Achieving a Distinction in my NVQ Level 3 Lead Adult Care Worker End Point Assessment is one of my proudest accomplishments. This journey has challenged me to grow both professionally and personally, strengthening my knowledge, confidence, and leadership within my role.

Throughout the course, I have developed a deeper understanding of person-centred care, safeguarding, risk management, and effective communication. I have been able to apply this knowledge directly into my practice, ensuring that the individuals I support are empowered, respected, and encouraged to maintain their independence.

This qualification has also enhanced my leadership skills, allowing me to support my team more effectively, model best practice, and promote a positive and safe working environment. I have learned the importance of reflection, continuous improvement, and maintaining high standards of care at all times.

Receiving a Distinction reflects not only my dedication and hard work, but also my passion for making a meaningful difference in people’s lives. I take great pride in the care I provide and the relationships I build, and this achievement has further motivated me to continue developing within the health and social care sector.

I am incredibly grateful for the support and guidance I received throughout my learning journey, and I look forward to progressing even further in my career.

Kirsty Welding my tutor has been fantastic with me throughout doing my level 3, she is really pleasant and makes you feel at ease and if you ever need her she is there. She really has given me the confidence boost I needed. Thank you Kirsty for being supportive and helping me grow.

The enrollment process was really easy, the emails/guidance/kindness and speed of response from co-ordinator Nicky MacKenzie has given me confidence to be able to manage the coursework in between shifts.

I am approaching the end of my level 3 lead adult care qualification. The structure of the modules on the platform were easy to follow and deadlines attainable. I have just completed my nvq l3 lead adult care worker with paragon skills. I had a long journey, having to have a break in learning due to family life but paragon were great in helping me through this and pushing me to finish when I was at the last hurdle, I’m so grateful I did it. My first few tutors weren’t the most helpful but my last tutor Jolene Hornsby really helped me get through it persevering with me - she really is a great asset to paragon.

Paragon skills have been so supportive with my diploma I have just completed! I want to especially thank Luke, Heather and Judy for all their encouragement and help, making the workshops informative as well as a time to interact with other students. Also another shoutout to Judy Baxter for all her ongoing support from start to finish giving me the confidence to push myself to achieve the top grade I achieved.

My tutor Joanne Heritage was always available throughout my course and supportive of my studies and endeavours. She paid attention to my needs and knew how to optimise my potential. She was always genuine in her concern towards me, I felt my tutor went the extra mile for me.

I recently completed my apprenticeship and I am very happy with my experience. English is my second language, so at the beginning I was a little worried about studying and completing all the work. It was not always easy and sometimes it was quite difficult, but thanks to my tutor everything went smoothly.

My tutor Joanne Heritage, was very patient, supportive and always explained things clearly. She helped me believe in myself and supported me through the whole course.
She was always helpful, understanding and patient. Whenever I had questions or needed extra explanation, she was there to guide me.

In the end I passed my apprenticeship with distinction, which made me very proud. I am very grateful for all the support and encouragement I received.

Completing my NVQ Level 3 was a dream come true and goal I always wanted to achieve. I couldn’t have done it without paragon skills and my incredible Tutor Kate Underwood. Her patience, kindness, dedication and support throughout this journey was tremendous. Juggling between work, life and studies was taking a toll on me, but she was there to guide me through it all. I am immensely grateful for her and proud of my accomplishments.
