AVOID at all costs

I can’t believe that I didn’t consult TrustPilot before I had any dealings with this company. Had that been the case, I would have no need to write this damming review.
The company popped up on my local newspaper website. I read some reviews which were very good.
I decided to try one nail pen at at a cost of £7.99 or so I thought.
I used my phone to place the order. It was a strange website where you highlighted green boxes to order a product. I used PayPal asI always do with new companies. I have a degree and am relatively intelligent so how on earth did my one trial of a nail pen for £7.99 become a cost of over £95?.
When the order confirmation arrived a few minutes later I messaged to cancel the order. I received a response to say orders were processed as they were received and I couldn’t cancel. I messaged several times asking them to cancel and received platitudes but no cancellation.
I contacted PayPal as I felt sure I would have some protection. Despite my best efforts they said that the transaction was processed correctly. I challenged their decision but to no avail.
I have sent all my information to Watchdog now in the hope they will assist all the people here who have reported the problems they have had with this company also known as MB media and Bandoo
There must be some consumer laws to protect us or are they voided as the Company is American?

I have already added a review last week…

I have already added a review last week when I received a product that looked very dubious. Not a so-called Orivelle package as I had purchased. I sent an email complaint, but without any response, and now have received another 6 products that I certainly hadn't signed up for and they have taken numerous unauthorised payments totalling over £95.00.
I have called the bank who are checking this now as I have not signed up for any subscriptions. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY and read the other reviews! A complete scam and this is the first time that this has happened to me, and I am usually pretty clued up. AVOID, but if you have already bought from them, please contact your bank or Paypal asap!!

Beware of MB vs Media Dubious Sales Practices

UPDATE, 3rd November 2025:
I thought that it might be helpful to share the following response, copied from an email I received from the Orivelle seller, Alfred. Not once admitting that their actions were fraudulent. They charged me for an additional unauthorised transaction that does not exist on their order form on their website. Therefore, common sense prevailed that I could not have agreed to an automatic transaction plan.

Hello,

"Thank you for your response and for sharing your concerns.

We completely understand your frustration and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. However, our records show that your order was placed and processed according to the details confirmed at checkout. Since your cancellation request was received after the order had already entered the fulfillment process, we were unfortunately unable to stop it in time.

Regarding the transaction chargeback, PayPal initiates the process once a request is submitted either by you or your financial institution. We highly recommend contacting your financial institution for clarification regarding your claim.

Again, we apologize for the inconvenience this has caused."

Kind regards,

Alfred
Orivelle Team

My initial post is below.
Since the 17th October 2025, this has been a traumatic experience which ended today 2nd November 2025.

Thankfully in my favour, PayPal acknowledged that the merchant, registered with PayPal, as MB vs Media, fraudulently charged an unauthorised automatic transaction to my account.

PayPal has since awarded me a full refund.

MB vs Media, sells the Orivelle Antifugus Nail Care Pen.

They have several email addresses.

Eventually, I was able to contact the seller by email through accessing the link on Trust Pilot

Each time that I have accessed their website, the product sales information, including price differed.

Background:
On the 17th October 2025, I ordered one Nail care pen, which cost £13.99.

Returns and refunds
You must first access their website to fill out a request form for a return and refund.

The seller, then, acknowledged my request and asked that I confirm that I made the request.

After which, the seller has refused to activate a returns label for me to return their product and issue me a full refund. This is contrary to the information on their website about "no fuss" returns and refunds.

The seller then responded with a lengthy convolluted email of gibberish that bears no representation to their sales policy on their website.

The scam

1) They refused to acknowledged in plain English that I had placed only one order with them for the cost of £13.99

2) they used my information from that order to generate an unauthorised automatic transaction plan for the sum of £20.90 which they first charged to my account.

3) when I cancelled the unauthorised automatic transaction plan, the seller misrepresented the unauthorised automatic transfer by claiming that it was a sales purchase by me for an additional item.

If MB vs Media is reading this review, I would still like to return your product, so kindly send me the returns details.

Delivery
Apart from my address, there is no information on the shipping address label on the package that was posted through my letter box.

The tracking number revield that delivery was by SYPOST (also known as SunYou Post or SunYou Logistics) is a global cross-border e-commerce logistics service provider based in Shenzhen, China. It is a courier company that specializes in providing shipping, warehousing, and supply chain solutions for e-commerce businesses, particularly for low-cost items ordered from platforms like AliExpress, Joom, and TaoBao.

The company's headquarters are located in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, China, with branch offices in several other countries.

Orivelle website and the order confirmation email states an address in the USA.

TOTAL SCAMMERS!!

TOTAL SCAMMERS!!! Like other reviewers here, I ordered one pen for £6 and then was billed for SIX pens at £58 TWICE!! Orivelle had my PayPal password for the purchase of the one pen and then went and helped themselves to £116, and there is nothing PayPal can do, as it looks like I ordered this ridiculous amount. And because the company are in the USA, it will be a hassle to report them, but I think I will. They can’t keep ripping people off like this.

These are scam merchants

These are scam merchants. Exactly the same thing happened to me. I ordered one pen to try and 6 refills were added at a further 41 pounds. I tried to cancel the order 30 mins after placing it but I have now received email saying product has been dispatched! They are not to be trusted so steer clear. I would also urge people to check with the company with which they paid for these items. I have just checked with PayPal and they advised me that this is also a subscription so it means that payments will be taken from the bank account every month. PayPal have luckily cancelled the subscription for me which I didn't know about. Not only are they fraudulently adding items but signing you up for future payments as well! Please check before you lose any more money

Ordered one pen to try and they scammed…

Ordered one pen to try and they scammed me into pressing continue on the next page which automatically charges you for another 4 pens.

Now refusing to provide me with a refund due to the order being shipped despite also emailing me stating the order can not be shipped due to an address issue.
