Pattinson Auction have been great to deal with on the whole. I would specifically like to mention Adam Stewart who has been an absolute star. Always there to support us through to and even after completion. I really can't thank him enough for his continued help and effort. He's someone with a great work ethic and work ethics.

Mr Adam Stewart is a phenomenal auction broker and he found few opportunities for me which were good opportunities, if you want to buy in London at auction please speak to the best auction broker in London

I have found Pattinsons to be a good company in general, but specifically Adam Stewart from the London office has been fantastic.

Incredibly helpful and informative and easy to work with.

Overall he take a lot of stress out of the buying process and he acts as a great go between ,between buyer and seller.

Had a very pleasant experience in dealing with the Jarrow office. From start to finish the professionalism shown was outstanding. We didn't help as we were living over 300miles away but any questions we had were answered very quickly. Would seriously recommend using this branch, very welcoming and accommodating. Cannot single out an individual member of staff as they ALL played their part.

This is the horrible auction house, I stil did not receive any keys for the property. They provided very misleading information saying there is no outstanding service charge, only to find out that nothing has been paid for the last 1,5 years. They passed to their own solicitors teams who just acted and charged whatever they want. Lawyers fees constantly changed. No call backs , rude on the phone .. and extremely expensive to buy from them.They charged 6900 for auction house and 5000 for lawyers ( seller and buyer) Overpaayed 11k for nothing.Stay away. THEY SCAM PEOPLE by constantly changing conditions.They don't keep their words.

Appointed Morpeth branch to find new tenants for our rental property. First issue was visiting the property to see a FOR SALE sign outside!
A tenant was found quickly and all seemed well, however as I was going on holiday I emailed and personally attended the shop to give instructions as to how the tenant would access the property (a meet and greet with my son). I received an email saying contract was being prepared- no details of move in date. Imagine horror 5 days later when gentleman phoned me and said 'I've just moved into your house, where are the meters?'! Total lack of communication from all concerned and they had just handed him the keys - totally against my instructions. Took 2 hours and a follow up call for someone to ring me back. Poor communication all round.

The worst auction house to ever deal with .. no call backs , rude on the phone .. and extremely expensive to buy from .

Don’t bother replying , as your emails are all automated and your staff are all rude anyways .. so there’s never any resolution.. I’ll use another auction house

Also fantastic service from Jess at Auctions who went above and beyond to find out information for me and keep me updated.

Pattinsons in Cramlington have been renting out my property for almost 18 months I have found them nothing but friendly and professional. They have dealt with any issues that have arisen swiftly and at no point have I felt like I was being taken advantage of if work was required. It has been a great experience so far and long may it continue...

Recently bought a house via the auction method, the Auction team lead by Iain and the fantastic help from John, Lindsay and Sharon from the Whitley Bay branch certainly made the process simple and stress free, highly recommend Keith Pattinson, the staff make all the difference.

This estate agent based in Houghton-le-Spring are selling our neighbours property, but the agents accompanying the potential buyers are not watching the buyers that are trespassing on our property but not being told not to trespass, on contacting Keith Pattinson the owner of the estate agents has blatantly ignored our emails and concerns.

All they care about is money, it's a business and unfortunately not a transparent one.

1. They bid by themselves, countless of auctions I have bid on, and a day after another bid comes in and then the auction ends, and they try to contact you to close the sale, based on the second bidding price. Then the property gets re-listed.+5 properties now.

2. Don't trust the agents on the phone, they make out they will try close the deal for you, but really they only care about their profits.

3. Super sneaky behaviour, make you place a bid and confirm they will close a sale, and then get back to you and say someone bid on top.

4. Watch out for their fees. Instead of just stating them, they are deep in the general conditions.

From beginning to end Pattinsons Jarrow, all of the team but, Dean has been absolutely outstanding. Answered all my stupid niggles and queries, signposting as well.
Jason and the ladies all should be proud.
A home from home

They sold our property which is why this is a 2 star review but it was painful, with significant issues and delays caused by the panel solicitor that they recommended to our buyer. Don’t believe the rubbish sales spiel about receiving an enhanced service if you go with their panel firm. The only beneficiary is Pattison’s who receive a referral fee.

It was a stark contrast to the estate agent involved on our related purchase who was excellent throughout.

I wouldn't use them to sell again and I certainly wouldn’t recommend using their panel solicitors or other associated firms.

Amazing. We accepted an offer for the full asking price in less than 24 hours from the listing going live. Pattinsons were very proactive and knew exactly the right buyers to call who were looking for what we had to sell.

The whole Blyth team were very helpful and professional throughout the selling process, and we can't thank them enough for their excellent service.

My experience with Pattinsons has been very poor. I am writing this review to urge caution if you are considering their services.
Whilst they were quick to get the property to market, everything thereafter has been very disappointing. Little proactivity to generate viewings, little evidence of a marketing strategy, poor quality photos and representation. I have been requesting to cancel the auction process for over a month and my emails are being ignored. I am however still getting texts asking me to keep lowering the price. All in all, not a good company to do business with. I have now gone back to an Estate Agent.

Awful company for lettings. Rude staff. Don’t listen. After renting a property for over 4 years I had to chase them for my deposit. Didn’t seem to grasp that I can’t be home to let people in to do inspections when I’m at work and said I was inflexible. Property didn’t even get a lick of paint in over 4 years. Emails ignored. Would not recommend.
