Nothing terrible happened—actually the exact opposite. I paid what I thought was a fair amount for my homeowners' insurance earlier this year. What I didn't know was that P.T. had approximated my discounts, which is normal, before all the reports were done, like wind mitigation. When the actual wind mitigation report came through, P.T. lowered my insurance cost by $1300.00. They sent me a refund check, which was a Godsend during this pandemic.
(To be upfront, I had a new roof installed 14 months before I went with P.T. My old insurance company did nothing.

Just bought a house and needed wind and homeowners insurance. Good rates for the coverage. Easy people to work with.
However I did not use any of their emergency services yet and hope I don’t need to!

Peoples Trust was very flexible and…
Peoples Trust was very flexible and understanding since I insured my 2nd home with them after I had returned to NY and was unable to personally be on premises when the policy was written. I will be returning by the end of the year and be able to allow access to the interior and the underwriter's took that into consideration.

Missing customer service.
My insurance went uo 60 days into the policy and I called to find out why. I was told three different times customer service would call me back within two business days. Here we are 60 days later and still waiting for a call.
