Fantastic company to deal with, it has been a pleasure to deal with Paul Meakin team right from our first meeting regarding the sale of our property. They have been friendly, honest, efficient, they have always been there to answer our questions and, have made us comfortable at every stage of the process.
All staff are 100% dedicated along with the total understanding of your expectations, the end result makes you feel they are not only business people but also people who care. We would definitely recommend this estate agency as they go out of their way to get results for their clients.

I needed to sell my family home that held 60+ years of memories and from the start I had the professionalism of Sam who gave me very sound advice whilst understanding that there were emotional ties involved for me and was sensitive to this. Very quickly there were a number of prospective buyers. When I had accepted an offer Gill worked tirelessly to see through the process for me and the buyers. There were some unforeseen matters to solve and the communication was excellent from Gill which enabled us to conclude things as soon as possible. The team are friendly and very pleasant to deal with. I highly recommend them.

Allison and Aimee who support the rental side of the business were always friendly, professional and easy to contact.
They efficently undertook credit referencing, accompanied me to inspect the property, drafted and got signed the new tenancy agreement and undertook the collection and logging for the deposit scheme. They had up to date knowledge of the legal requirements, were always constructive, got things done promptly and did it all with a smile.
I highly recommend them.

The service of Meakin’s is truly outstanding. From the first meeting, where my elderly relative felt listened to and reassured, to the final stages of completion, the whole team were exceptional. They all share that customer focused DNA, so speaking to someone who can assist is easy. This helped as we had a few unforeseen issues but their advice was always spot on and delivered with courtesy and professionalism.

I’m usually no fanboy of estate agents but both myself and my mother in law, got to experience how things should run when you have a knowledgeable and professional team behind you. It was a bonus to have them handle the sale of the old property and the purchase of the new.

Really thought we would never find the perfect home, however during our very long search all the staff at Paul Meakin showed professionalism,patience & understanding and a genuine desire to support us throughout. Once we found the perfect home Paul Meakin in only a few days Sold our property to a perfect buyer, I would highly recommend this independent agent who works for you and not just interested in hitting targets as the corporate agents, I believe this company is truly customer focused and puts the customer first.

Was a tenant to a Paul Meakin managed property for a year and a half; during this time the communication between myself and the landlord was extremely difficult with the estate agents just forwarding emails back and forth rather than supporting either party and sometimes not flagging important messages and often slow replies. This then carried on with leaving the property with them unfairly withholding the full deposit without supporting evidence; when we tried to negiotiate a proportion of the deposit back they did not respond in a helpful way - this was disputed with the Tenancy Deposit Scheme in which the majority of the deposit was returned.

Overall found the experience poor and would not rent another property if it was managed by Paul Meakin.

Sam from Paul Meakin was absolutely amazing! Selling and buying my house was a complicated process (not because of Paul Meakin but because of external companies) and Sam worked tirelessly throughout the whole process to take the pressure off me.
