Vacations was very easy to work with. I booked online and never even had to call them. They took care of everything and made it a carefree experience. I would book through them again.

We were on the 2nd leg of our honeymoon and the condo we had was what we wanted.

Great room and great price! The only negative is the flood lights just under the patio at night and the bathroom could use some attention, but You even care about those when you are taking in the view!

We were happy with the comfy bed and bedding, however, the bedroom is upstairs with no bathroom or tv which meant jaunts downstairs for my diabetic wife. Also, the limited Ocean View would have sufficed except the neighbor had a SUV parked there all five days we stayed. Basically, my wife stayed housebound as the drive way is so narrow with a house on one side and cement wall on the other that only l could maneuver our KIA Sportage out or in. The only other disconcerting thing was the cleanliness of the Jacuzzi tub which we remedied with soft scrub from Safeway. Did not meet our expectations....will look elsewhere in the future. DLW

After driving 300+ miles to get to the rental we had a 45 minute trial of trying to get into the rental to unload our bags and get settled. the emailed code did NOT work, there was NO outside keys locked in the rusty key boxes and were on hold with the 1-800 number trying to get the apparently single employee in the Lincoln City office to answer the 1-800 operator so we could get the door lock recoded (it's all done remotely). Finally got into the place and the central heating in the home is also controlled by wifi to their office. They never turned it on for us the first 24 hrs there --again remotely--so we about froze the first night. The gas fireplace--didn't work.The dryer didn't heat and the washer had a load of washed by never dried towels. The light over the outside main door was burned out so we had to use our cell phones to see to unlock the key-coded door every time we left and came back, Otherwise--this was a nice rental home and our stay was relatively uneventful. Still better than a motel. The beds were in good shape and clean. Just a word of caution: if you have handicapped folks or someone in your party who cannot do stairs, the house is on a very steep hillside and the lower bedroom does not have inside access to the upper floor.
