Peopleplus Glasgow

Peopleplus is a complete waste of time. The service provided is extremely poor with no real interest in helping anyone. One particular rude staff member thinks it's fine to talk down to people and treat them as if they are stupid. ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING!!! Shame I even had to give a 1 star rating they deserve nothing.

Still waiting for them to transfer my salary for April. It is now 20th May.
Similar issues in the past with other PAs.

Ramsgate Peopleplus now closed "Horray"

As the A4e phoenix crashes into the burning flames. The company before peopleplus and a former founder and advisor to the then David Cameron sells her shares as the company name was so tarnished for 20 million on the backs of people being sanctioned the crippled the sick the unemployed. The world is such a wonderful place sipping cocktails on a yacht somewhere in Monico.Systemic fraud with some employees being jailed .Chris Failing, excuse me Grayling finding no problems in an internal investigation ,other than processes issues"Boom the new phoenix appears from the flames Peopleplus the new company rebranded name appears and the lies, sanctions, corruption begin once more, falsifying of documents continues and not forgetting the big commission and bonuses.I pity any human being that has any dealing with this horrendous awful company. If you unfortunate to be sent by Jobcentreplus ,run out screaming!Staff members knowing more than your own Doctor.I had to stop somebody jumping out of a window who had issues of mental illness and an individual with learning difficulties asking and could not understand why he had been sanctioned. How do these individuals with no moral compass sleep at night. How shocking it is that this company is being considered as one of five companies for further government contracts.

Poor company

I was doing an apprenticeship with this company which originally was called learning direct. I signed up for a 12 month apprenticeship in retail. Which went over 2 years .. all work completed from my side. Never got visits to work.. loads of work behind because of the poor company keeping in touch. Changed 4 different work coaches that would come and see me. All would leave then I would have a new one. Absolute joke of a company complete waste of 2 years to now have left and not got my qualification which I deserve. Don’t recommended !!!!

What's the point???

After showing interest in this. Then going to the first meeting and being motivated and wanting to proceed I contacted the Job Centre and People Plus 3 times with no response. I decided to take it upon myself to check this company out. I'm so glad I did. I will no longer be pursuing this. Complete waste of time. I'm not a waster and I'm trying desperately hard to get back into work with no help or support from anyone. It's true what they say - "If you want something done do it yourself"... and that's exactly what I'm going to do. Stay away from this company. You will only be disappointed and it's a complete waste of time.

Great course

Great course, great tutors. They give you the tools to get more confident and meeting new people.
Julie was great, and I met a cracking bunch of lads who are now mates.
Top class support from the office team too.

Peopleplus in Glasgow

Peopleplus in Glasgow, a truley horrendious experience, no privacy in this office so your chat is open to the enter office, and they seem to just be sitting listeing to other peoples conversations with other advisors, and in Glasgow other advisors will just barge into your conversation as they seem to think they are in the Jermey Kyle audeince and your chat with your advisor is audience participation, and no help finding work, promised to find full time work, but all they offer is agency work, they are in fact a agency for agency's, period....and i found work myself after being with them for 6 months, hopless negative lot.

Not cool

Not cool. You sign yourself up to a 4 week course, with the temptation of being given an insensitive for doing 4 weeks. What that letter doesn't tell you is you must pass to obtain the insensitive. The work is long, grueling, and takes the cake. You have a tutor, but most of the time, she'll be busy with other people, and when you try to ask something, someone will rudely butt in, and you end up not getting the help you need to finish up on what you are working on. Also, you are put into a group, with random people, each of which that want to obtain an insensitive, such as a "tablet," "driving license," "passport," or "mobile phone," and the people in the groups are from all walks of life, there was this one woman in my group who was a total killjoy, she obviously suffers from some kind of mental illness, either that or she's just rude and antisocial, and the worst part is, once you sign up there is no backing out, and you are "forced" to complete, or you'll get sanctioned. So, you sign up manually, and end up mandated? Sucky course! I never want to see PeoplePlus again, it's just a "scheme" to obtain money from the government. Which is why the company no longer receives funding, and has to "trick" people into signing up, so they can get paid. As usual, you go to a place like PeoplePlus, stay from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and don't gain anything from your time there, but stress. Before signing up, I urge you to research the course before you sign up and you'll learn an awful lot about them. The company is formally known as A4e, "Action for Employment," the name change came obviously to fool people into thinking that you'll get something out of it, but it's just one of those typical "everyday" scams.

After A4E were shut down for being so…

After A4E were shut down for being so corrupt that even the Tories couldn't let it slide they immediately re-opened as People Plus. After two years of them finding any excuse to penalise and/or sanction me and lie to my face about doing it I went from a disabled person getting his life together to a disabled person whose anxiety issues and depression are so bad I have trouble just leaving my flat. The only thing that keeps me going is the knowledge that one day these "people" will be in front of a court of human rights and I'll be able to watch them go to the wall, one by one, and get what they deserve.

This is just warn others in case their jobcentre advisor trys to refer them to a bunch of lying scammers
They recruit people by pretending that they offer short courses in NHS or driving lessons with a guaranteed job interview at the end when the reality is a 4 week employability course with a tutor who spoon feeds brain dead job and interview tips and telling everyone to fill their workbooks with the info they've written on the whiteboard while they sit back and get paid for you turning up I'd be very wary of them as they were formally known as A4E the scam so called training provider

PeoplePlus is way out of order!

I have been going to the Newcastle upon Tyne Branch now for around 1.5 years. Practically every time I go in, I am spoken to rudely, despite being most polite and keen. I am a Teacher of FE and a Physicist and trying very hard to look for suitable work. This company does nothing for me or other unemployed people. They are simply arrogant bullies who look at the unemployed as an "Inferior Species." We are not! The JobCentrePlus told me to make a complaint to the Area Manager of PeoplePlus. She (Fiona Loudmouth) was equally as rude and used the same bullying tactics as the rest of the staff. She also stated that there will be a lot more Mandatory Sessions from now on. She wants me to do a course on CV writing. Amongst other things, I am a fully qualified Employability Tutor and have proven experience of helping Disabled People and others with the skills to gain employment if they so wish. I would help people, not threaten them. It is so ironic that they want an Employability Tutor to attend a CV writing course. At Age UK, I used to write CVs for JobCentrePlus! The attitude of PeoplePlus is deconstructive and there is no proper complaints procedure, only further belittling. I wouldn't hire any of them to even pot a plant. There is no Managerial Material in this company, only Little Hitlers. The company needs disbanding and its members used to feed carnivorous zoo animals. This may well go some way to reducing the so called Conservative Deficit. However, David and Theresa may well use the financial gain to award themselves a pay rise! Wouldn't be the first time!

ILS Services - appalling Service

I used People Plus independent living service for payroll services associated with employing carers. The level of service was very poor, responses were delayed and inconsistent, poor customer services, unhelpful advisors and very poor management. Do not use this shambles of a company foryour ILS needs, as you’ll only be left very frustrated.

remember this is £145 million FOR profit welfare to work company, the less they spend on you the better, so if you haven't got any qualifications then you will be forced to do 10-12 hour shift picking and packing work in a warehouse up to 30 miles away or face sanctions.
