Absolutely tragic ordering system
Absolutely tragic ordering system! After ordering a gift of aftershave for Christmas on December 6th and twice asking where my order is, I’ve been told by Customer Servucez they can’t cope with demand and are ‘manually verifying each order in case of fraud’. They are unable to tell me when I will receive my order. The only fraud here is Peacock Bazaar taking money and not sending my ordered goods. I will now have to go to a store and hope I can onward post my gift to arrive pre-Christmas. DO NOT USE THEM!

As with all the other reviews (which I wish I would have read prior to purchasing an item with them) I ordered a product at the end of November. After numerous emails chasing them up they finally confirmed that three weeks later the item still has not been dispatched. They cite this is due to staff shortages. Whilst I understand their difficulties. A lack of adequate staff during the busiest time of the year and being unable to fulfil orders in a reasonable timeframe is ridiculous. Waiting three weeks for an item to even be dispatched is unacceptable and poor. There is a lack of communication and a generic email response received to every email sent. Despite me asking to make a complaint and for a refund. This request was ignored. I would never use this company again and caution other consumers from doing so!

Delayed delivery false promises
I ordered a gift set on November 27th. I wanted this for a birthday present 9th December.
Never arrived despite numerous emails. Still waiting and have asked for a refund unless sent today. 16th December now. Unlikely to arrive by Christmas now as they say its sent by royal mail, last delivery is 18th for christmas. They will inform me when its despatched.

Appalling service. Cannot confirm a despatch date, a delivery date or anything at all really. The second i requested that my order is cancelled and refunded they stopped responding to my emails. I have requested a refund three times and radio silence. I can see I am going to have a battle on my hand to even get my own money back. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY.

I ordered a perfume on 5th December. Since then I had received no update in regards to the whereabouts of my order. When I chased customer service on 15th December I was told that they are unable to provide a date for dispatch. I'm very disappointed as this was a Christmas gift and will not be received in time. I will have to purchase another gift now which defeats the whole point of the saving you make on the purchase price. Only gave it 2 stars because customer service actually responded.
Delayed Delivery
Same issue as many have commented on re delivery. Been waiting almost 3 weeks and company still have no idea when my order will arrive. Wish I had looked at reviews before placing order; but more importantly Peacock-Bazarre should be upfront about delivery time frame so customers know what to expect which might limit poor reviews.

Ordered perfume at the end of November so that there was plenty of time to arrive before Christmas. Still hadn't been picked by the 13th December and even after contacting them 3 times to get a likely pick date, they said that they couldn't give a pick date. Refund issued after I cancelled the order - hence 2 stars. Shame that they are in such disarray at this time of year.

Far too long to wait
I ordered perfume on 22.11.24. I understood from reviews it may take a bit longer but will arrive. As yet I have not received my order. Bearing in mind it is Christmas and things will possibly take longer to arrive. I have had the usual prompt email responses about delays but I don't think it's good enough to have to wait all this time. My fault I suppose for wanting to buy the perfume at the cheapest price. Ive learnt my lesson and won't get stung again.

I guess the questions are
A:why are you still taking orders when you’ve clearly got problems with the orders you already have ?
B: why are you selling stock if you don’t have it ?
C:why would you leave your customers to contact you instead of you contacting them ?
D: if them issues your having really do exist, why is their no warning on your website and why do you make people believe it’s a free 48hr tracked delivery service?
I’d encourage people having the same issues with this firm is to go on to citizens advice website and go to the trading standards section, theirs a link to an online form which doesn’t take long to fill out . Also if you’ve paid through Klarna, start a complaint because this shouldn’t be a trusted firm .

If I could I would have given no stars. I placed an order on Black Friday enticed by the discount and the guarantee that orders would be received in time for Christmas. After waiting 2 weeks after purchasing and receiving no notification of dispatch l contacted their customer service querying where my order was, to which my order was immediately cancelled presumably as they were unable to fulfil my order. I now have to reorder elsewhere while missing out on a Black Friday deal and waiting for my money to be refunded! Do not order from these people, they take your money and do not fulfil their obligation.
