This website does it's job. YET, items that are being sold in one place linked with another city 200km away for some reason. Random business ads are everywhere too. I like the fact that I can advert... See more

Kijiji used to be great but it is junk…
Kijiji used to be great but it is junk now. We live in Red Deer area and to find good homes for our puppies we would put an add up in both Calgary and Edmonton to reach more people. Now they will not allow this.

This service since eBay has taken over …
This service since eBay has taken over has gone nowhere else but DOWNHILL. Most of the Canadian reps/service personel are on a power trip in cancelling some postings that don't agree with them. The staff are "Legends,...in their own minds" !!!
There are many other alternatives,..just Google to find out. This site is racist, homophobic, the LGBTQ community will noy post with these NAZI owners !!
This Site is absolute bullsh*t
Really? Why in the hell would I Bother using this site? The buyers are pricks who are busy sucking their own d*ck without realizing the damn seller is waiting for a damn response! That was my experience with this crappy bootleg craigslist site. If you're going to sell something online, FOR THE NAME OF @#$@ PLEASE DON'T USE KIJIJI. BECAUSE MOST OF THE DAMN BUYERS WON'T EVEN RESPOND TO YOUR EMAILS! EVEN IF THEY DID, THEY ALREADY FOUND ANOTHER GODDAMN SELLER.
This company sucks
Since they changed ownership, using Kijiji sucks. I stopped using it and wouldn't recommend anyone else using this site either.
Absolute ****
I have sent 3 Customer service emails about my ads being removed. After going through the "verification process" and did not hear anything back. After contacting customer service again, I have still heard nothing. No response from customer service. I understand that most ads are free, but as someone who is willing to pay for advertising. On top of this while reviewing their policies to see what I could possibly be doing wrong, I have found quite the interesting policy referring to "Pit Bull" type dogs, which has hit another nerve with me. Won't recommend, and definitely will not be using again.
KIJIJJI SUCKS BIG TIME... DO NOT USE THIER SERVICES
Kijiji.ca is one of the biggest scam companies in Canada. They only keep users who pay them and delete or block the rest.
As long as you have your ad paid you are good. If not they will delete your ads after few days because they are not benefiting from them.
Also if you have multiple things to sell or some services to offer kijiji will block you. Such a ripper company operating in Canada from Amsterdam.
Alternative websites like craiglist, is a very good option when compared to kijiji.
Ver y unsatissfied.
ISSUES WITH POSTING ADDS
I tried to post an add and it tells me to contact customer service and there is no way to contact them, now im frustrated..
Horrible
Horrible company” - They are trying to call me a dealer and charge me for the adds and I am not a dealer and do not sell cars for living, I've had the same two adds running for months and couldn't sell anything on this site due to all the window shoppers that visit this site, your add is on page 30 just 10 minutes after listing. I will not use this site ever again and will start supporting other sites suck as the Auto trader.
They occupy several top positions on google illegally pushing down the competition
Kijiji ads occupy several top positions on google searches in most keywords and keyphrases illegally pushing competition down
Google should NOT give an unfair advantage to any single Co.
It's horrible to find a job on that site especially if your a young women!
I'm looking for part time work to make extra cash and instead of getting real legit job offers, I get creepy men asking me if I wanna a cam model or do some escorting for them! -.- like what heck?! Kijiji needs put some rules on what people can post and what they can't post! Plus I heard the other day a women who was about my age getting sexuality assaulted by a fake job offer from kijiji! To all you young women out there, BE CARFUL! The pervs love women with a nice pretty face -.-
Tacky theft
They charge dealers $12 to place an ad, then $4 daily to "bump" the ad. They fill the pages with advertisements, NOT dealer ads, so that our ads get "bumped" back really fast and in a few hours your ad is on a page past 30, they don't tell you which page either, just that you have to "bump".
This is tacky business to expect busy business owners to pay daily for an ad when it was already paid for.
The paypal system to handle payments is an absolute nightmare. As is Kijiji customer service.
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! UNPROFESSIONAL STAFF!!!
Worst customer service and staff ever! I placed an ad on their site selling my double stroller and received an email next morning saying that my ad is removed as it is against their policy. And I should not be selling car seats manufactured before January 2012. Ok fine but I'm NOT selling car seats I'm selling a double STROLLER! Sending them an email won't work as they ignore your emails especially, if you point their mistakes.
The annoying thing is I can see many car seat ads on their web site and all of them are manufactured before January 2012! And they a still there. When I point that out to them they said "let us know if you see those ads" Really? What are you doing to deserve your salary? I told them that it is their duty to find those ads not mine, that is why they are getting paid for it!
Kijiji MUST get rid of those stupid! rude! staff as soon as possible. No wonder why kijiji is going down!!! I say stay away from kijiji until their CEO do something about this stupid madness! Oh and the their email below ( Presidentofoperations@kijiji.ca) does NOT exists!!! Keep up the good( yeah right! ) work kijiji!!!
FANTASTIC buy/sell site!!!!
This is the place to find what you are looking for at a decent price as well as locally.
If you are wanting to sell items/services then its a really great way to get ads out where they will be seen by many!
