our whole mortgage experience started with Paul, it was wonderful, he was attentive and made the whole journey nice and swift, moving from lender to lender based on our circumstances and finding us the best deal, when he left the company he handed us over to the amazing Chanel who managed my rantings like a sister, very prompt and cheerful emails from her. After a bit of shopping around, we opted to use Oscar James for our mortgage advisors. Dan was incredibly helpful from start to finish, meeting us at the local branch for appointments. As first-time buyers we were utterly lost and learning all the time, but Dan was happy to explain and elaborate on all the info we needed. He kept us updated at the early stages when rates were changing so that we ended up with the cheapest deal possible.

Both Dan and Chanel were quick to respond to queries and action various tasks along the way, which really helped us feel confident that they were across everything.

We had a change in circumstance quite late relating to our life/critical illness policy which Dan and Chanel swiftly resolved. Additionally, when there was a complication with the conveyancers, Dan was quick to offer help and clarification to move things along.

Overall, really happy with the service. As first-time buyers the whole thing felt completely daunting but the service and support from Dan and Chanel were great.

Paul not only saved my mortgage last minute, he provided the best advice and support all the way through to completion. He sorted out all my insurances, made sure I was up to date with the latest interest rate news and I could not recommend him more. Buying a property as a solo first time buyer was a very painful experience but when it came to my mortgage it was painless and I am very grateful for that! I will absolutely be using Paul again in the future.

Brilliant service from Dan, we have used him for our last 3/4 mortgages and even speak with him as and when required for advice. Nothing too much trouble and has great market knowledge and experience. Will continue to use him for all our mortgage needs.
