Do not order from them
Do not order from them. Got the shoes a month after ordering, after trying to cancel 5 minutes after ordering. Now trying to return and can’t get anyone to help
Be patient - they will arrive
I didn’t read the bad reviews until I’d waited quite a few days to receive the shoes. I then panicked and thought I’d been scammed too believing it to be a UK company IN the uk. They were delivered well-packed and as I’d ordered and I’m happy with the pair I’ve tried on and don’t want to take off as they’re so comfortable.
Website is a scam
Website is a scam. I bought sneakers for my elderly mom and had them shipped to her address and she received nothing ( ordered on 1/24). Anytime you click the link in the email - it leads to nothing and the receipt does not have an order number. I emailed them stating all of this giving other information the website has me out in and their response was “ please give an order number” when I told them we couldn’t find an order number. I was in a rush to work- they were pricier on Amazon- and got scammed. I did get the money back from my bank and reported the company, but do not waste your time.
DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY…
DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE RIPPED OFF!!!! They sent me shoes that don't fit properly and will not exchange them. They do not respond to emails. Messages. Or phone calls. This is not a American company it's out of Philippines. DO NOT GET TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF!!!
DON'T MAKE A PURCHASE WITH THEM!
DON'T MAKE A PURCHASE WITH THEM!
I did for my wife through PayPal, and glad I did as I was able to get a refund through PayPal's buyer protection policy. They are a company that just makes excuses for why we didn't get the item that was ordered. They are a fraud/scam company. Again...
DON'T MAKE A PURCHASE WITH THEM!
OOPS...Never again
I'd give customer service 5 stars the shoes 2 stars they aren't what the website describes and waaaaay overpriced you can go to a different platform and buy 2 pairs for what they offer and on their site it's a discounted price. I don't feel the quality is very good I wouldn't say they are scammers but shop around they are over priced for what you get. As far as customer service. They were helpful, offered a refund but when I went I didn't know that it would cost more then what I paid for the shoes to send it back, it's a UK address. Customer service did offer a second option in which I took because of the shipping charges. I would've rather had my money back so I won't shop on their sight again and stick to the platform I normally use with free shipping free returns and I don't have to wait 3 weeks for my order for basically the same item and a much better price.
I 100 % agree with the other posted…
I 100 % agree with the other posted reviews. Do not waste your time or money buying from Peak Footwear. They will not adhere to their exchange policy. After two weeks my shoes arrived in an unmarked plastic gray bag. The shoes laces were stretched out to a point that I could use them. I wrote to PF and told them that the shoes arrived damaged and that I would like to return them for a full refund. I requested the address for the return. There response totally disregarded that my shoes were damaged and provided me a return address in Austria YES the Austria in Europe. I wrote to them and firmly expressed my consternation and that there exchange policy was nebulous, misleading and dishonest. There response was sorry "our return address has always been in Austria" They know that but nobody else does, for its not listed in any of there website under exchange and returns. They even say on there website "Please note that the return address provided is NOT listed on there website" If approved they will send you the return address. I too have reported them to AMX for fraud. There are several vendors that sell this kind of shoes that might work for you. I believe that PF is not a legitimate or honorable.
Scammers
I wish I had looked on here before ordering! They sent a size too small. I asked to return as the quality is atrocious. They sent another pair without my approval. Said to decline the order when it came, it came when I was not in and it was left behind my gate. Now the only way to return is to pay to get a refund. After several emails, they are now ignoring me so contacted Amex who are trying to get my money back.
PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM THIS WEBSITE/COMPANY. TOTAL SCAMMERS.
No returns on this product
The product arrived promptly, packaged in a bag which I thought was ok. The shoes were ok quality, but didn't fit and I didn't like the style that much. So I contacted the company for a return, upon which I was offered a discounted pair in another size. I said I just wanted to return and was given an address in Austria (£10 plus sending cost from UK). I've sent and it was returned. Now I've sent again (now at £20 sending cost) clearly stating it is a RETURN...let's see. Learned my lesson..only buy from UK companies. To be fair, they do state a HK address on the website.
