I am on a course for Poundland and I…

I am on a course for Poundland and I thought I would do it days in advance online. However this isn't allowed as it doesn't conform to their time schedule.

Being made to retake the course, fortunately I have managed to get a compromise and do half but that is not the point. I shouldn't have to retake full stop.

When someone was told that I had done what I done, their response was, "why have they".

Terrible Service from PeoplePlus

Hi All, further updates in relation to the PeoplePlus awful Customer service & SIA training course, I and 8 others attended and completed on the 4th May 2021.

110 days after passing my SIA course, I was informed by PeoplePlus that I had passed all my exams and that I could now apply for my SIA badge.

On the 1st September, I applied for my SIA licence.

PeoplePlus have fallen well below what is expected from an education and back to work service, what is also of concern is that they are in partnership with the DWP.

My initial complaint raised against PeoplePlus has uncovered more serious matters, which the DWP are investigating.

In my reviews, I have never named any members of the PeoplePlus staff, I didn't feel that was necessary. I do hope they read my comments though, and understand just what they have put myself and the other students through over the last 110 days.

This will be my last review on PeoplePlus but remember, if you have concerns like I did REPORT it.

Thank you for taking the time to read my reviews, I hope they have been useful,

Martin.

Ugly loser convention

Fiona Matthews and her lying deceitful vindictive squad of losers at the former North Shields branch should be locked up for their bullying antics, they are that nasty and uncontrolled they even turn on themselves, what a rancid environment. They are incompetent to boot, a complete farce that they deal with the public. Steer clear of these dodgy wasters

Where do I start..

Where do I start... hmm let's see...

1. They've not paid me for over 3 working days and are ignoring all interaction from my client.
2. They lied and told my client I phoned and swore down the phone and was demanding money from them.
3. They told me if I wanted to be paid on the same day (that they were supposed to pay be but didn't and still haven't) I have to be docked money out of my pay to do so.
4. The blantent rudeness from the snotty customer service girl was unreal. This is not the first time they've "forgotten" to pay me but it will be the last.

They are a JOKE of a company stay clear all carers who want to be paid on time and be treated with respect.

Reading through these reviews is making…

Reading through these reviews is making me question whether I'll ever receive my certificates for the courses I completed with them... I finished my two courses with peopleplus over two weeks ago and still haven't received my physical certificates. I have contacted one of the people who dealt with me whilst I was taking these courses and he said something about peopleplus having to go through another organisation before physical certificates can be sent out. Something didn't seem right and now that I've read a lot of these reviews, I'm beginning to question whether I will ever receive them.

ALLOWING A DRUG ADDICT TO DISRUPT

Did a maths course in 2018 with Kelly Pierpoint as the tutor at their Shalesmoor branch in Sheffield.

We had junkie smoking his cr*p at every opportunity and coming in stoned and high-as-a kite. He was LITERALLY bouncing off the walls and thought nothing of stopping others working when he’d finished HIS work. ZERO consideration.

This guy wouldn’t stop talking to me during my diagnostic test and I ended up with 11%. Had to resit this as was told I could NOT do the course with such a LOW score.

Rather than take matters into my own hands, I Spoke to Kelly Pierpoint and Mina Salifu who BOTH told me that they’d stay on top of this. NOT TRUE. They BOTH let this guy run wild.

Agreed to stay behind (in my own time!) and was about to resit my diagnostic and spoke to Kelly Pierpoint and mentioned that this guy was taking his drugs EVERY break and dinner. She said, “I’M NOT SILLY, I SMELL IT WHEN THEY COME IN”. Yes, he and a female would share this garbage.

So, I said to Kelly, “YOU WOULD THINK IT WOULD SLOW HIM DOWN.” Her reply was “MAYBE IT AFFECTS DIFFERENT PEOPLE DIFFERENT WAYS.”

Things got worse so I brought his up in front of her colleagues a few days later and (clearly embarrassed by her colleagues listening-in) she refused to discuss it.

Here’s the thing, if someone is under the influence of drugs they MUST be removed. After all, common-sense denotes that ‘drug’boy’ almost certainly has drugs ON him. This is an offence to allow drugs ON the premises. So, why was he given immunity and NOT thrown off? He could do NO wrong in their eyes. I am baffled, even NOW.

