Peacock Bazaar - Buyers Beware!

Share the views of many...What an absolute nightmare to deal with.
Ordered on 30th November and despite my making several enquiries, I keep receiving wordy e-mails about why they're unable to fulfil my order just yet.
They've consistently told me about high levels of fraud, their staff shortages and over demand on their services but haven't answered my questions.
I'm unsure if they're actually going to be able to supply my order, let alone in time for Christmas; I'm really frustrated by my dealings with them and I couldn't recommend them.
I sincerely wish I'd read the reviews before taking advantage of seemingly great bargains.

Item still not delivered after 3 weeks…

Item still not delivered after 3 weeks of waiting. Standard template response when emailing to chase up the order, full of excuses. Don’t state 5-7 days delivery if you can’t fulfil it!! Make sure to pay with PayPal or similar so you can get a refund when your purchase doesn’t arrive.

Terrible customer service, AI?

The company gave me an estimated delivery date when paying for the product and once you have made the purchase you hear nothing from the company, I emailed to ask where my order was and they said they can’t give me an estimated delivery date and that my order still hasn’t been dispatched nearly 3 weeks later. I asked for a refund as I need the item for a particular date and I got the same generic email back word for word as I did initially after I emailed & my refund request was completely ignored. Very Disappointing.
The company only acknowledged my refund request after I posted this review.

Careful as no guarantees for Xmas delivery for order placed in Nov!!

I placed an order for a Xmas present for my husband on 30th Nov. I hadn’t received any update by today (9th Dec) so I chased it. Peacock has just advised that they don’t know when my order will be delivered and will not guarantee that it will arrive in time for Xmas.

Further update - I chased my order again yesterday 19th Dec) and received a response that my order has been cancelled and they will refund me. I wonder what would have happened if I didn’t chase it. I’m beyond disappointed as I’m left with no Xmas present so far for my husband, despite being super organised and placing the order in November originally. In addition I’ve now lost out on other Black Friday discounts for the same product and so it will cost me a lot more to purchase elsewhere. I’m gutted and will never purchase from Peacocks again.

2 WEEKS and my order has still not been dispatched

It has been almost 2 weeks since I placed my order#14688 and it still has not been dispatched. Contacted customer service but received more excuses (high volume of orders, increase in fraudulent activity, low stock levels, etc...) rather than any help in trying to speed up the processing of my order.
Disappointing!!!!

Excuses excuses that's all you get but…

Excuses excuses that's all you get but no perfume, I told them perfume this week or cancel order if they did not do this I would get onto credit card provider and get money back of them.
They answered they had cancelled order, so I hope I get money back very soon.
So wasted 2 weeks what a shit company.

Update to my last review it's know been 15 days still no delivery not even a dispatch date. Only communication is me emailing them but still won't give a valid answer my bank told me they received the payment and it was in there account by the 3rd day cleared by 5th day so why hasn't my order been dispatched I will be contacting trade in standards bcz this is false information I've waited 15 days. They even answered my question on another review saying we dispatch within 5/7 days clearly NOT ....Order #14617

Customer Beware! Avoid at all costs!!!

Not good!

Not good!

Shame I hadn't looked at any reviews!
Placed an order (#13982) on the 21st November. Not even been despatched. Chased today to receive a long winded standard response everyone seems to be getting.
"We're getting lots of orders, don't have staff on the Warehouse..." Etc etc.

I then didn't get an estimation on when it would be despatchedml. Just that they'll get to it when they'll get to it.

A real shame.

May have to place another order elsewhere to ensure I'll get what I was hoping to get in time for Christmas.

I would give zero stars if it were an option.

I would give zero stars but it’s not an option .
Ordered something for a gift for a birthday , shame I didn’t read the reviews first .
How on earth can it be Ok to wait such a ridiculous length of time for dispatch of any item in this century in a developed country ?????
Ordered well in advance and now totally ruined a thoughtful gesture . Beyond disappointed and really rather cross. NEVER AGAIN.

Cancelled order

Sadly I cancelled my order and got a refund. After 10 days my item had still not been posted. I emailed and was told they had my order but could not tell me when it would be posted. I ordered the same item Elsewhere and got it in 2 days.

Terrible delivery service

Placed an order, waited over 2 weeks before chasing to be told, things are very busy and every order has to be checked to see if its genuine due to fraud. The fact you are busy and don't have enough staff is not my problem. I would not advise anyone to place an order unless they are able to wait weeks or may be months for an order to be processed. Pay a bit more and get the item you want .

Wish I'd read these before ordering

Wish I'd read these before ordering. Ordered a perfume (at a great price - this can't be disputed!) on the 20th November. It's now the 9th December and it's not even on its way yet. Thought I'd given stacks of time before Christmas, but now thinking I might have to get a different gift.

As all have mentioned, same generic response saying I'll get an email when dispatched. So probably 2025 at this rate?

Bought two perfumes

Bought two perfumes, Lancôme Idole Aura Eau the parfum and Lancôme La vi est belle Eau de parfum, two very expensive perfumes and the do not last long, even a day. I am very disappointed as I used to buy it from the perfume house and it used to last for 24h and on my coat for long!
I don’t understand why it is not last or they are not original…???

10 days and still not dispatched!

ordered in the 27th Nov says dispatches in 2 to 3 days, still not got it, emailed in and they came back with every excuse under the sun as to why it has not been sent, it's unacceptable. Don't say you are going to dispatch in 2 to 3 days when you clearly have no intention of it, I'd love to review the product but alas it has yet to turn up!
Update, I cancelled my order as still no dispatch details and in fairness they did refund me straight away.

Avoid!

Avoid!! It took 8 working days and they still hadn't sent my order, just gave loads of weird and unbelievable excuses. I am not sure how it takes 5-7 working days to fulfil an order if you actually have the item in stock. Hard to say if this is a scam or not, but they are fully useless. Total waste of time.

100% genuine you just have to wait …

100% genuine you just have to wait about 3 weeks so if you need for urgent birthday give yourself plenty of time. I save about £30 on the item I ordered so well worth the wait. Customer service is good they always respond back

I ordered some perfume on the 25th…

I ordered some perfume on the 25th november 2024 and it's been 11days now and still not recieved it ive emailed them and get the same response as everyone else gets so I have now asked for a refund they was quick to reply to my emails saying the same thing over a few times now but got no reply when asked for a refund as yet
