Easy process but it should be automated like how you apply credit card

Asra was very helpful although initially I didn’t understand what a community loan - and that this was what I was applying for. She explained this and the process on a call to me.

I was struggling with some money issues. I had been shopping around trying to find a lender for a loan. I was not getting anywhere, refused all the time. Even my bank were unhelpful, as for the most part, you fill in a form and computers crunch numbers, and that's your answer. I could not explain my situation.
Then I got a recommendation to try a Credit Union. I used the finder website to locate a CU, near me. This however, is only the start. There is strict criteria you must meet in order to be able to join a Credit Union, which is firstly about SAVING, but can provide loans and other services. I researched the rules and regulations about membership and found i could join. I then went ahead, completed the membership form and waited. It was the next day when I got a response to provide my identity, address and membership qualifications details. They responded almost immediately to confirm my membership! Excellent, swift service! I was setting up savings payments but was struggling to complete the form. I notified the customer care team, who were extremely helpful and sorted it all out for me. Then I decided, after doing some research on the website, to apply for a loan.
The form was easy to fill in. The response was again swift. I was provided an upload link, and all necessary documentation was easy to upload. I also sent a message to explain my situation.
I am overwhelmed by how quickly and efficiently I was dealt with, and a application approved.
I cant praise this CU enough, I am so happy that they took the time to listen to me, and help sort everything out. I highly recommend becoming a member, and I too will be able to help others in the future, through my membership with them. I am so glad I found them!

Pre-Approved for a loan with these through clear score. Provided everything they asked for. After 3 days, of supplying them with all sorts of info requested, rejected. NOT HAPPY as now I have a hard search on my credit file. Waste of time and damaging to credit score. Stay clear.

i found plane saver when trying to dig myself out of a very big hole i wish i had found it many years ago, the process from start to finish has been amazing very professional, very attentive i have amalgamated all my debts into one easy payment my credit cards and loans have been paid off by this company within a few hours and as a bonus i am saving money with them monthly which builds up whilst im paying back this loan and then i have money at the end . anybody who is battling with debts i would urge to contact this credit union as its the best decision ive made all year and the feeling is incredible that im actually going to start getting my life back and more. cannot thank john and plane saver credit union enough for enabling me to sort all of this out

Highly recommend PlaneSaver. In a world where most banking is done by algorithms, PlaneSaver still values the human element. Initially i recieved a no on my loan application however after explaining my circumstances I was approved. They handled my case with empathy and provided a solution that has quite literally changed my outlook for the coming year. Truly a credit union that supports the military community.

What a great experience, plane saver have taken such a weight off my mind with a consolation loan and even paid my debts straight off for me!
Doyin Arowolo was responsive and answered any questions that I had promptly and efficiently.
I now have one affordable payment that gives me breathing space with my expendable income and I get to save money while I’m paying off the loan, which is a massive bonus!

I’m very disappointed with the way Plane Saver has handled my situation. I reached out to them after a genuine change in my financial circumstances, provided proof of my reduced income, and explained that I’m setting up a Debt Management Plan (DMP) with PayPlan to manage my repayments responsibly.

Despite being open and proactive, I’ve found their communication to be rude, unhelpful, and at times quite threatening. I’ve already had to go through one formal complaint after a member of their financial support team told me they couldn’t help with what they called my “self-induced financial hardship.” That comment was completely inappropriate and incredibly discouraging — especially from a credit union that promotes supporting members in financial difficulty. Sadly, even after that complaint, I’ve continued to experience poor treatment and a lack of empathy. Their responses have made me feel anxious, embarrassed, and unsupported at a time when I’ve done everything possible to communicate honestly and seek help.

I truly expected better from a member-focused organisation. I hope Plane Saver reviews the way they treat customers who are struggling and ensures their staff receive proper training in compassion and financial vulnerability.

Please choose carefully before you commit to any type of credit agreement with such company, all my other creditors have been nothing but supportive
