Compassionate and understanding customer service during a difficult time

I recently had to contact the team regarding my late mum Janet’s Argos card account, and I cannot thank them enough for the kindness and professionalism they showed throughout the process.

Lilly, the customer service representative I spoke with, was incredibly supportive, patient, and understanding from the very beginning. She offered her sincere condolences and handled everything with genuine compassion, which made a very difficult situation much easier to deal with emotionally.

Lilly explained everything clearly, helped us resolve the account efficiently, and ensured we were able to bring the matter to a respectful closure. It’s rare to experience such empathy and care in customer service, and I’m truly grateful for the support we received during such a sensitive time.

Thank you again, Lilly, for your kindness and professionalism, it meant a great deal to our family.

Respectfully handled

The agent was respectful of the situation. She was clear about all of the options for managing the account for my mother's estate. At the end I felt comfortable knowing that it one thing I didn't have to worry about.

Compassionate and Helpful

Everyone I have spoken too, which has been a few for reasons I will mention, have all been extremely compassionate and helpful and explained everything in detail. However the reference number given wouldn’t be accepted by the automated service and so I had to call back again. Also when I received a letter from you I tried to make the payment online but it wouldn’t accept the details I entered despite all of them being correct. Also on my first attempt to use the automated payment service when I was first put through despite me waiting a few seconds I was cut off and had to start the whole process again with someone else. I have spoken to four people now who have all been lovely but your systems clearly do not work correctly

I was put through to a lovely gentleman, Joseph. He was very calm, courteous and compassionate during our conversation and I felt at ease during this upsetting time. I was rest assured throughout.

Death of the Acct Holder…

Dealing with my father's estate and…

Dealing with my father's estate and death, Donna was extremely helpful and caring explaining absolutely everything this morning in terms I could understand and has completely reassured me and my mother in regards to outstanding balances my father owed. She has taken into account my own personal health issues at the moment and put everything on hold so I'm not having to deal with everything at once. Her caring and compassionate nature has made this experience a little easier to deal with. Thank you

Gentleman was very polite

Gentleman was very polite, helpful and respectful that we had only lost our father a few months ago.
He clearly explained that any remaining household bills go to them and once we have access to money from a estate we pay a final bill.
