Tasty food. Really good portion size. Delivery was efficient, to my door on the date I selected and within the time frame I was given. Email was sent when processed and another when out for delivery so you know when the food is on its way. I will order again.

Pat Blacks delivery of Caribbean food, finally we have a service that brings generous, tasty and authentic food. Great selection of the classics and packaging is the best, everything comes frozen which is great for planning ahead, defrosts beautifully and doesn’t impede the taste… wonderful will definitely be peeing more..

I must say the Jerk, chicken and rice meal was a delight in my mouth; it sure did tantalise the taste buds.
I also ordered a range of Pats dishes, I’m sure they too will be pleasurable😋
Delivery service was spot-on!

Food was absolutely lovely, full of flavour, and very filling - you get a lot of it:). All the Family enjoyed it and there was something for everyone including the vegans:) Would definitely recommend it.

Always apprehensive when buying Jamaican food but was not disappointed! Great portions, convenient and very tasty! Will be sharing with family and friends and looking forward to trying more of the menu!

It was delicious and hit the hungry spot real good 😋

The food tastes like its freshly cooked. The portions are so generous too. Put it on a large plate Lol!.

Great food. Staff have no manners well one of them but the foods greatt

Ordered 2 stewed chicken and 2 oxtail meals on 29/7 and received them on 1/8.
Starting with the communication, I promptly received an email with the date of delivery. On the day of delivery, about 3 hours before delivery, I received another email advising the meals were out for delivery. The courier, who turned out to be Pat Black himself, was polite and courteous in the handover. I was pleasantly surprised at how well packaged the meals were. I normally balk at paying for postage/packing and delivery but I can now appreciate why there is a £4.99 charge. The meals were well protected with polystyrene foam pads around them and then placed in a strong cardboard box that was securely taped. Plus the service of a friendly courier!

Now for the important part. I purchased the meals for my Jamaican mother who is unafraid to criticise food. I provide care to her but sometimes I need a rest from cooking. At those times, I will order a takeaway from a Caribbean shop, whose food my mother likes. I have noticed however, that the prices are increasing and portions getting smaller, so have been wanting to have other options alongside takeaways . Particularly as my kitchen will be out of action for about 10 days during refurbishment in September. Well, my solution has been found today . The portions of the oxtail meal are good (my mother asked if that was one meal as she was surprised at how good a portion she had). However, much more importantly, my mother said she would give the oxtail meal 10 out of 10. She's yet to try the stewed chicken meal but perhaps I'll leave another review when she does.
Would highly recommend this business and it's meals.

A truly brilliant service!
We came across this service when looking for a solution for my elderly father’s meal provision. He is a diabetic, not very mobile 78yr old with dementia but still lives at home alone. Prior to finding Pat Blacks weekends were spent shopping & preparing meals for him. He likes Caribbean food and will not eat much else & due to his diabetes it is more important than ever that he does eat properly. Pat Black’s has gone above and beyond, delivering meals to the door and even putting them in the freezer and chatting to dad as he has done so. The meals themselves have rave reviews & my dad is happy and well fed! It has given me more time to spend with my dad when now more than ever I realise that time is precious ❤️

In addition good portion size and excellent value for money I would definitely recommend.

Was recommended to try the ready meals, as I live in an area which lacks in Jamaican food this option of ready meals is great.

I would highly recommend and defo going to purchase again
