I submitted an online enquiry in the evening and received a 'phone call from Karen at Patterson Law, the following morning. She was very helpful and gave me sound advice, which I really appreciated.

I am so glad I used Pattersons. I had never used a lawyer for such a thing before but they looked good so i gave it a try. It felt great to have someone on my side who really knew their stuff. I would never have thought of the things they suggested to mitigate me. My desired outcome was a very long shot but we gave it a very good go and even though I was unsuccessful, I was still very glad I had used this company, as I knew I had done everything possible. It felt good not to be alone fighting this over recent weeks and my contact Faith was wonderful, kind and sympathetic and helpful at all times. Highly recommended. Thank you Faith and colleagues. David

I spoke to karen who was professional, reassuring and clear in her explanation of the legal aspects. I could not have finished our conversation feeling anymore reassured of there expert knowledge and understanding of my situation and I'm 100% confident what ever the outcome it will be the best that was available to me.

I received excellent advice from Rachel Saunders, it was comprehensive and reassuring. All completely without charge.

Unlike other law firms that are after what's in your pockets before giving you a second of their time, this firm gave me a helpful and detailed response with no obligation and just advising on the best possible outcome for me. Thank you to Karen

Rachel explained the process very simply: “Pay us £1,320 and we’ll speak to the Crown to get the fail to provide driver details charge dropped if you plead guilty to the speeding.”
At no point did she explain that the two charges were laid in the alternative — a standard legal position made clear in the court’s own FAQs. In other words, if you plead guilty to the speeding offence, the fail to provide charge is automatically withdrawn by the court.
No negotiation required.
No special legal strategy.
What’s particularly disappointing is that the solicitor made no attempt to explore or even mention the possibility that this might be the case.
There was no discussion, no checking, and no transparency — just a flat statement of “this is what we’ll do and this is what it will cost you.”
For £1,320, I would expect clear legal advice, a proper explanation of all the options, and at least a basic understanding of how the courts actually process these kinds of cases.
Instead, what was offered was something the court does by default, packaged as a service.
This experience has left me feeling that the focus was on securing payment rather than providing genuine legal guidance.
My advice: read the court FAQs carefully before agreeing to pay a large fee. Understand what the process actually is. Don’t assume a solicitor will automatically explain it to you. Be cautious.

I needed some advice on a matter so contacted Pattersons. Karen replied within 12hrs with a clear, and very informative response. On this occasion, this was all the advice I required, but won't hesitate to use them again, and in fact, wish I'd got their advice on a pretty serious motoring matter I was involved in a few years ago. Might have saved me a fortune. Isn't hindsight a wonderful thing?

Couldn't ask for more...and it was FREE!
Would thoroughly recommend Patterson Law and R Saunders.

Vg responsiveness and judgement of how to approach Court. Clearly have experience of
Driving offences. Lawyer Sharn was outstanding, excellent briefing and smart actions with Court short-circuited Prosecution case which was inherently flawed.
