Pet Ninja 

This is the worst company to deal with. Like everyone else, I have had the worst experience with the mesh pet gate! I am trying to get my money back and they want to give me 50% back, or I can return them to China even though they are based out of NY. This is nothing less than a scam! I have reported them to the Better Business Bureau and hopefully everyone else will. Let’s get our justice by bankrupting them!

I purchased this “dog gate” on 06/06/2018, and it was delivered on 07/10/2018. So, it took over a month for delivery. I had to contact Pet Ninja on 06/19/2018, to even receive any sort of confirmation that they received my order. I asked for confirmation, and a tracking number. I eventually did receive the tracking number. When I got the gate, it is way too wide for literally any doorway. It comes with ZERO instructions. The hooks are cheap version of command strips. When I took them off the wall it completely ripped my paint off my wall. And it looks horrible. The whole thing is cheaply made, and not worth the $29.99 that I paid. I would seriously not buy anything from this company again, and would not recommend it to anyone.

This gate was horrible and not as advertised!! I also wish I would of seen the reviews prior to wasting my money. It wasn't even cheap and took forever to receive and once we did it was WAY too big and had no instructions. Once I found the instructions online we attempted to follow them but the gate was just way to big. Upon talking with the "customer service rep" they told me it would fit any size opening and that I could not return it because it had to go to China and would cost more ti treturn then I spent on the gate. So we are stuck and have spent more money on an actual gate that works and now have a $40 peice of trash from a company that I will tell everybody to avoid.

This is the all time worst company I have ever dealt with. I am in the customer service business and I am appalled at how their mistake is being handled. Essentially they are calling me a liar. I ordered two of the magic-gates, small. My Paypal account was charged on June 30 the gates finally arrived on July 23 and they were the large gates not the small gates described on their website.
When I called to exchange the gates they told me that I ordered the large gates not the small gates and they would give a 30% discount on the small gates. I too wish I would have read the ratings prior to ordering the gates. I asked to s peak with a manager and was told that they only communicate via email. Then I asked to speak with a supervisor and was told that the person was out sick. Then I asked when would the supervisor be in and could I have their contact info and I was told "I don't know and no you may not have their contact info".
So I'm out $53 dollars and don't know what I'm going to do with these gates. I have filed a complaint with the BBB and I guess I will take to social media, boy am I disappointed.

Don’t waste your money on them

The gate took months to get when called they said coming from China. When we did receive the so called gate, it had no instructions on how to put it up. It was way to big for a doorway, made cheaply with netting. Nothing in package on how to return for refund. Husband called and they said to take picture and send to them, then thy would see about a refund. If it was damaged they might consider a refund. Don’t fall for their ad product not worth it!

I did a review yesterday about my experience and since I have an update. They sent me e-mail saying that they will refund me 30% OF MY COST AND I DO NOT NEED TO RETURN THE PRODUCT. They said it should take 3-5 business day - so we will see if that holds true. I want to let others know that you may get some of your money back if you push the issue. Good luck to everyone a lesson learned.

Well unfortunately I found the reviews of the gate after the purchase of this worthless product. Like others, I can make adjustments with my sewing machine to make them work, however, that is something that I should not have to do. Since contacting the company is worthless, I didn't even try. Why waste my time. So hopefully, you will read the reviews before buying-don't be taken like the rest of us

I agree with all of the other reviews as I had the exact same experience.

The pet "gate" took over a month to arrive after many frustrating emails with customer service to find out what the status was.

When it finally arrived, it came with no instructions on how to make adjustments (because apparently it is not adjustable) and is completely flimsy. And the poles don't fit into the sewn shut end. The whole thing is a piece of garbage.

I have emailed them again asking for instructions on how to return it for a full refund. I am not optimistic that I will ever get my $$ back.

UPDATE:
I went to the Post Office and found out it costs about $23.50 to ship this thing back to China so after shipping costs, I would (theoretically) only net $6 as my return credit. And that's assuming that they actually give me a refund -- a huge gamble I'm not willing to take with this company.

I will be throwing this piece of garbage away, along with my $30. Do not trust this company!!!

Pet Ninja Gate is not a good product. I can sew and alter it to work. Will be using command hooks instead. The backing on the hooks peel paint off. Comes with no instructions. It's pretty much garbage from China.

DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT!!!!! I purchased 2 pet ninja gates online through the pet ninja website on June 4th. Of course the payment came out of my bank account on June 4th. I did not receive a confirmation email or any correspondence regarding my purchase although they clearly had my email. (I began receiving and am still receiving emails on June 4th wanting me to purchase other items from Pet Ninja.) After 2 weeks I contacted Pet Ninja and was told "I was in luck my items were about to be shipped." After another week and no new information from Pet Ninja I again contacted them and was told there was a back order. After another week I contacted them and was told Happy Day my items were shipped. After the final two weeks my "gates" arrived. It took a total of 6 weeks for this product to arrive. They are sadly and frustratingly disappointing. There were no instructions and the mesh gates are 6 feet long. The video shows a slot on each side of the gate in which to slide the metal poles...the slots on the sides of my gates are sewn shut. The googled directions show the gates to be about 4 feet long or about door width. If I want to use them I will have to alter them with my sewing machine. If i could give negative stars I would!!!!

I ordered the dog gates June 4th after many emails which where not answered I finally got them July 7th. Tried them out same day asked for return authorization, mind you their policy states they must be returned within 10 days. 5 days go by still no email or return address I sent them back to the address where they were shipped. I sent them all the information and all of the sudden 4-5 emails a day. All this person named Jacky keeps telling me wrong address get package back but does not provide any other information. BEWARE before you buy.

In agreement with previous reviews, I also found this company difficult to work with. The magic gate did not come with instructions, is not retractable and is difficult to keep rolled up and stretched across the doorway. The company is in China and to return it you have to ship to China. Please do not order from them.

This item took 4 weeks to arrive !! The gate is a Absolute Waste of money, 4 adults couldn't get it to stay rolled up, on the advert it shows a small gate there is no sign of the one used being rolled . The sticky pads pull the paint off the walls when you try to take them off.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY, ITS IN CHINA NOT IN USA AND NO CHANCE OF RETURNING ITEM FOR A REFUND .

Took forever to get my items, (magic gates) and when I did very poor quality. Contacted Pet Ninja Shop and was told I would have to pay to ship back. (to China) cost more then the product. save your money and buy from someone else!!!!

I never received an order confirmation. Then it took over a month to get the product after I emailed several times to understand what was happening. Found out the items came from China. I could have ordered from another US company and had the product 4 weeks ago when I first got my puppy. Very disappointed this was not disclosed.

Products did not come with instructions on how to install. Product came with very poor quality - seams not sewn perfectly or frayed fabric. Do not use this company.

This company is horrible. I ordered a gate on May 25th and I had to email to see if they received my order request. You don't get a confirmation or nothing. After a month I contacted them to get a status of my order and it took them 3 days to reply. I sent me a tracking for DHL. That is when I realized I was ordering from China. I waited another 3 weeks and when I looked at the tracking it said it was delivered yesterday. I was home all day and I never received it. I contact them and they told me it was delivered and to contact my neighbors or local post office to see if they have it. When I contacted DHL they informed me that they did not have the correct address and delivered it to someone down the street. I'm so upset because now I have to go knock on a strangers door to see if they have my package. I'm praying that they did not return it, because I will never see it and these people from Chine will not refund my money. They are scammers. Do no order from them.

I ordered the dog water bottle from Pet Ninja before I saw all of these terrible reviews. I did not receive a confirmation email right away, so I was very worried that I would never receive the bottle that I ordered. But, I did receive a confirmation email two days after placing my order. They gave me a tracking number to track my order and I was able to track it all the way from China to my front door. It took a little less than two weeks to receive my order and I really do like the water bottle! It works exactly like the ad said it would. I am happy with my purchase!

I wish I’d looked for these reviews before making a purchase - seems that everyone who has commented here has had a very similar unacceptable experience. I ordered two magic gates and a few other products on the 30th May. My order didn’t arrive until today (9th July) and like others, I am thoroughly disappointed with the quality of the gates, they simply do not measure up to the advertisement.

Even worse, when my order finally arrived in the UK (shipped from China, not the US as it suggests on their website), I got a letter from the courier company stating the order was being held awaiting payment of customs import duties and I had to pay an additional £33 to have it released. I didn’t really have a choice as otherwise the customs authorities simple wouldn’t release the parcel.

On the day I placed the order, I sent an email to the company asking if there was any option for an express delivery service - it was only after I’d placed the order that I realised the estimated delivery time was 2-3 weeks of “working days” which actually equates to closer to 5 weeks in practice. They basically wrote back and said it wasn’t possible - I should have known something wasn’t right when a shipment takes that long to arrive, it’s simply not normal in this day and age, even if something is coming from overseas.

The gate itself is far too wide for any normal doorway and is not adjustable as it suggests on the adverts. It doesn’t spring nicely back when you want to open it, it just sags. I don’t the hooks will be strong enough against the enthusiastic charges of my two puppies but I’m not about to pay to send the lot back to China, so looks like a complete waste of money. Don’t use them!

Everyone here has voiced the same issues I have with this sham of a “company” . They make it appear that they are in NY but are actually in China. All I can do now is flood FBand other sites with warnings and negative reviews.
