Great Business. Bought a Magic Mirror SE.
Great piece of kit. I have done 5 events with it so far while first event was always hardest, support help me sort a paper jam at 11.30pm at night.
Software is relatively easy once you get the hang of it.
Good business, good product but with all business you need to work hard.

Unacceptably Poor in many ways. I am not alone when i say this. I have never ever written a review but today i thought i would search the net to see if others were of the same opinion. Now i know!
1. The 24/7 emergency support is a joke
2. The referral system is a complete scam.
3. The software is far too complex, lots of glitches appearing (not a good idea to occur during an event) very embarrassing
4. Lots of software updates to fix these bugs but they also create more problems.
5. The Green Screen is laughable
6.During purchase and training at their premises there was no heating at all and it was very cold especially being there for so long. People spending that kind of money deserve a little comfort, at least. Whilst there I was asked twice if i'd like a coffee, over a year later i am still waiting for it.
If you are reading this review, THINK!!. My review is the 10th Bad/Poor rating out of the 33 that i can see. One in every three are unhappy customers. Are you willing to spend your hard earned money in the Photobooths game of Roulette?

Absolutely shambolic experience with Photobooths from start to finish. From being bullied into purchasing (Sales staff are particularly poor) because they already had a deposit (despite being not sure on viewing the product) to the repeated problems with the Magic Mirror SE and the requirement to come and visit the showroom over 250 miles away when a problem occurred. We made a big mistake in using Photobooths.co.uk and when we ask around other photobooth companies in the area they all say the same thing. We have now sold on the mirror and I am glad that we no longer have a requirement to use Photobooths/resus digital. There are other better companies out there - please use them!

I purchased a Photobooth in February 2017 after looking around at different manufacturers I settled on Photobooths booth, throughout the process of purchase communication was great, we had a demo when collected and when needed(more to do with my own lack knowledge than product) support dept been excellent - highly recommended went on to purchase a magic mirror as well

I was introduced to the idea of a photobooth business by a friend on facebook. Since i worked for myself previously i already knew the pros and cons of running your own business but the idea of something in the entertainment industry was quite appealing.
i looked around and visited quite a few organisations in the west midlands, and a few a bit further afield, as i wanted to make sure i was making the right decision and not being guided by someone who just wanted to make a sale (something which seemed more often than not!)
i visited photobooths towards the end of 2017 and met Marie, she was really friendly and helpful and didn't come across as just trying to sell me someting.
i left the showroom really tempted (i never buy anything without walking away and sleeping on it first) so came home and spent another night researching. although there were a few negative reviews about the sales service with photobooths, i hadn't encountered these issues so decided to give it a go and i ordered a photo booth and magic mirror se a few days later.
Knowing how hard it is to get promotion for a new business, I decided to take them up on the referral scheme and recieved my first enquiry about 8 days later. It's been four months since i purchased from them and i was really busy over the christmas period and NYE which has really kicked off business for me. Hopefully it will continue!
Overall, really great experience with photobooths and felt like a valued customer not just a sale. Would definitely recommend them to others and wouldn't think twice about buying from them again.

I have used these guys for a few years. It has been a bit of a mix of the good the bad and the ugly. Our first booth was from another manufacturer which although did what we wanted we wanted to go for a stand up photobooth. We initially visited the showroom and spoke with the sales guy who was very helpful and promised quite a lot so we ordered the windows photobooth. When we arrived to pick it up the software training was quite rushed and some off the things promised were not there. This was resolved while we were there and we left happy. After getting used to the software we actually prefer it to breeze which was on our first photobooth so we then purchased pbpro for our other booth. We then bought a third photobooth second hand and replaced social booth on that with pbpro so we are running pbpro on all 3 machines. In the last 3 years we have only had it crash once so very stable. We are in the process of building a third booth and will put pbpro on that also. Support on the few occasions we have head to call had been fast and good at responding. They haven't been major things. For example we broke the WiFi dongle but the software looks for this when booting up so if it detects a different dongle it boots in trial mode. They simply reset our account and we were back up and running. We have ordered a few other items from pb from catch trays to Greenscreen curtains and full sets of skins. Generally items are delivered quickly. We have had the occasional issue but upon contacting them they have resolved the issues. I don't have an issue if a company makes a mistake as long as they acknowledge it and rectify it, which these guys do. I would 4 out of 5 stars as in my experience things haven't been perfect but have always been resolved. The quality of the frames skins and software is good and I can't fault it. We do have a mirror SE we bought second hand and that is a different story as the software is not very good so we putt different software on and the touchscreen calibration is out. But to pay the support price to have it sorted is not worth it. We are mainly concentrating on booths anyway so not a problem for us. The only thing I would say about ordering extras is the postage cost. It is £15 No matter what the size and weight is so ordering a curtain which costs about £5 to send is still £15. Overall I am happy with the items we have bought and the service.

