Found Plane Saver by accident when searching for a loan provider. Seen their website, and after my own due diligence decided to apply. The process is very hands on which makes you feel like you’re really being taken care of and that everything is being handled correctly; it’s a nice mixture of modern-day technology for proving financial information, and amazing old-fashioned customer service where you can talk directly to someone.
The service I received from Nabeela (Financial Solution Officer) was absolutely fantastic, she kept me up to date at every stage, answered many of my questions before I could even ask, then answered the many additional questions I had. All while making the process as easy, and as smooth as possible.
Based on my experience, I couldn’t recommend Plane Saver enough.

Absolutely waste off time
Absolutely waste off time ! So I applied for a loan an a got rejected fair enough , how ever the reason I’m writing this review is because stated applying they kept asking / emailing me for the same information over again ! Why do you want the loan etc , I was asked too fill out additional forms and breake down what I was going too do with the loan ! I thought ok this is abit personal I’ve never had this before so I told them , tune I didn’t hear anything from them for days ! So I contacted them and they said oh it’s showing on your bank information you make regular transfers too another bank in your name ! ( what this had too do with them in regards too my loan is none off there buisness ! ) anyway they asked for three months staments from this account ! I thought well if they gonna give me a loan I’ll do this ! Again didn’t hear anything from them for 48 hours so contacted them for a third time spoke too the rudest representative I’ve over the phone , after the call received an email stating I was declined agate EV handing them handfuls off my personal information and eveidence showing I’ve over 400 transactions too credit card and finance aggrements etc and never missed a payment in the last 10 years !! Stay away the EV just seem a crooked firm out too steal data !! You’ve been warned !

A DECEITFUL AND LYING BUSINESS.
I have received NO INCENTIVE to write this review.
Recently applied for a £8k debt refinance loan to help reduce my interest payments and also save money every month. Was pre-approved and 100% guranteed a loan with Plane Saver Credit Union for £8k. The whole application process took more then one week to complete where I was asked to provide lots of documents. At one point I thought I was going to be asked to also provide a urine sample or blood sample too to prove who I am.
After 8 days of waiting, I then get told more final checks were to be done, after which despite being pre-approved and guaranteed the £8k loan after waiting all day today. I then get sent an email and text to say my loan application has been unsuccessful. I thought Credit Unions were there to help people but this Credit Union is 100% deceitful and corrupt to the core. They now have all my paperwork including financial documents which they can now sell to third parties including scam artists. If you have no intention of lending say it the first opportunity do not lie and string people along and deceive them. Such a deceitful way is no way a fair way to TREAT A CUSTOMER FAIRLY.
PLEASE DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THEIR FAKE REVIEWS. THE TRUTH IS EVERYONE MUST AVOID THIS CREDIT UNION LIKE COVID.
THE FCA MUST WIPE THIS BUSINESS OFF THE FACE OF THE EARTH, 100% DECEIVERS AND NOTHING BUT PURE NASTY SCUMBAGS.
A BUNCH OF PURE EVIL ROBOTS WHO ARE UNWORTHY OF BEING CALLED HUMAN BEINGS. THEIR OFFER OF ME RAISING A COMPLAINT WILL BE DECLINED THEY MUST THIBK IM STUPID OR JUST DUMB DISGUSTING

They held my savings, ignored my instructions, and pursued a CCJ behind my back
I’m extremely disappointed with how Plane Saver Credit Union treated me. I had a loan with them that was being repaid directly from my salary while I was employed. When I left that role in 2021, the repayments stopped, and I contacted them to resolve the situation.
At the time, I had nearly £700 in my savings account with them, and I clearly asked for those funds to either be applied toward the loan or returned to me so I could make the payment myself. They refused both — they wouldn’t use my own money to settle the balance and wouldn’t release it to me either.
Instead of helping, they escalated the situation, sending emails I didn’t see and letters to a previous address — without ever checking if my details were still up to date. I was on the electoral roll at my new address and could have easily been traced. They also had my phone number but never used it to contact me.
Eventually, they issued a County Court Judgment (CCJ) against me without my knowledge. I only found out months later, after serious damage had been done to my credit file. Even when I tried to contact their solicitors later on to settle the balance, I was ignored.
I’ve now filed a complaint with the Financial Ombudsman Service and started a court application to have the CCJ set aside. What Plane Saver did wasn’t just unfair — it was avoidable. They chose process over people and caused unnecessary harm when the solution was right in front of them.

The experience was great start to finish. I made a DC loan app on Monday they asked for more info I sent on Wednesday by 3pm all my creditors were paid.
They were the only company that gave me hope.