Cheap materials
Cheap materials, run smaller than normal, can’t return because of cost, don’t waste your money
Cheap swimming shoes marketed as barefoot shoes
I usually don't fall for these scams also but my boyfriend sent me this link so I didn't bother to do my due-diligence. Well, the product arrived in a cheap-looking bag- all 3 pairs of shoes squeezed together. The actual product doesn't have any brand name on it, no sign of "Peak Foot" or "Lorax Pro" which is the shoe model I ordered. The plastic it came in actually said "Swimming rubber shoes". I immediately understood that I have been duped. I found the same product in a chinese app called Tao bao. Now I'm going to contact them for a refund. God help me. I hope this company burns down to the ground.
These people are scammers
These people are scammers. Don't touch them with a bargepole. They expect you to post returns to - China! Dream on.
Wow this is the worst company do not…
Wow this is the worst company do not buy from
I usually don’t fall for these scams but sadly fell for it this time. Advertised as higher end barefoot shoes from the Uk.
They shipped from the USA and you have to return them to China ??? I paid extra for fast shipping and it took over 10 days . After I emailed asking for a refund I have been ignored. They arrived wrapped in cheap plastic, no box, no shoe size (surprise they’re too small )
They are cheap Chinese made shoes that sell for no more than £4 in Asia - we have lived in Asia many years so trust me when I say you can get these on the side of the road there.
I wouldn’t trust my child to wear these for his foot health at all. They are not barefoot , not waterproof and horrendous . This company needs to be shut down.
I ordered a pair of sandals from Peak…
I ordered a pair of sandals from Peak footwear UK months ago for £39.99. They were displayed as a fantastic offer of half the original price (£79.99) They had a 30 day money back guarantee listed on the website. At no point did they say that they were a company based in China. The UK was clearly miss leading. The sandals were very cheap and I could not wear them as they hurt my feet. When I tried to return they said it was very difficult to return to China due to the cost of postage. I managed to get the address eventually and used EVRI to return the sandals which were unused and safely wrapped. It cost me £10.00. I sent them on the 6th September. They told me last week that they still hadn't arrived but quite frankly after the really bad experience and cost, they should refund the money immediately. How are companies allowed to operate this way?
Total dissatisfaction
Do not buy from this place they say UK BUT are in CHINA. Ordered a size 39/6 and 9 for hubby. £60 worth of shoes.
Delivered a size 34 and the 9
Stink of rubber and so cheap looking. Have asked for a full refund and they are trying to palm me off with discount on next order as inconvenient to return them. So paid £59.99 on a bogof deal and post office says costs £30.45 to send back to CHINA!
No reply to my last email asking where on their website does it say customer has to pay to send things back!
Under a company called DAYONE FULFILLMENT CO. LTD of Ningbo China. If I did return will I get by £59.99 back??? So in theory shoes are only worth £15 a pair.
Need reporting!!
I wish that I had read reviews before…
I wish that I had read reviews before purchasing. Cheap material, unbreathable, no refunds.
Shoddy with returns to China
Shoddy, cheap useless shoes not orthopaedic as advertised. And not UK, Chinese - want to return and been told I have to pay to send to China. Very misleading
Cheap sub standard shoes not worth the money
do not waste your money of these sub standard "shoes" - so thin you could only walk comfortably on sand!!!! and not cheap !!! Highly professional website pity the shoes don't matched up to the claims on said website.
Barefoot Shoe Means Minimilist Shoe…
I don’t really understand the reviewers of Peak on this site. The shoes are clearly described as “barefoot” shoes.
Barefoot shoes are supposed to give minimal or no support so that it’s the same as walking barefoot with slight protection to the sole of foot with a very, very thin sole.
One should be able to feel every bit of the ground in barefoot shoes.
So why would people with problem feet that need support buy a “barefoot” shoes?? Obviously they do not know what barefoot, minimalist footwear is.
Anyone who wishes to try barefoot shoes should not just jump in. Great care needs to be taken to transition from ordinary shoes to barefoot shoes. Ordinary shoes have heels, are supportive and have thick, stiff soles.
Barefoot shoes have zero drop which means that they are absolutely flat, very thin soles so that the ground can be felt through them, very little weight, very flexible - you can roll them up.
I will give a review of a satisfactory pair that I bought from Peak but will do a separate review or it will be too long.
Barefoot Shoe Lover.
A smooth refund
I had ordered 3 pairs of trainers but decided to cancel the order becsuse i really didn't need them. It was a case of impulse buying!! Sent an email requesting a refund and received it within 2 days. I did not have any problems. I gave this review a 4 star rating because there's no way of getting hold of anyone accept via email.
