I'm very disappointed with the handling of this issue. I collected the property key on the 4th april 25 and completed my inventory, during which I noticed the boiler/gas system wasn't working. Despite emailing, I received no positive response and had to follow up with a call. It's now been 13 days without gas or heating — and I have a toddler. I was advised to contact Northern Gas Networks myself. Fortunately, a contractor arrived within 30 minutes and confirmed an internal pipe leak. The report has been forwarded to the maintenance team — I sincerely hope this is resolved urgently.

They found us a tenant quickly and did all the necessary background checks. They collected the first rent and deposit and transferred the funds to us very promptly

They lack professionalism and accuracy with important dates and information. Seem to be interested in making as much money as possible through third party referrals. Their communication is through multiple different departments. Not one point of contact. As a landlord I will not use them again. They will favour the tenants needs over yours.

Recently moved into rented property, few days later the combi boiler started to drop pressure gradually i reported it over 3 weeks ago. A week and a half ago i had to top it up every hour, The boiler is up in the loft so this meas climbing up the ladder at 60 years of age, now it's every 40 minutes or if i need to get washed of wash dishes i have to climb into the loft to re-pressure the boiler. This week through the night The outside temperature is -2 degrees i sent many emails and made lots of calls to get someone to come out. Someone did come out a week and a half ago spent 30 seconds looking at the boiler, told me he needs to get a part, not seen him since. I heard today he is away on holiday. I continue to email. Today i got an email saying " making complaints after hours doesn't help anyone" maybe tonight when I'm just about in tears again because I'm so cold I'll try not to complain!

If I could give them a minus I would....... I was sold that they allow the landlord to put items into the tenancy which I spent many hours arguing with them about! they send their maint team in without our say so - very cross! had emails from 5 different members of staff in on day even though they promised me I would have one point of contact. I asked for a copy of the inventory and they assured me i would be given one to check but now told i will get a copy when the tenant has oked it - er wait minute its my property!! i also asked for a copy of the tenancy agreement before the tenant signed it and this did not happen and i only saw it after it had been signed. sold a dud will not be using them again once this tenant leaves. also had not money from them and its 10 days since the tenant paid!! very upset they 'sold' me this perfect service which is not at all what they said - they are liars.

The staff were so rude at cramlington branch. very unhelpful . refusing to contact solicitors , sellers/buyers.
the entire process was extra stressful due to their poor service. I will never have any contact with them again.

Washington branch are terrible. They don’t respond to emails. Don’t return calls. Even when I went in they promised someone would get back to me and 3 weeks later nothing.
Told me they had two clients wanting a house in the road I was selling in. 6 months later one viewing but many promises saying yes those people were still interested they just needed to chase them.
Promised accompanied viewings as the house has Tenants but this didn’t happen. Arranged someone to view who then didn’t turn up. When I called the girl in the phone said ‘oh yeah they cancelled last week. Did no one one tell you’. They hadn’t.
Listed the house with the wrong postcode. Told me they would use the current EPC only when I looked it said not supplied and after 3 calls they finally said it had expired then wanted to charge me twice as much as I actually paid to get one done.
House wasn't listed on any of the advertising sites and is hard to even find on there’s.

I used Pattinsons recently to sell my property & was initially happy with the service. However, I signed up to the “all inclusive” solicitors package which was an additional £600 on top of the fee. I was told there would be a few “small disbursements” on top of that charged by the solicitors. I had a solicitor assigned to me who was based in Peterborough. This was a surprise as I thought they would be more local to the north east. Things started ok but towards the end of the sale, things started to go wrong. The solicitor made mistakes & tried to charge me an additional £200 for something. She then unexpectedly went on leave without letting me know just prior to completion & I had to have another solicitor assigned to my case last minute. This was a simple, straightforward sale - no chain, cash buyer & the “few small disbursements” turned out to be an additional £1000! I was horrified. I complained to Pattinsons that they had misled me on the all inclusivity part of the deal & that they should have done due diligence on what they were selling. Then without any consultation or contact, they removed the all inclusive package from my bill & transferred all the charges for the conveyancing to the solicitors which was actually more expensive & I was charged a total of £1623. I never received any sort of apology or contact from Pattinsons regarding this. The only good part of the service from Pattinsons was whenever I rang them & spoke to one of the ladies in the office, they were always very helpful & pleasant. However, overall I would not use Pattinsons again & would certainly avoid the so called all inclusive solicitors package.

Proceed with caution. This company is far from professional. Their sales team mislead you. Their auction coordinator is rude and just doesn’t listen, but instead continues to interrupt you mid sentence when speaking to him. Their marketing is extremely poor. They fail to acknowledge emails. All in all an extremely poor company to deal with.

They refused to return the rental deposit of £650 which was held in a deposit scheme and never informed me the tenant) that I wasn't getting it returned as it was used for fees to re advertise the property which landlord is responsible for even though I had permission to end the tenancy agreement early due to property becoming unsuitable for my disability needs.
Repairs were asked for and were always refused or cancelled by the landlord and even when the TV aerial fell of the roof in a storm in January it was still dangling when I vacated the property.

Recently found a tenant for my property, told me it was a middle age working family with a home owner guarantor. They then decided they didn’t need a guarantor and added an 18 year old on the tenancy agreement, both without consulting me first. Complained and was basically told nothing they would do and suggested I take out rent insurance if I was concerned.
