Got a BRK1 its top end tool box costing over £1700.
The first issue tightening an E bike front chain ring , I use the included bbt18 unfortunately there is no spanner included in the kit to use this tool.
Second job change a rear wheel put the xd cassette on reach for the included torouqe wrench, unfortunately the tool is not compatible with the wrench.
The only way to use the tool is with the chainwhip that has a wrench cut out at the end.
Thirdly no t25 socket, there is t25 bit on im the handel of there driver that dose 4 fixed tourqe settings.
The whole thing is poorly thought out with inclusion of 36 mm claw foot 25mm socket and t25 socket.
These issues would be solved probably costing less than £30.
Contacted Park tools Chads attitude was if you not happy with it take it back to the shop!!!!.
So 1 star for them , its got some great tools in it but not thought out and park tools don't seem interested in fixing it.
One of the coasters on my shop stool broke, and the replacement process was simple.
I lost a hex bit and needed to replace it. The price to replace was very reasonable. I feel like the cheap replacement part made me see the value of buying Park Tool.
I consider Park Tools of an exception quality. The website is extremely useful when I need directions for making a repair.
I was able to find the expendable parts for my chain cleaner. The sponge in the chain cleaner gets used up after 8-10 uses and I was glad that Park had them as a repair part for it. I ordered 10 so they would be available when needed.
Quick shipping for replacement parts, very happy.
I ordered some new parts for my 10+ year old Park Tool floor pump #PFP-3. Watched a YouTube video and added all the new parts. Back to working like she was new. So great to be able to buy parts for the pump since it’s no longer made.
#1, I SOOO appreciated the ability to buy small parts to keep my Park PFP-2 pumping after 25 years!
Chad was extremely helpful and professional; will buy from them again!
I'm a school trained Bicycle mechanic with 3 plus years experance. Throughout school I used Park Tools. So, when equiping my own shop I chosePark Tool's for their quality
Always been a fan of Park Tool, but no more. This tool is flawed and breaks. However, if it doesn't happen right away, Park will invoke the "Limited" part of their token warranty policy and claim "wear and tear." Numerous other companies actually stand behind their tools when you actually use them; this is the 2nd such "wear and tear" nonsense from Park (other was on a standard 15mm wrench).
Exact part east to look up and order
Very fast shipping
Don’t ever buy any Park bike tools. They are the worst company you could ever deal with when it comes to WARRANTY a tool please please I beg you guys to stay away from this company. It says limited warranty on the Tools website, but when you go and fill out the form then you get a really rude person that calls you or emails you telling you that you misused the tool like I told a guy there’s no instructions telling you how to use your tool is just BS. They just can’t stay behind their product. Lame.
Fantastic customer support. I broke my IB-3 within a day of ownership from me miss using the tool. Note that I am the same guy that broke his bike chain the first day of use pedaling too hard up hill while shifting gears. I admit my novice status! I contacted customer support. They quickly reached out to me and came up with a solution to take care of me! I will be purchasing more bike tools from them in the future.
I contacted Park Tool looking for a small part to repair my CN-10 cable cutter. I've owned this tool for for 7-8 years and use it regularly given I'm still partial to mechanical drive trains. The particular fixing bolt unfortunately is not available and being proprietary I'm unable to find a functional replacement. Customer service, without me asking, offered a tool replacement covering it under their tool warranty policy. I did not expect this and was ready to accept it as a wear and tear issue. I see a slough of negative reviews about product quality and customer service and have to say my experience is quite the opposite. I own 14 different Park tools acquired over the years and each one is reliable and well made. They aren't the cheapest out there but you get what you pay for.
I bought a park tool mech hanger alignment tool off Amazon think it was £74 first impression was the quality was poor then the next day I noticed on Amazon 3 other identical tools with different brand stickers on for half the price I paid. Absolutely fuming
I bought a tw5.2 wrench that was defective and their customer service claimed it was normal and functioning properly. They didn’t offer to look at it or help me at all. I’ve been a mechanic for 15 years and this is very disappointing that their products and customer service have become garbage.
PHT25 (Torx 25 t handle) snapped while torxing up a rotor bolt.
Park tool say contact company I bought from as I am outside of the US. Company (CRC) no longer stocks. If you sell worldwide then they should honour the warranty.
They then tried to upsell me implying I put at least 25nm through an alloy rotor bolt.
I had owned it for 3 years and used it rarely. Poor quality for alot of money
Purchased a Park Tool SBS 1.2 socket and bit set in late April 2021 and used the 6mm long reach hex bit in conjunction with the Park Tool TW-6.2 torque wrench for the first time on 15 May 2021. The bit rounded off without much force at all and having been fully inserted in the hex bolt head. Wholly unsatisfactory quality from a company that puts itself out there as being the premier bike tools manufacturer in the world. The metal from which the hex bit is made seems overly soft. Will I buy any more tools from Park Tool? No! Once bitten, twice shy!
