Awesome devices, great customer service

I have recently contacted PAX Support Team as my PAX 3, purchased in November 2017, began to malfunction (issues with charging and switching on/off). The Support Team was polite, prompt and, above all, helpful. After a brief exchange of emails, my case has been quickly dealt with. To top everything up and to my pleasant surprise, as a replacement I was sent PAX Plus which is the newer model. PAX not only does one of the best conductive vaporisers but, as described above, is very good on honouring their 10-year warranty. Thank you!

Bought Pax Mini May 2023 NEVER WORKED-Awful Service

Bought Pax Mini last May 2023. Unit would not create any smoke, tried all FAQ from Pax and would not work. Emailed PAX for service, they asked me to video while of me using product, video of packing the buds in the oven, video taking the drag. After sending video, they said there is nothing wrong with the product because their LED light did not indicate a malfunction. I have a $150 + tax paperweight. I asked to send the product in so they can determine if broken, and they would not allow me to send it in even at my own expense. PAX is absolutely the worse company in this space. Awful and stressful to deal with their "customer service". All they do is politely apologize and basically blame the customer for defects in their product. Warranty is 4 years and mine never worked despite literally 10-plus emails begging them to take the product back. Do yourself a favor and avoid this company by all means.

Abysmal customer service

Abysmal customer service. Got an ERA LIFE battery, after fully charging the device, within 4 draws it would show low battery. The battery would show fully charged as I plugged it back in immediately. Every time i reached out to customer service they would refer me to the FAQ page. Just a lazy company really.

Don’t bother

Honestly, terrible customer service and policies. My device broke within months of purchase, they sent me a different colour as replacement which is intensely disappointing considering most of the appeal of PAX is the aesthetic, and I’m now left with a device I don’t like. They wouldn’t even replace the mouthpiece, I was only sent the oven and so now have a mismatched set. They suggested I buy a silicone sleeve to hide the colour, which is baffling to essentially ask me to spend more money. Through the whole of my interaction with customer support, they have given me incorrect, unconsidered and conflicting responses. Wish I’d never bought the device in the first place. Don’t bother.

I purchased the pax 3 color black

I purchased the pax 3 color black, within 6 month’s the finish started wearing off around the mouthpiece and around the oven chamber.
I immediately contacted pax customers service and was first told warranty does not cover accidental damages. So I contacted them again and was told warranty does not cover cosmetic issues.
I’m beyond disappointed. I had purchased a pax 2 years ago that still works and so issues with paint wearing off.
Pax has the worst customer service and is no longer manufactured in sf ca USA

Do not recommend!!
I bought a pax plus device from their official website six months ago, hoping to enjoy its advertised features and benefits. However, I was very disappointed and frustrated by the product and the company. The device had a defective battery that would not hold a charge for more than an hour, and it also started to swell up dangerously after a few weeks of use. I contacted their customer support multiple times, but I never received a reply or a solution. Their website is also broken and does not work for queries or customer support. I feel like I have been scammed and cheated by this company, and I am considering taking legal action to get my money back. This is the worst purchase I have ever made, and I strongly advise anyone to avoid this product and this company at all costs. They are dishonest, irresponsible and unprofessional.

Avoid purchasing directly through their site.

Terrible customer service. I bought a vaporizer over 3 weeks ago and I haven’t received it. I understood they have a different shipping system but what is upsetting is that they don’t give you updates unless you ask for them and the answers they give you aren’t clear. The last they told me is they will investigate where the package is and it will take another 10 days and thank you for your patience. By then it will have been a month and I still have no product. It is irritating because I wouldn’t have known any of this if I hadn’t asked.
They should improve their customer service and provide more clear information and updates instead of just thanking the customer for their patience. They should offer solutions and try to fulfill their orders much sooner especially when their products are pricey. They should hire a different shipping company that actually shows tracking updates at least.
I highly recommended not shopping from their site.

I ordered a Pax Plus and it came faulty…

I ordered a Pax Plus and it came faulty without the advertised haptic feedback working. I emailed support and they helped me redeem my warranty and wanted me to send only the vaporizer "oven" back without any accessories. The problem is they sent me back a different color than what I originally ordered so it doesn't match any of my accessories that came with the original. They claimed it was a "supply issue" which is BS considering I could just order a new one at any time I like with the color I actually want. The support team is useless, extremely by the books, and won't work with you at all to satisfy you.

