So far very satisfied with PianoGroove.i like how they systematically approach to music theory in their couses, patice exercises and opportunities to learn from different artists like community and weekly activities. All in all it is superb.

After watching your "Slow Blues for Beginners" on YouTube, I´ve decided to sign up as a member, because I thought this was by far the best tutorial I´ve ever seen.
So I hoped that the other tutorials are nearly as good as this one. And what should I say, the complementary lessons for the Slow Blues are providing more in depth knowledge but always in an easy to follow way.
I have enrolled in several other online courses and always thought, there was something missing.
Finally I totally agree with the PianoGroove slogan "what really makes the difference, is the quality of the teacher" and Hayden is perfect proof for this.
Thank you for having sparked my enthusiasm for the instrument and the Blues again. Looking forward to seeing even more exciting lessons on the Blues.

For me Pianogroove is the best jazz piano learning website I have tried so far. If you want to learn jazz piano you will find here a very resourceful and well-structured approach. I especially like the very tasteful jazz standard arrangements and Hayden's calm and clear instructions with full visual focus on the keys and harmonic concepts. I can fully recommend this platform.

I was impressed with the various alternative approaches offered and the nice handling of flat 9ths, sharp 5ths and elevenths and 13th, alt chords, arpeggios etc. Overall it provided alternatives to my habitual rendering of jazz standards and blues riffs. Looking forward to working on Latin stuff. Very happy to have subscribed to Pianogroove.

What I didn't expected was that Hayden contacted my personally and gave me an individual recommendation for practice plan, based on my preferences and self estimated skills.
Morover are all courses and lessons which I saw extremely understandable and easy to implement.

It's really a great program.
I started classical piano at the age of 10, in the early 60s, then I did variety until the 70s. I stopped playing piano until 2005. I started playing Jazz piano at that time, and took lessons, but in 2010, I had to stop again. I just took this course again with Pianogroove, and I had to start again from the beginning. I really enjoy it. The lessons are clear, concise, very explicit, although my language is French. The course description allows me to better understand what is being said. I can't wait to go further.

I have been studying with Piano Groove for over 2 years. Calling myself an "intuitive player" this course has helped me focus in on developing my ear training, timing, and importance of practicing. Piano Groove teachers are excellent with a wide range of styles. Jazz, Brazilian, Blues, and Cuban music are all featured through resources, live seminars, and a community forum. Thanks Hayden for establishing a fine online community course together!

I bought all the Homespun Tapes' actual VCR tapes many moons ago, have avalanches of Hanons, hundreds of "Hundred Licks Like!" fake books of fake books, for real. I prided myself on barely being able to keep up just the left hand on the Jerry Lee stuff way back when. Now I'm psyched to take another crack at Dr. John, the night tripper himself, after I get a few of these addictive PG lessons under me fingers. I'm enchanted by every style they teach. Call it serendipity or fate, I wish there was a site like PG when I was teaching myself at the dawn of the internet, and am truly grateful to Hayden and his team of other utterly inspiring players and teachers. Groove on!

The simplicity of the White and Black contrast of the presentation is wonderful there are no distractions of wild colors and people's faces blocking part of the video. Also Hayden's way of showing each concept slowly and repeatedly is just perfect for a beginner to follow. Having the highlight move along with the music allows a beginner to always know where Hayden is in the piece and know where his fingers are placed and what keys are actually pressed down. It allows perfect focus on the sound as it is happening. Chords and scales and voicings are easy to see this way. Also having the lead sheet at the top of the screen and the animated piano keys in the middle of the screen and the real piano keys with hands playing on the bottom has led me to progress leaps and bounds in understanding these musical concepts. In my opinion, Piano groove is the best piano instruction anyone could ever receive. Five stars from me easily.

Amazing Value for the price! Many recourses - transcriptions and lead sheet of jazz standards. Just for that the money is already worth it.
Quality of the content is amazing. Detailed in depth explanations of complex jazz principles and techniques and always demonstrated with an example of a Jazz Standard - They really walk the talk. Website functionality like Loop and Bookmark/Note function are also super useful.

I really like the clarity with which the instructions are delivered and the way the learning experience is structured. It feels like someone is "holding my hands" as far as learning is concerned. I know I will get better.

after only completing a couple of lessons, I am convinced this program is going to significantly improve my chord voicing options and improv skills. I've worked with different piano teachers both online and in person and Hayden is able to get students to learn both technique and most importantly songs with out getting bogged down in theory. After struggling for decades to learn jazz, here comes piano groove. Thank you.

Hayden is an excellent teacher that will answer any question regarding the reviewed topic in every lesson. There is plenty of content and also support material that will make you understand how Jazz Piano works, moreover the lessons are very informative and challenges you to really get into the jazz world. It is very comforting how the advanced harmonic concepts reviewed throughout the courses make total sense when they are put in practice on the jazz standards lessons. Hayden mention all important concepts and incentivize you to be creative about what you have learnt.

I am happy that I found PianoGroove and that now I see the Piano differently and can apply the jazz concepts to every new song I learn. I can't wait to keep exploring PianoGroove contents!

NOTE: It is worth saying that if you want to get the most out of this courses you should be at least and intermediate piano player with an already developed understanding of basic harmony concepts in my opinion. In that way you will be able to absorb all the contents well.

Hayden is an A-MAZING teacher. It's like he anticipates every question I'll have in advance. His patience and systematic approach are invaluable and I especially appreciate how he spoon-feeds us just enough knowledge at a time so it's all easy to digest. This is no ordinary piano program. I found myself binge-watching some videos and leaving with loads of a-ha moments and new understandings of theory - without even sitting at a piano. Then when I discovered I was also being taught by Jovino Santos Neto - I was in heaven. These teachers - all of them - are top-notch and very generous in their teaching. I'm actually learning! Thank you, PianoGroove, for feeding my mind and soul.
