Paddle Outlet made a mess...
I ordered a seat for a kayak fully aware that I will have to pay import customs. As usual, I put in my working address for shipping, and personal address for payment. Unfortunatelly, Paddle Outlet made a mess of that, so DHL charged import customs to my company! That made a hole lot of problems for the company. Finally, we managed to transfer that bill to me, but in the procces expenses literally doubled. I grossely overpaid that seat thanks to this store. Never again...

We at Paddle Outlet feel that this is a harsh review of our services.
Shipping to Europe is much more complicated than it used to be and we are proud of the level of service we provide our European customers.
That said, the Billing Address on an order is most often used for payment verification to prevent fraudulent orders. The Shipping Address is used to arrange delivery of the items. In future it may be worth contacting the retailer at the time in order to make sure something like you've experienced doesn't happen again.
It is however worth noting, that we do not have any control over Importation Taxes, we used the Delivery Address as given to us and apparently the courier has charged you incorrectly. However we cannot confirm this is the case as at no point in the process did you contact us to see if we could help at all.
At Paddle Outlet we have strong working relationships with the couriers we use and it is possible that we may have been of some assistance. Which is why I do not believe a 1* review is a reflection of our business or services, we have shipped a great product, as ordered when requested and the courier has charged you based on the Delivery Address provided, you have decided that this is our fault and yet not given us a opportunity to assist you.
As such we would appreciate it if you would consider amending your review?

Ordered blackfoot angler 130
Ordered the blackfoot angler 130 and it was shipped to the Netherlands quite rapidly and without issues. There was a YakAttack fishing crate freebie offer on, but unfortunately it wasn’t available outside the Uk, but they gave me a 5% discount on the kayak instead.