I had my work so badly disrupted that I couldn’t get any where. Others wouldn’t back me up as they were afraid of consequences were they to complain. In the end Mina salifu removed me from the course and made it clear I wasn't wanted. Whereas, ALL I did wrong was to TRY to succeed and asked for consideration. But they’d rather allow a drug addict to run wild and disrupt the class for OTHERS. He was literally running around the classroom THINKING he was a genius and TRYING to tutor people! AND GETTING IT WRONG BY CONFUSING PEOPLE BY TELLING THEM THE WRONG THINGS. He THOUGHT he knew it all and Kelly never ONCE told him to shut his mouth and sit down. Maybe I should’ve told him!!! In fact, I OUGHT to have reported this to the police!! Allowing drugs on the premises IS illegal. And, as I say, Kelly admitted to ME that she smells drugs when they came in. Isn't it common-sense, then that he'll have drugs ON him? How can THAT been seen as acceptable?

I have NEVER come across this in ANY other organisation where they admit they know someone is under the influence but will do NOTHING about it. I can only assume that due to his mental condition through drug addiction that staff had been told to cut him as much slack as needed. IS THIS FAIR ON OTHER PEOPLE?

WORSE EXPERIENCE I’VE EVER HAD. WISH I’D NEVER HEARD OF PEOPLEPLUS. By the way, PeoplePlus are A4e under a different name. NEED I SAY MORE?

My advice would be, AVOID, AVOID, AVOID! If you’re a drug-addict, however, and bouncing off the walls, maybe you’ll fit RIGHT in!

By the way, if YOU were there during this course, please back me up and leave your OWN review to reinforce what I’VE said. I KNOW I wasn’t the only one who had issues. DON’T be scared of PeoplePlus, back me up. Thanks

HAVE HAD PREVIOUS GOOGLE REVIEWS UP BUT THEY GOT REMOVED. I CAN ONLY ASSUME THAT PEOPLEPLUS DONT WANT YOU TO KNOW.

Not overly impressed with the service…

Not overly impressed with the service received through People Plus and the Welfare to Work Partnership with TESCO.

Trainer very narcissistic .. Spent the best part of half an hour telling our group that the last 6 months of the year spelt out HIS name .. Really? How helpful! No introductions around the table, the young people in the training were not valued at all.
I got a job with Tesco with expectations of a permanent job based on feedback from PP consultant. I was told I was being let go after 6 weeks as Tesco were not keeping on TEMP staff.. I was deeply shocked, I had turned down the opportunity for 3 interviews to work as a People Plus coach .. Things happen for a reason, I am feeling a sense of relief now but I would NEVER accept a referral to this Company again. I am even going to bring it up with my MP. Tax payers are paying for this service which from my personal experience is of very poor quality

PeoplePlus Ballarat

Struggling to find a job and they don’t exactly help. They act like they are trying to find me a job, no job agency has ever helped me even get an interview. Also trying to get my licence for manual. They did however set me up with driving lessons, only willing to pay for 6, i feel like i need more to be comfortable driving a manual. They also stated they would pay for a 3 year licence, just found out from my driving instructor that they are not going to, he also told me that all of his other customers through them have gotten their 3 year licence paid for by people plus. Don’t understand what makes me any different. I do not get enough from Centrelink to pay it myself.
I have been with a dozen job agencies, this would have to be the second worst one following Workways in mount Isa.

If there were no stars I would hit that!!!

Do we have to hit 1 star??? Absolutely horrendous service. Started my course close to 4 years ago and I received my cert on Thursday. Passed from tutor to tutor... went a year with no contact from tutor or people plus. Quick to take the payments but not provide service. I ended up being passed to another agency to finish my course off with and they were fab. I Stopped the payments as I realised people plus were still receiving the money and not the other agency that was provided. Been waiting 2 wks for the “manager” of pp to call me back as I keep getting fobbed off. Do not use people plus or whatever name they’ve changed too now. Shocking.. I’m just glad it’s over.

People Plus

My experience is that some business advisors are dedicated to their position with People Plus by assisting their client with the relevant knowledge to develop a strong business model. My allocated advisor done a fantastic job. I am aware in the current political times that are leading towards a recession, strengthening the economy is a key factor in the United Kingdoms political independence.

Keep up the good work!

Horrible ! A joke of a company! The worst ever apprenticeship:(

Horrible !
I am on an apprenticeship with them , used to be learn direct, 5 coaches, 2 different tutors, apprenticeship meant to be for 15 months turned to be 24 months, and that’s because I was pushing and putting pressure on them constantly!otherwise I could be another 2 years if leaving on them.
Very disappointed, did not stretch my knowledge at all; I regret doing it , I could do something more productive all this time:(((
Please , I don’t want to disappoint anyone , but please : think twice before signing up with them . There are more other companies that will deliver you an excellent apprenticeship and not wasting your time and energy!
PEOPLE PLUS - build a culture , motivate your employees, reward them accordingly, you lost so many great staff, and trust me - you will loose more if keeping the way you work now.
I am planing to escalate this further, someone needs to deal with this company , is wasting everyone’s money and energy !
