SCAM SCAM SCAM

SCAM SCAM SCAM! Got an email like everyone else, and decided to Google the company first just in case, and found this thread. Checked my original pet registration company, and my pet's microchip is still active and completely fine. Email blocked and deleted!

Petchip Network is a SCAM SCAM SCAM

SCAM SCAM. Petchip Network is a scam. They hacked the real database of microchips and are now spamming emails trying to trick pet owners into paying a huge fee to "renew" and then stealing their credit card details. The real microchip database never expires.

These guys should be in prison for scamming. Hugely unethical.

I got the scam email and it looked legit but it's a scam.

All the reviews say Petchip Network is a scam too.

This is an awful company

This is an awful company! As stated by a previous reviewer the lady I dealt with was extremely rude and told me the poor reviews were from ignorant uninformed people. As the email came out of the blue I checked and found that the company I originally used (backed by the Kennel Club) had registered my dog for life.

Thankfully I did not pay them and after several confronting emails from them they have decided to block me which is a result of sorts.

Stay away from them!

I would give it 0 stars if I could

I would give it 0 stars if I could. Received a scam email from them wanting more money. When I responded , the woman that replied was extremely rude and unprofessional, actually down right nasty.
I did not choose this company as my dog is a rescue. I advise everyone to stay away from them and go with a honest and professional company

Avoid at all costs

Avoid at all costs, I paid for these 7 years ago and just discovered that my cat is not showing up on any registry. I have tried to contact them to remove my cat as I cannot now register with a new registry! They have never replied, I have been trying every way possible for a YEAR!!!

Scam

Scam, microchips do not expire and there are no renewal fees. I contacted AVID who confirmed my dogs microchip is fine and active. They stated to not pay it, is it not true.

SCAM ALERT

SCAM. It is worrisome that they have my contact info and details of my pet. It could be that, I, like an idiot filled out all my pets' info with breed, age etc on either Chewy or Petco. Perhaps their bank of our info got hacked or they had some unsavory staff who downloaded the info.

Scam company

Scam company, YOUR PETS MICROCHIP DOES NOT EXPIRE.

do not click any links. Do not pay anything.

Information has either been sold to scammers or there has been a data breach somewhere.

PLEASE BE CAREFUL.

Definitely a scam

Definitely a scam. I know this for a fact because I changed my email and phone number so that was my first alert. Also initial payment is for lifetime membership.
If your pet was previously registered with another company they may have sold the membership list.
I suspect that emails may be on the dark web.

Don’t fall for it.!!!

Don’t fall for it.!!!
Got the E-mail questioned it straight away.
My dog was chipped before we named him. Knew it must have come from his KC registration. That has been the only time I’ve ever used his full name.

Petchip Network is a \scam

Petchip Network is a scam. Have nothing to do with it. They send you an email saying that your pet's micro chip has expired and charge you a re-registration fee. They must have hacked into the Pet Log data base because they had all my details, address phone number email address and the name, breed and sex of my dog. Beware!

My fault

My fault. Didn't think before paying the fee requested on the email, which worryingly had all correct details for me and my dog. Only stopped to think afterwards that a microchip is fir life and doesn't expire. Googled the site and realised this was a cynical scam.

If i could give 0 stars i would

If i could give 0 stars i would. Had an email saying the microchip was going to expire if I didn't pay £20+ to reinstate the information, complete scam!! It's been in my dog for 6 years and I've never had to pay to have his information on his microchip. It's a LEGAL requirement to have your dog microchipped

Same as others

Same as others - received spam email from this company saying I need to renew. Our dog's microchip is not from them. Fraud. Would give a zero star if an option.
