I had an amazing experience at Ornate…


I had an amazing experience at Ornate Furniture Store! From the moment I walked in, the owner Ozzie and the sales associate Berat were extremely welcoming, friendly, and helpful. They took their time to really understand what I was looking for and helped me pick out a beautiful 5-piece bedroom set at a great price.

They were patient, knowledgeable, and never made me feel rushed or pressured. They also showed me other nice furniture pieces that matched my style and budget, which I really appreciated. Their customer service was outstanding, and the whole experience was smooth and stress-free.

If you’re looking for quality furniture, great prices, and excellent customer service, I highly recommend Ornate Furniture Store. Thank you, Ozzie and Berat, for making my shopping experience so easy and enjoyable!

Sofa Couch

I bought a sofa couch after my son and his wife started sleeping on it for a couple of days they noticed moist on the mattress my son turned on the mattress and it’s mold and wet. I called Ornate furniture and told me that it’s not a manufacturer defect and for that the warranty was not valid and since it’s over a couple of months that I had bought it I was out of luck, they offered me nothing. Don’t ever buy anything from them.

False "in stock" claims, delays, poor communication

Delivery promised within a week or so. Nine days later, no word. Calls are answered by stay at home moms with screaming children in the background. I was told the company was too small to let their customers know about their delayed orders.

1-Star Review: Extremely Poor Quality & Customer Service – Do Not Recommend

I’ve now ordered three couches from Ornate Home Furniture, and each experience has been worse than the last. I rarely leave negative reviews, but the level of poor quality and customer service I encountered makes it necessary to warn others.

Couch #1:
The first couch was a pull-out sofa where the entire sofa was not attached to the sofa bed mechanism. It was unsafe, unusable, and impossible for guests to sit on—this was for a short-term rental with guests arriving for a multi-day stay. They did replace it quickly, which was the only smooth part of all three purchases.

Couch #2:
The second couch arrived with a large tear that required repair. Getting this fixed required multiple emails, repeated calls, and pushback. After months of back-and-forth, they finally sent a repair kit, but the third-party repair company they used only services our mountain town occasionally. From delivery to completion, the repair took nearly four months, creating unnecessary stress and disruption.

Couch #3:
The third couch arrived with a slash in the leather. Ornate Home Furniture claimed I should have inspected it at delivery and therefore the warranty was void. This was impossible—the couch was wrapped in heavy shrink wrap and dropped at a loading dock. The driver unloads and leaves; unwrapping and fully inspecting on the spot isn’t feasible.

After countless emails, they eventually sent the repair kit, but I still had to pay out-of-pocket for a repair company—another long, drawn-out process that took months.

To make matters worse, the company repeatedly mixed up my orders, forcing me to sort out their mistakes in email threads that consumed more time and energy than any furniture order should.

Bottom Line:
The quality is extremely poor, and the customer service is even worse. Delays, damaged items, warranty issues, miscommunication, and the burden placed on the customer to fix the company’s mistakes make this a business I absolutely cannot recommend. Save yourself the frustration—look elsewhere.

After unpacking

After unpacking, I discovered a broken piece on the chest of drawers. The company will not take it back since it is out of the box. All other items that are still packed would require a 30% restocking fee to return plus a $99 pick up charge. Never received a return call from a manager. Also, the items did not exactly match the picture.

Do not purchase anyhting from this…

Do not purchase anyhting from this company. Just requested a full refund for my recent order, #715527, and to express my extreme dissatisfaction with your customer service.

Minutes after placing the order, I realized I had selected the wrong mattress and immediately contacted your company via email and phone to request a change. Despite my repeated attempts, my initial emails went unanswered for three days. The only response I received was a delivery notification. When I then requested to cancel the order and receive a refund, I was informed that I would incur a $499 shipping/exchange fee, even though I had not yet received the product. This is unacceptable.

The delivery experience was equally disappointing. The delivery driver left the mattress outside my residence, claiming it was "frozen" and would not fit through the door until it warmed up. This is entirely unprofessional and reflects poorly on your company's service.

Given the series of issues—my prompt attempt to correct the order, the lack of timely communication, the unreasonable cancellation fee for an undelivered product, and the unsatisfactory delivery—I demand a full refund for order #715527. If this issue is not resolved promptly, I will be forced to dispute the charge with my bank. On top of it all the Mattress has a ripped hole on the corner!!!

I found what I wanted and it was…

I found what I wanted and it was delivered quickly. So everything went well with Ornate. I do quibble with curbside delivery and high assembly costs. That said this is a reliable source for some very nice furnishings.

The company should have given me a heads up that it had to come from the manufacturer to them. I couldn't figure out why it was taking so long. I DO appreciate that they had the gentleman put it into my garage instead of in the driveway. Being handicapped, I truly appreciated the kindness that was shown when emailing back and forth. It is comfortable. Well made. Quiet motor. Good company, both the maker and Ornate. Great price. Never bought furniture without sitting on it before.

Scammers?

Ordered nov 18th i still havent received my order i tried to give them grace but no one answers the phone only reply us an email which takes 48 hrs to reply this has been a headache dealing with this company..

ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS DRESSER!!

ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS DRESSER!!! There was over a month wait, ordered on Aug. 30th and received today, Oct. 12th. It was absolutely worth the wait!! The dresser was packed so perfectly!!! All the way down to the knobs!! 100 out of 10!!! The drawers are deep and there’s not a scratch on it…and it’s ALL MIRROR!!!

I drove from RSM to ornate to pick up 2…

I drove from RSM to ornate to pick up 2 recliners they had advertised on sale. They had one in showroom only. The other was in warehouse in Buena Park. I ended up paying the $79 to have them shipped to my house which they arrived a week later. Good deal on the recliners and I like them. However if I’d known they didn’t have in stock, I would’ve save 2 hours and ordered on line.

The quality of the furniture high grade. We were extremely impressed with the selection and prices. Forget Wayfair or Amazon check these guys out. We drove from Santa Monica and we don’t regret it.

The easiest furniture purchase EVER

The easiest furniture purchase AND quickest delivery (CA to OR) I’ve ever experienced. Ozzy was knowledgeable and gave impeccable information. Delivery driver was polite, friendly and on time. Will definitely recommend Ornate and use again.
