From a very simple company set up that took 10 mins with a normal company secretary. It took 5 hours and constant reminders and buggy software that doesn’t work.

Promises of refund after termination of service took 7 working days and still outstanding.
Will be filing a police report soon if they don’t fix it .
Engaged them at your peril.

BTW Reviews works both ways, If you see reviews that is between 5 stars and 1 Stars , you wonder why there is so much difference. The 5 Stars are the ones they posted themselves and the 1 Stars are the real ones.

Now they finally messaged me when I threaten a police report which I will finally do if I still don't get their refund.
Finally got my email from them promising me that it will be handled. Best part about the email was they claim they had not received my request for refund after 7 days and 3 confirmed WhatsApp messages that it will be handled.
Can you imagine if I had used them for my corporate secretary services?
Honestly I can’t imagine.

Btw their telephone number doesn’t work. Goes to voice mail.
Try calling them first before signing up . I made a mistake by trusting what they put on the website and fake reviews.

Finally got my refund after 20 days. What a painful experience.

Osome- a company with good concept and horrendous execution. Worse I have ever seen

The absolute worst service. Say they are a professional accounting service which helps filing accounts. In my case they lost the UTR that HMRC sent to them and so never forwarded it to me. They charge EXTRA for every smallest thing after charging for a yearly service. They wanted to charge me £100 for a confirmation statement which I did my self for £34. They failed to provide any accounting software. All they did was provide an address for the company, which I get free from my new, real accounting service. Stay away. Worse than useless. They get in the way and profit from their own administrative errors.

Farha is a very good accountant and honestly I don’t normally leave reviews but for this, I had to. My accounting was a complete mess because of lack of organisation but she sorted it out, made sure stuff was filed promptly and on time and never failed to reply quickly so thank you!

Smooth operations when it comes to company tax returns. And very helpful when you do not understand something as they are happy to arrange a meeting to discuss.

Fantastic service so far from the Osome team...it's early days on our account as we are relatively new customer to them, but I'm very impressed so far! I found my Osome accountant to be proactive and supportive. I was always given ample notice to suppIy tax information. I was also encouraged to seek clarification on any financial requests. My accountant also arranged video calls to explain more complicated or confusing matters. Overall, I am very happy with the service and I am grateful for their overall professionalism.

Osome agent, Mary, was helpful. She explained things i didnt understand on the procedure and helped me to solve my issue.

Very quick response times, very helpful staff and clear instructions to follow for submitting documents.

Confusing because there is no single account manager you can contact, many liaisons asking about different matters, sometimes asking the same matters too. Documents were sent to them, opened by them and uploaded by them. But accountant (persons keeps changing) still asks me for it. When i informed that the documents are all already uploaded by their team, accountant says he will check. Hasn’t gotten back. Asked for a meeting with just one person to manage all these requests from so many people and so many chats. They give me a 15minute call. This is terrible. Suggest you avoid this company. I use another one for another business, total opposite. Save yourself agony and avoid.

Notice how most of the five-star reviews here are for the onboarding process. The actual accountancy service is terrible beyond words. I've had 5 accountants since joining. I'd wake up to automated messages like 'Meet your new accountant' and be passed to someone completely new who didn't know a thing about our business. Multiple, extremely basic errors nearly cost us thousands in overpaid VAT (I had to spot the errors myself and then report them to the 'accountant', who was actually not, it transpired, a properly qualified accountant). Everything is outsourced to low-paid workers. Monthly reports never arrived. Every return and deadline is left to the last moment and has to be chased. All clients are being pushed from 'normal' accounting software like Xero to a weird proprietary software owned by Osome. If you value your business and want accurate insights into what's happening with it, go elsewhere.

I've been using Osome since January 2023 and I am thoroughly impressed with the service. My accountant, Onome, has been exceptional—always helpful, knowledgeable, and readily available to answer any questions or have calls. She assisted me with my VAT registration, and the process ran completely smoothly. Recently, they also submitted my annual accounts for my LTD company with no issues. Overall, it has been a great experience, and I look forward to many more years of working together. Highly recommended!
