OVH is scam - ripped off - 3rd class
One of the 3rd class provider ovh.ie, scam with my money, totally ripped off. Took my money and dont deliver the server. 7 days gone. One of the pure scam basta*rds! Avoid ovh scam at all cost.
Do not believe OVH availability
Was told if I selected a server in France it would be available in 24 hours. I did and as soon as the order was placed I logged in to see a message stating they are experiencing delays. Terrible behaviour why don't they tell potential customers this when placing an order. Yes 24 hours passed and no server, after 36 hours still no update so I decided to cancel and email requesting a refund. 1 week later no reply and no server so I had to contact my bank to reverse the transaction. Update they have just responded to my email 10 days later and apologised for the late deliver of the server. Disgraceful behaviour.

My server has been running stable with 0 problems at a super affordable price for what I get, there is only one catch - THEIR SUPPORT. I faced a billing issue where I suddenly was charged 20 euro more than I am supposed to and created a ticket to get the issue sorted. Exactly 2 weeks later I get a response that did not help, nor did it touch in on the problem I had at all, just some irrelevant information about my billing period being shorter or something. After this non-informative response, my ticket was closed without being me being able to give any explanation or message back.
I have now opened a new ticket and been waiting for 1.5 weeks but my ticket is still empty.
Great services at great prices, but in case you face an issue you will not get any help at all. Will change this review in case I get a response ASAP, which I doubt will happen. 2 stars for now.

Really good technology but a bit lack…
Really good technology but a bit lack of information about the Security system and quite hard to understand the web interface.(web interface is really slow) The staff is very Professional but they take up to 48 hours to answer in emergency cases.
A great provider for small-large business
OVH is truly one of the best providers I've ever had the opportunity to work with. Servers are fast, there was no downtime yet, WebPanel is great (!), DDoS protection is simply a level above anything else... Overall great service. The only issue was supported... I usually waited for 2 days per reply - but that was before I purchased the server. After I did, they responded in about 2 hours, which is.... relatively acceptable. I'll update this review after further tickets.

I have been using Ovh for close to 10 years. During this period, I received ddos attacks 4-5 times a year. As a network stability, server quality and features, and as a computer engineer student, I can sincerely recommend it to anyone. Their technical support has always helped with my problems. They have good intentions. Because of Covid, I use Soyoustart, Ovh's different service. (For financial reasons.)
Likewise, a very high quality service is offered.

I registered a domain and paid for it. I couldn't select the right country of my residence (Germany) because it was not listed. And continued anyway with registration. Made my payment and opened a ticket from backoffice to inform the customer service to change my country to the right one.
I received some minutes later a answer to my ticket and thought everything is okay now. At same time I was logged out of the backoffice, my account was deleted and my domain order was cancelled without any explanation!!
The support man wrote that I have to create a new account to their german site. Thats it.
I wished I could give you minus 10 stars for your support. Never again and for sure no recommendation. If you search for a reliable company and for that position a functional support is sometimes the most important point, have a look for other hoster. It's worth.
Brilliant service and support team
I have purchased two VPS packages but noticed that the first IP was in a pool of bad reputation IP's used for spam emails. this will of course hurt my business a lot since its based on emailing too. I bought a second one and it was also in a poor IP pool. at the third try I finally managed to get a neutral IP.
I have contacted their support explained everything and asked for a refund.
They didnt even hesitate. I got a full refund on both vps's even through I have used the first one for couple of months .

I am one of the earliest clients of OVH.ie.
I've been using their services for more than 9 years and they do offer affordable servers which is great.
The issue is that if you ever encounter any issue with your servers, the only thing their technical support will be willing to do is to reboot your server and if it still doesn't work, they will reboot it in "rescue" mode. That is it.
On one of my servers, the Hard Drive was no longer being detected. I have been asking for help for a week, their only answer was that The disk is dead, we replaced it.
They took zero time trying to find a solution and further inspect the problem. Maybe the disk simply got unplugged. They don't bother making any effort.
It was very frustrating to talk to "Oliver N." who was ignoring all of my questions.
I am greateful that I have been moving away recently from OVH "Cloud" to AWS. If they want to call themselves "Cloud" they need to take care of the hardware more proactively. The server was having disk issues for many months now and they haven't done anything.
Save yourself from their defectuous hardware, go with a good Cloud platform like Google Cloud or AWS. It will save you time and money.