Warranty Not Honored

I purchased the Pax Era Pro...it stopped working after 5 months...I tried 5 different pods (I also verified this pods worked in another Pax Device), I adjusted settings, I uninstalled the app and unpaired the device. It would produce vapor 1x and then stop. It also would cycle between blue and purple lights. I reached out to customer support and after weeks of troubleshooting they were of no help and would not honor their warranty. They determined I was sucking too hard from a video I sent, despite me having been through surgery and barely sucking due to my wounds. I would not buy this product or any products from Pax based on the fact they do not honor their warranties and their customer service's responses are merely talking points that don't offer any real concern or help, just a mere "reach out when you want to try again"

The pax 3 is a well engineered piece with some downsides

1 you have to have location on all the time on your phone when you use the app
2 you can't take it into direct sunlight, so no vaping outside in the day
3 you can't open the oven when its hot
4 you can't charge it when its hot

Great warranty though

My fiancée has so many different…

My fiancée has so many different vaporizers in the house, all top of the line, many cost 1k and I'd say she loves her PAX vaporizers the best, I just counted and she has 8 of the same model in constant rotation. I had to write a review due to how amazing the warranty is with this company, every time the battery goes or a PAX dies they send her a new one. They definitely have a customer for life with her. I would highly recommend this company.

Device arrived broken

Device arrived broken, took ages for Pax to respond, tried everything to get out of refund, eventually the seller refunded me after me suggesting I review them online, Pax kept refusing any refund or replacement, they commonly break, do your research!

Do they still make devices?

Had a pax 1 years ago and remember it being a solid device. Tried buying a new one twice in the last year and both times it’s just never been delivered (month waiting each time). If you want one of their devices DO NOT ORDER DIRECT FROM THEM.

Shockingly disappointing device

Shockingly disappointing device. Bought PAX plus 2 Months ago & still can’t get it to produce much vapor. I can’t get high! I “sip, not rip” follow all the suggestions, reached out multiple times (customer service is not bad, just lags a little sometimes) they’ve given advice but the thing hardly gives any hits- it’s super frustrating!! After seeing many horrible reviews, I am sad I trusted “best vape out there” when in reality I can’t get even a buzz & just keep sipping till I’m dizzy. The issue is it burns through much more weed!! It only hits the first time used after a fresh bowl is packed. Never again the second time. Once u turn it off, that’s it. U need to repack. So basically, u r repacking and cleaning it every single time u want to smoke. That is insane. It’s way more work than a pipe or bubbler or bong and u don’t even get very buzzed… it does feel good when u get a little hit, the hit is actually pretty decent feeling- just not enough. Def not what I was looking for… instead of getting rid of all my other smoking devices & just using PAX, I am back to disposable vapes, gummies, bongs & bubblers bc at least they work & don't waste weed. Ugh.

What a great company

What a great company! Support were outstanding and went above and beyond, albeit after a slow start to communication, which included me forgetting about it for week, and were warm and friendly in their correspondence.
The Pax is an incredible little machine which when used correctly, which in my experience involved some patience. How much you fill, how tightly to pack based on each strain and your mood, what temperature for each strain also in my own experience varied to a certain extent. All of which is really easy to explore through trial an error (the fun way) with any extra help readily accessible online, if you’re reading this you obviously know where to find it.
Without a doubt the most impressive thing is that fact that Pax’s come with a ten year warranty! Not one single other electronic device in my home has that, why? And most of them don’t get half the use, on, off, charge, clean, all the time for ten years, come on now, what else do you want? A spaceship?
In summary: I love my Pax and found support to be warm, friendly and incredibly helpful.

I gave them 265 dollars and it’s been 4…

I gave them 265 dollars and it’s been 4 weeks with nothing being shipped to me. Better yet they don’t have a phone number (I can imagine why when you are stealing) and they stopped responding to my emails or new tickets submitted. They blamed the “warehouse” for the issue with no other explanation. They won’t refund money but told me how to return the product for a refund…. Return a product they never sent if you can believe that.

Update: after 32 days and no explanation or product mailed they have decided that they will refund me. I said I did not want a refund the entire time but here we are. I guess I’ll have to buy from a 3rd party as they seem to be better at selling products than pax themselves. Embarrassing.
