I have a few rental properties, so know the struggle at times to find the right tenants. Dealing with Pattinson from start to completion was a pleasure. Would definitely recommend.

Those people scammers and the don’t sell they just fraud, they had my flat for over a year but they failed to sell it they have no buyers, they harass the customers to pay them fees for nothing, do not use this company.

Fiona was at our first viewing of the home we were looking at to rent. She was super friendly and attentive towards us. After agreeing to rent Elouise then stepped in to help with our referencing and sent all of our forms that we needed. After a small amount of difficultly (on our end) Elouise helped us to speed the process along by giving us alternate routes to get to what we needed. We had only viewed the home on February 9th and we were able to collect the keys February 28th. Pattinsons and our landlord were super helpful this way as we were eager to move since we are expecting in May so wanted to move asap.
I would highly recommend Pattinsons to anyone looking to rent a property. This is my first time renting/buying and it was a breeze with no stress!

Good customer service, Good communication process and easy process

The worst company. Seems their ethos is do the least amount possible and lie your way out of every attempt at accountability.

What made my experience great was the patience and kindness shown to me when dealing with the sale of my family home after the death of my mother. The time taken to explain options for sale
and the hands on help with presenting the property and undertaking viewings was really reassuring. The regular communication and person centred approach really stood out for me and I was made to feel more than just a customer. Thank you Michael and Caitlin so much for your support. I am pleased with the outcome and feel happy my childhood home is starting a new chapter in its story. Would highly recommend Pattinsons.

good advice re rental value of the property..acting quickly when I requested them to do so. pleased. theya re long-time Agents for me,so I know them well!
How can you lose £2.5k when buying a house, easy if you purchase through Patterson Auction house.
In my case I purchased a property in Morpeth Northumberland in October 24 via Paterson Auctions, whether they know it or not they are facilitating unscrupulous sellers to hide bad debts through Paterson's poor terms and conditions and inept in-house solicitors .
On the fall of the hammer you pay your deposit and not insignificant auction fees and by doing so commit to completing the sale within 28 days (all good so far)
The trouble begins when your solicitor tries to communicate with the sellers solicitor ,who is supplied by Patterson's to discuss the terms including conformation of any money owed on the property they refuse to answer any questions and say you bought at auction look in the legal pack. Well of course nothing mentioned in legal pack about bad debts racked up by the Dodgy seller.
So you have to take a chance and complete anyway risking a massive debt bestowed upon you,as the debt goes with the property not the person ( unpaid service charges) alternatively walk away lose your deposit and auction fees and risk Paterson's suing you for breaching your 28 day contract .
I continued with the purchase reassured by Mr Ian Weatherhead of Paterson's that all service charges would be paid up to the end of October 24 four months have passed and they don't respond to my phone calls and no reimbursement of my lose.
As I say I consider myself lucky to have only lost £2533 as could have been any amount of money.
As a retired police officer I feel it my duty to warn the world and his wife of my experience of Patterson's, in the hope I can help other unsuspecting customers of Patterson's avoid losing their hard earned money and grateful trust pilot are here to highlite at best bad practice.
Edit after response. They have had all the details again and again no action just trying to make themselves look like a reputable company to people checking out the reviews . Can't help but wonder how many others have been scammed this way

We had a highly disappointing experience trying to sell a property through Pattinsons Auctions. Pattinsons engage in what is commonly known as shill bidding—placing artificial bids to make the auction appear more active and push prices closer to or above the reserve. While this practice is legal if all parties are informed, we were never told about it as sellers. While buyers may find this information buried in small print, Pattinsons do not make it clear on their live auction platform or prominently on their website, or within the sellers contract.
Both buyers and sellers should be extremely cautious. If you have expressed interest in a property but haven’t bid, Pattinsons will likely introduce artificial bids up to £2,500 below the reserve price to create the illusion of demand.
Shill bidding really should be illegal, as it is on many platforms like eBay. We would never have agreed to this practice had we been aware of it, and would never have used their service. If their auction platform truly had strong buyer demand, such tactics should not be necessary. Despite over 30 viewings, we received zero bids, which suggests that potential buyers were put off by either the auction process or high buyer fees (~5%). Never again.

They talk a lot about how customer focused they are but I don't think renters are classified as customers by Pattinsons - it was clear from our experience they favour the owners/landlords
We had a poor experience and if we have to rent again would actively look to avoid
Pattinsons

I bought a Pattinson property by auction, first time ever. Sheila Brannen at West branch was very responsive from the start and helpful, showing my 2nd viewing and advised on the price the seller would I accept. I won the auction by offering a higher bid, the seller accepted and the auction stopped, as I'd been advised by Oliver at Pattinson. After that everything went haywire, with only 28 days to complete. Pattinson were very supportive. Their Auction Team was helpful for sounding and advice. Later the Sale Progression Team, especially Kate, gave reassuring clarification on the end of the phone when the lawyers were incommunicado. She could see progression of the seller and their lawyers' side, which was really helpful. I would thoroughly recommend Pattinson, they are brilliantly set up for customer support throughout the process. Sheila Brannen even helped to tie up loose ends after the sale, like kindly getting the missing window keys from the seller. Thank you all!

Pattinsons, specifically Nicola and then Eloise, have been great to deal with. They have kept me informed through the process. I now have a lovely home to move into.

Pattinsons we're very enthusiastic from day one. HOWEVER, from the day of sale, communication between their own Solicitors, myself and the buyers Solicitors broke down. My property was actually exchanged 2 months later than promised, whi h cost me 1000 pounds in extra council tax.
Use your own Solicitor if you are using this company. Gordon Brown are not recommended by me
