Having been told that Petguard do not…
Having been told that Petguard do not cover any claims, whatsoever, for any dog that is, or may be, used for breeding, their policies became defunct. Extremely disappointed that having paid many £00’s I find it unacceptable to refuse claims using the Breeding clause as an excuse.

Sorry to hear that you are disappointed to hear that our petGuard policy doesn't cover breeders.
As part of the application process, and within the FAQ's on the website, it is very clear that we do not cover animals used for commercial breeding or monetary gain.
The specific element that you will have confirmed within the application process, that you had read and agreed that you could adhere to within the eligibility criteria, states:
"Your pet is not used for commercial breeding or monetary gain"

We would be sorry to see you leave us but can cancel your policy if you have made the decision to go.
In order to cancel we need to talk to the policy holder to validate that it is the person named on the policy attempting to cancel. Please call us on 0345 450 7042 and we can take you through the process to get your policy cancelled.