We really regret purchasing our photo booth package from Photobooths.co.uk

The heavy and bulky equipment really wasn't worth the money and looked shabby almost immediately. Parts needed replacing after just a few outings and the carry cases all fell apart. Photobooths.co.uk refused to replace the faulty items and expected us to repurchase it all even though it was only a few months old and hadn't even been out of the storage unit more than 10 times!!

The software itself was hopeless especially the green screen - it was so embarrassing being in front of clients and it just not working - time after time - in the end we stopped selling the software and just stuck to the standard basic photo booth software so the additional amount we paid for all the so called 'impressive' extra software was a complete waste of money!

The 24 hour help desk were able to help us out on a few occasions but we never got to the bottom of the green screen not working (NB the 24 hour help desk cover is very expensive and is only valid for 12 months - many times I called and it just went to voicemail or was engaged when I needed to urgently speak to someone as I was experiencing problems whilst at client events).

We also had a security issue whereby the helpdesk gave our website login details to another client so our website was completely overwritten by another company.

Also when we went up to view the various photo booths before purchasing one, the demonstration we were given only showed us the PC admin interface. The Mac admin interface was very different not at all user friendly but this wasn't shown to us until we had handed over our money and were picking up the photo booth! Which was really unprofessional!!

As I say in the title of this review the purchase was a BIG MISTAKE - I certainly wouldn't recommend!!

I have just received my second Mac Photo Booth from Photobooths...I cannot rate the service highly enough.....They have been extremely patient with all my requests and I love how easy their product is to use....Hopefully I will be back in the future for my 3rd booth!!........I had some teething problems...my fault not theirs ....and the support team were amazing. So prompt with getting back to me and sorted out my issues quickly. Its very reassuring ....especially for a techno phobe like myself ..to know that the back up is there......Thanks to the whole team!!

I have nothing but praise for this company.After going through a difficult time personally over 8 months,they are still going to honour my original £1,000 deposit on another product.it literally has saved my Christmas.5 stars to photobooths UK gone above and beyond.

Photobooths.co.uk we brought a windows booth from them last summer. Never ever had one issue. Traning and setup went really well. Always help me out last minute when I need paper and ink. Ladies in the office are kind and friendly.

Wouldn’t go anywhere else for my photobooths. Always a great service, the staff are friendly, photobooths are always great no problems. Fully trust this company with all my needs. Telephone support it always extremely helpful which is a huge requirement. Thankyou.

I purchased a Magic Mirror from Photobooths back in 2016 and was impressed with how simple and straightforward the experience was, thanks to a knowledgeable and friendly staff team. I was a newbie to the technology but the staff made it so easy to familiarise myself with it as they gave easy to follow instructions and training and have even provided support since the purchase. Nothing has been too much trouble for them. In fact I have the ongoing support from the support team who go above and beyond at times. The office staff such as Kelly have also been amazing and again offer a great customer service. On top of this the quality of the equipment is also of a high quality, which led me to purchase another mirror this year in 2017 and I am extremely happy with what I have bought. I continue to purchase my stationery from them. I'm really pleased with my purchases and would definitely use Photobooths again!

This company can't do enough.
Being new to the industry and not really having much computer experience I was put at ease by the support and after sales offered.
You get free support on a free landline number ( support session appointment needs to be booked).
This played a huge part in me deciding to buy from this company.
They are always on the phone for any questions I need to be answered and if I need paper/ink or any other photobooth accessories they are sent out very quickly and always well packaged.

I now own 2 booths both brought from this company and I would definitely recommend anyone looking at buying a photobooth to only purchase it from this company.
Excellent customer service and a company that puts customers first.

I have used this company for nearly 4 years now and I find it hard to believe some of the comments left on here.
I have 3 photobooths and 1 mirror and the support line has always been very helpful and have always assisted or fixed my problem.
I pay for the additional support for peace of mind and whenever I needed to call them out of hours and once over the weekend they have always got my mirror or booth working again. Most of the time its human error or a wrong button pressed but I wouldn't put it down to shabby or poorly made equipment.
I have also purchased 2 additional skins and they are in fact better then the original ones originally purchased with my booth 4 years ago.
If anything the company is moving on with the times and I have never had a bad experience.
