Bit confused
I was a bit confused by this purchase. After spending almost £300 on a product I got no email confirmation or any sort of correspondence to say that the purchase had taken place so I was very concerned. Then I was directed to download the Shop app in order to track my package. After reading about the Shop app online it had terrible reviews, and was attempting to access all my emails so I was further concerned that this whole purchase had been a scam. Then suddenly I got a fedex email pertaining to a delivery, but none of the shipping numbers matched any of the ones I had for the purchase, so was unsure if this was even for the correct product.
In the end, it was the items I had ordered but I had spent a good few days stressing and worrying that I had been scammed. I even attempted to call a few times but everytime it went straight to answering machine.
I would just recommend a receipt of purchase via email, and not to use or reccomend strange third party sites.

For the purposes of others reading this we would like to reply and clarify some items that re untrue. And for record note that this is the first time any issues have been raised. You will see by our speed of reply we care deeply when any review is not 5 Star
1) Every single order gets an order email confirmation. We use Shopify, the biggest global web platform and this is automated, accurate and trustworthy to confirm an order
2) Download the Shop App, this is a Shopify feature, it is nothing to do with Paddle Outlet and Paddle Outlet does not require or request this. It is a nice way to track the order for Shopify purchases, nothing more.
3) Shop App = this is NOT us... we feel it unfair to put a negative comment against our business with 3/5 Stars when it seems there is confusion between Shop App and Paddle Outlet. We are a specialist kayak store, Shop is an online giant app.
4) Every customer gets an email to a) Confirm Order, B) Confirm shipment, C) FedEx or Royal Mail email with tracking
5) Customer above had 2x boxes... each box has a tracking number... only the Master box tracking number is sent out by Shopify emails... but all area accessed via the same Master
6) We have ZERO missed calls from the mobile number the customer here gave, whilst we are often busy on the phone, we will always make sure to reply to the customer
Finally, for any customer reading this we would like to note the timeline of the transactions.
Purchase = Friday 24th November 6pm
Despatch = Monday 27th November 12noon
Delivery = Tuesday 28th November 10am
We make it clear we do not operate over the weekend. The item was shipped within 3 business hours, and delivered within 1 business day. We cannot do any better than this
To Mairead, we ask that you reassess your interpretation of the service, you are giving negative feedback to things outside our control. We delivered you order very fast, and send clear emails that perhaps went to your Junk folder. We partner with Shop and Shopify as global leaders, the biggest and safest for our customers to use... if you have concerns about their App, please leave THEM a bad review. We feel our service here was as good as it can get. If you would choose to edit the review it would be appreciated. We take each review very seriously.
