Terrible. They've taken my money but nothing has arriverd

I ordered a TV through phonedge, a pop-up whilst looking on Amazon Phonedge took my money and has not delivered the item I have tried contacting them through email. phone and their messenger service
No response at all. Nothing
Still trying but little hope of seeing my goods i fear. A terrible experience. Will be taking further action if nothing received by the end of the week.

I ordered a Samsung Monitor before…

I ordered a Samsung Monitor before realising i no longer needed it. I cancelled almost immediately but they still took my money the following day. I then got an e-mail saying i would be refunded within 14 days and haven't heard anything since. I am now in the process of contacting the Financial Ombudsman to retrieve my money. What annoys me is they took the money after i had cancelled the order. Something definitely dodgy about them.

Edit :- As far as i know i haven't been refunded yet and am still waiting for my cash.
Edit 2:- I received an e-mail saying i had been refunded yesterday and a threat that if i didn't change my post on here they would take Legal Action. I still haven't had my money refunded and their within 14 days promise has passed. I have no reason to change anything at the moment and have been told nothing but lies.

It has now been over a month and still no refund. I didn't really want to involve my Bank and Solicitor but enough is enough. I have given them more than enough time and think i have been quite reasonable in the circumstances. Not happy with this company at all.

You placed your order on 9th August and cancelled on 11th August. Payment is taken automatically when an order is placed — this isn’t something we can stop once initiated. As per consumer law, refunds can take up to 14 days to reach your account, and yours was processed within this timeframe.

We understand your frustration, but we can assure you there is nothing “dodgy” about our process — we’ve followed all legal requirements and acted promptly.

I was stupid enough not to read the…

I was stupid enough not to read the reviews first before l decided to part with £200 for a Samsung Projector. I'm always telling everyone else watch out for these sites. Unfortunately i missed the detail until it was too late. So a week passed and was sent an email that it would be another 5 days before delivery. No thanks l had already waited 7 days! Refund was issued via an email stating 14 days and my bank will not look into this until the same time has lapsed. Phonedge if you are reading this your e-commerce is dreadful, you do not fulfil items. If l can l will update here in 14 days to tell you if l received my money back (or not)!
UPDATE: 10 days into return of refund, still nothing.
Fraud case opened with Bank. Money back in account by the afternoon!

You placed your order on 4th August and requested a cancellation, which was processed and refunded on 11th August. As outlined in our terms and in consumer law, refunds can take up to 14 days to appear in your account depending on your bank’s processing times.

Avoid Phonedge

Ordered a tv from Phonedge. Advised one day before delivery order refunded. Refund not in bank for two months. Rang Phonedge and they put the phone down on me and did not answer Emails. Fortunately paid by Tesco credit card and after consulting with citizens advice asked Tesco to refund money. Tesco was swift and refunded my money. After reading the reviews I am surprised that Tesco is still dealing with Phonedge. Avoid Phone Edge.

Thank you for your feedback. We're very sorry for the experience you had. The issue arose when we began processing payments through Stripe. After accepting several orders, Stripe unexpectedly suspended our account due to the high value of our goods. They then withheld the funds for those orders and prevented us from issuing direct refunds, stating they would hold the money for up to 3 months.

This meant we were unable to dispatch your order, as we had not received payment, nor could we refund you directly. That’s why we advised initiating a chargeback through your bank — which was the only way for you to recover your funds quickly.

We understand how frustrating this must have been and genuinely wish it had been within our power to resolve it faster for you. We've since switched to a more reliable payment provider, Noda, and no longer face these issues.

Unfortunately, this situation is not uncommon — as you can see from Stripe’s Trustpilot profile, many merchants have experienced similar problems. While this was completely out of our control, we take full responsibility for your experience and are committed to ensuring it doesn’t happen again.which is why we now have a reliable payment provider.

They don't process orders, just take your money.

As all the other reviewers state, order got cancelled 1 day before deliver date, £599 order. I received an email from them saying it was a processing problem at their end, and I would be refunded, as yet several emails have been sent, with no response, I have now flagged this to the card company as fraud.
