I like the overall presentation of PianoGroove. I especially like Hayden's teaching style. However, I don't get much from the other guests/instructors. Maybe because I'm a beginner and piano Jazz is new to me. I would definitely recommend Piano Groove to others interested in learning to play Jazz. :)

Pianogroove is an excellent resource if you want to learn jazz piano. The lessons are clear and well structured to suit various levels of ability. There is plenty of advice and additional help available. The downloadable resources are excellent.

I have tried many of the online piano tutorials and lessons and Pianogroove is by far the best. Even if you don’t like Jazz music the theory and methods Hayden and the other experts use is far beyond what the other sites provide. You can tell they enjoy teaching and take the extra time to answer questions and are truly engaged with their subscribers. I have learned so much in the year I have been a user.

This is a fantastic Jazz Piano educational programme- rich in theory and practical application. I have subscribed for 2 years, and still have not completed the course. Regular seminars keep material coming.

Nice progression in the courses, good videos and explanations

The course has given me a better understanding of how chords work in jazz composition. It explains it so that even I could understand it which it has been very difficult for me to understand this material. Thanks.

The tutorials I’ve viewed on the PianoGroove site are top notch…logically structured and packed full of useful information. But the tutorials are only part of the whole experience. There’s also a thriving community and tons of help from Hayden and others to realize goals and aspirations. This is an amazing place.

Learning is made easy with Piano Groove. Certainly, there is no magic bullet, however for a person who is seriously wanting to learn music, Piano Groove has it all. Higly skilled instructors guide you through lesson plans that are thoughtfully layed out for whatever level of learning. I am beginning my third year and feel like I have only scratched the surface. I'm always looking forward to my next lesson. Can't say enough about Piano Groove, simply put, they are the best.

Thorough, structured teaching . Highly recommend this course if you are prepared to put in the work .

The website has excellent video lessons. They are clear, well-organized, and come with good printed materials. I've switched from in-person lessons to Hayden's site as it fits my schedule and has a great mix of theory and technique, not to mention great taste in songs to learn.

If you're new to piano Jazz and want to understand from the basics, Piano groove helped me in the 251 Jazz Chords and Chord progressions. Also the ear training course helped me in finding the keys of the song melody.

Everything in piano jazz is available in Piano groove.

Excellent site for learning jazz piano. There are piano blues and NOLA style lessons, too, including lessons and webinars by Jon Cleary. Highly recommended.

Extremely pleased after one month of use. Very well-organized course syllabi and downloadable materials, concise and clear instructional tutorials, solid pedagogical philosophy that uses practical tune-learning, drills, and ear training. Readily usable tools within the website to optimize the experience on a variety of platforms, very engaging and inspiring instructor, responsive and open to all questions and levels of experience. It seems to me that this website is suitable for a complete beginner jazz student all the way up to advanced musicians.

A week in and so far so good. I really like the fact that you can start at the very beginning with an understanding of music theory, scales etc. I studied classical piano as a teen but have not played for 45 years so it is great to get the foundations rebuilt. Looking forward to progressing.
