We are a QR code provider for B2B, and sometimes clients go through our protection net and use our service with malicious intent.
Thus, the OVH abuse team has contacted us about the misuse of our short URLs.
We always treat those issues with great attention and solve them as fast as possible. Our whole reputation and business are on the line.
However, suddenly, we received the usual alert from the abuse team, we solved it blazingly fast and IN THE SAME way as we usually do. However, the abuse team apparently ignored our resolution and, the next day and without any warning, proceeded to blacklist our entire system. Putting our whole infrastructure down.
This went on for 3 hours, with no communication whatsoever, damaging our brand and upsetting many clients.
If it were our fault, I wouldn't mind per their T&C, but we did everything by the book.
Once the blacklist timed out, I received a message saying the abuse ticket was closed, and we received no further communication.
This is utterly unacceptable. If we do not receive any communication, we'll have to resort to legal measures and move to a new provider.

I'm was genereally happy with OVH and a customer for over 8 years, but as my Credit Card expired, they deleted my instances w/o sending an email. Even if the email arrived, it would have been a 7 day deadline to deletion. This is an outragios policy that should be changed, i suggest: Stop/Suspend the instance w/o deletion, send emails to the clients with reasonable deadlines, and start the instance again once payment has been fixed. At the current state, I cannot recommend OVH unless you backup agressively.

Over the past month, there have been many problems. Here they are in chronological order.
1. I need websites that can run CGI files made with PERL programming. I found an internet website that said OVH can do this. I paid for a PRO account, and after a week of problems I was told that OVH will not run CGI files on a shared server and that I must get a VPS instead of a PRO.
2. I paid for a VPS and tried to follow the guide for its configuration. After many days of difficulty I found out that the initial video on the guide KB0047736 (getting started on VPS) is out of date and no longer valid. Ubuntu has changed the method of changing the port to a socket-based activation instead of the method in the video. So when I made the changes in the video, my access to the server was blocked.
3. The procedures described by OVH to set up a VPS are so complicated that they can only be done by an expert programmer. I hope that I can find an expert to help me at a reasonable price.

Absolutely intolerable.
I asked to cancel my hosting (under the 14 days). It took them 7 days to process my refund until I get the refund, then tried to make a new payment from my bank for the hosting that got canceled without any prior authorization, and then deactivate my website.
No service, no follow-up, fraudulent payment. I reported your behaviour to my bank as you try to catch fraudulous payment. Case: CS11787647

I recently had an issue with my VPS (vps-ee4d74bd.vps.ovh.net) and contacted OVHcloud support. Thanks to Leticia from the Claims Department, my request was handled professionally and efficiently.
The server was successfully replaced, and the previous contract was terminated as a one-time exception due to my specific circumstances in Ukraine, where the ongoing war has created very difficult financial conditions. The invoice was canceled. Communication was clear, and all steps were explained.

Purchased an VPS, order got cancelled personal detail inaccuracy, but I dont know what’s wrong. They have my contact number emails to verify. biggest problem is I cannot reply to any their mail, can’t create a support ticket unless I have active product. I have been a dedicated server customer since 2018. Recently i add a new dedicated server, migrating from VMWARE free to PROXMOX. At the moment to close the old server, Joanna (ticket CS11485211) kindly saved me from having to pay for early termination of the contractual commitment.
Dedicated servers require a certain amount of technical preparation to take full advantage of them, but once configured, I've never had a problem that support hasn't resolved very quickly.
Highly recommended.

I was scared every domain name I bought were cancelled and no refund could be expected, but the agent were there very professionnal and caring and he fixed everything within seconds and help me getting reassured and feel better now. I only need to buy one more domain name in replacement of the one that is not free and that Block the process for a transfer that were asked to me. But the agent fixed every thing. Tanks à lot

I am generally satisfied with OVHcloud; their services are reliable and meet my needs. However, the only downside is that it takes quite a long time to get responses from support. Once you do get through, the help is good, but the waiting period can be frustrating. Overall, a positive experience, but I hope they improve their support response times.

OVH is an easy platform, but you need to know more what you do. E.g. when I auto renewed my DNS but not my domain name, I would expect to be warned before it shuted down.
But customer service / chat is very efficient and OVH never let me in a bad situation, every time I asked them support.
