Absolutely shocking experience with Zilch from start to finish. I never thought I would end up having to submit a court claim over something that should have been resolved properly years ago.
Zilch should have removed a negative marker from my credit file around 2 years ago, yet despite countless promises and assurances, nothing was ever properly resolved. I was repeatedly told the marker would be removed, only for weeks and months to pass with absolutely no action taken. Being given false promises over such a serious matter that directly impacts someone’s credit file is completely unacceptable.
To make matters even worse, Zilch offered me compensation on 2 separate occasions as a “goodwill gesture” due to the way this situation had been handled. However, both compensation payments were delayed and then seemingly ignored altogether. After being told they wanted to put things right, communication suddenly stopped and I was left chasing them yet again for answers.
The lack of professionalism, accountability, and customer care has honestly been unbelievable. I have given Zilch countless opportunities to resolve this matter without escalation. I remained patient for far longer than I should have, but every promise made has either been delayed, ignored, or not honoured.
This entire situation has caused unnecessary stress and frustration over a prolonged period of time, all because a company failed to correct something they should have dealt with years ago. No customer should have to repeatedly chase a financial company just to have inaccurate information corrected on their credit file.
At this stage, I have been left with no other choice but to pursue legal action and submit a court claim due to the ongoing failures and lack of resolution.
I would strongly advise people to think carefully before using Zilch. My experience has been extremely disappointing and exhausting from beginning to end.
If this matter gets resolved.
I'll be happy to take this review off.
If not, then i'll update this review once my court claim has been completed

I recently encountered a baffling and concerning issue with Zilch’s customer service. I made a purchase at an Esso petrol station using Zilch, which was confirmed. However, Zilch's internal records incorrectly flagged the transaction as being at a Shell station.
Despite providing clear, undeniable evidence—including the official receipt and the physical address of the station—Zilch’s support team refused to correct the error. The CS representative even admitted they understood it was an Esso station, yet insisted that because their system says "Shell," then "Shell" it is.
For a financial institution to operate based on "internal records" rather than verified facts is incredibly dangerous. It shows a complete lack of accountability and a refusal to fix known system errors, even when presented with proof. Their logic seems to be: "Our data is never wrong, even when it is."
This experience has completely eroded my confidence in Zilch. If they cannot get a simple merchant name right, how can they be trusted with more complex financial matters? Extremely disappointed that they would rather blame the customer and ignore reality than update their database.

Very easy to use and payments are flexible and stress free. The only thing i woyld comment on, it would be great if you were able to transfer balance to your accounts.

This company is good. Especially in desperate times

Does what it’s advertised as, and for me a way to buy over a few weeks, with a poor credit score

Issue with adding a new debit card. I had lost my previous card and added a new one. It was very embarrassing trying to pay for it on the app. I won’t be using it in a hurry
