I had placed my order on 5/4/20 with…

I had placed my order on 5/4/20 with the understanding that the 2 lounge chairs would be shipped within 3 - 5 business days.
By 5/22 (18 days later) I still did not receive the chairs.
I called Patio Depot and they told me they were sorry but the manufacturer was closed due to COVID quarantine.
There would be a delay in my receiving the order.
They should have informed me that I won't be receiving my order until June
sometime. I had to call twice to ask when I could expect them..
Poor customer service.

Purchased the cantilever model

Purchased the cantilever model, a 10 footer. Very attractive color(red). The fabric and ribs and pole were solid. Had to order the base separately, which was made up of four water-filled plastic units. The steel base support was light-weight metal, which came with the umbrella. The umbrella itself was sturdy. It is fairly wind at this site, and I attempted to replace a damaged piece Spare parts were unavailable. The vendor did replace the unit at a low cost. Unfortunately, I found it necessary to replace the unit with a non-cantilever unit. Of course, the cantilever was better for shade and provided shade for a large table. The one concern I had was that there were no instructions on how to set it up and use it when it arrived. I was able to get some on line from another provider, which were adequate. In terms of cost, I found that last October I got a large, non-cantilevered umbrella with an incredible discount (clearance), and bought a second one as a backup in case I needed spare parts. I just received a call from the folks at Patio Depot, who offered to replace the one from last year.....very nice of them. I may take them up on the offer, and gift it to my in-laws. BE SAFE, folks!!

Customer Service... ?

UPDATE: Patio Depot is under new management, and I got a call from a manager today (4.27.2020). He is working with me to move my warranty claim forward, and if it is denied to find a solution to the damaged chairs. I have updated my score from 1 to 3 stars based on that conversation. Once I have a resolution, I'll update again! *fingers crossed*

PREVIOUS REVIEW: (January 2020) I have attempted to call, email, and online chat multiple times, and get no response. I have sent emails to their warranty addresses, as well as the info@ address...nothing. I received beach chairs that became discolored within a couple weeks of purchase. Each warranty claim has gone unanswered. I've been trying for about 7 months.

TOTAL SCAM!!!

TOTAL SCAM!!!! Do not order from this site, you will lose your money. They do not answer the phone, emails bounce back and the 24/7 chat line is a joke as it gives an automated response that they are busy. Ordered chairs Dec 28 and got nothing, but ripped off.

I gave it one star only because I could…

I gave it one star only because I could not give it zero. I tried multiple time over multiple days to place an order. The website was having problems. I spoke with customer service who said they would call me and email me when the problem was resolved. I never heard from them. I tried the website a couple more times and finally gave up. My local Big Lots had Broyhill furniture in stock so I went there.

Well my husband has already posted but let me give you update. Talked to David on 12-27 and he said the mgr. of warehouse PROMISED our furniture would ship that day or Fri. David won't return my calls and still no response from anyone regarding a tracking number or if it has shipped. One of the WORST companies to deal with I have ever experienced. Sent an email also 12-27 and said I would get a response within 24hrs, well STILL NO RESPONSE!!!

Misleading and false!

Misleading and false description of umbrella.
Material faded within a few months. The offset umbrella was difficult to raise and lower. After a few uses the umbrella broke. It was after the 30-day guarantee. When we called about the 10-year warranty we had to pay $70 to have a new umbrella sent to us. Or we could send the broken umbrella back for a new one. Either way we are out $70 and our umbrella was only useful for a couple months. We are going to try one more time but if we get the same junky umbrella we will never use Patio Depot again.

Simply AWFUL

Simply AWFUL! I placed my order on September 6th and now it is September 29th and my items still have not been shipped out but my card was charged immediately. I have phoned twice and online chatted three times with everyone telling me they would get back to me an no one has. I am getting ready to file a complaint with the State Attorney General's office.

Company Canceled My Order

I placed an order for an outdoor dining table over labor day weekend. I received 2 confirmation emails, and the charge was accepted on my card. On Tuesday I noticed that there was a reimbursement for our charge on our credit card. I called to find out why this might have happened, and I was told that I had canceled my order. Knowing that I did not cancel my order, I let the rep know and I told them I was still interested in this purchase, but I wanted it at the price I had originally paid for it (great labor day sale price). The rep then told me that there was actually a system error, and that's why my order was canceled. She said she was going to place my order again, and speak with her supervisor to confirm that I could get it at the sale price. She told me that I should receive an email confirming my new purchase. I never received this, nor did I get another charge on my card. I think it's safe to assume that the rep did not replace my order, or at the least she wasn't able to honor the original price I bought it at and didn't let me know. I will not be purchasing (or rather attempting to purchase) from this company again.

I would never recommend anyone order…

I would never recommend anyone order from this company. Information on their website is inaccurate. I ordered a complete patio set that stated it was available and would be delivered within 10 days. 2 weeks went by and nothing- no email, no call, no confirmation, nothing! I had to call customer service, which was terrible! I got the run around about my order and had to chase them to figure out what was going on with my order. Finally after over a month, they sent me an incomplete set. Once again, I called over and over to figure out what was going with my missing coffee table. I was told it was on back order and would be sent out in another month. Radio silence again. Called in again (3 months later into now) only to be told they have no idea when or if ever, it will come in and Patio Depot will just issue a refund now. I would have never ordered a complete matching set, if I had known that not all the pieces would be guaranteed. Worst customer service I've experienced to date and I rarely ever write reviews.

Bait and Switch

Placed an order for 2 umbrellas. Card was charged. Next day, my card was refunded but was never contacted by Patio Depot. I contacted them and they informed me my order was cancelled because the price was wrong on their website for the umbrella I chose and told me that it would be double the price if I wanted the same umbrella. I went with a different company instead.

I ordered a patio dining set

I ordered a patio dining set. It was supposed to ship in 3-5 days. When I didn't receive an email telling me it had been shipped after a week had passed, I called them. I didn't speak to anyone. The message said the lines were busy and it took my name and number to call me back. I didn't receive a call by the next day so I called them again. Someone answered. She told me the note said her supervisor had called me earlier that day and left a message telling me the set was out of stock. Guess what, no message when I checked, plus they knew for a week they were out of stock and NEVER told me.
