I love my new plant and it was the best packaged plant I’ve ever received! Well done team!

I want to share my awful experience with this online shop after buying a hoya plant from them. The whole thing has been a nightmare and I am incredibly disappointed.

Right from the start, when I got the plant, things looked off. The pot was soaked, dripping wet, which is not good for hoyas. I suspected root damage because of too much water, so I immediately checked it out. Turns out, the roots were seriously rotted.

I contacted the seller right away with photos showing the root rot. But their response was terrible. They said they would've taken the plant back if I hadn't taken it out of the pot. The thing is, when I was trying to check the plant, it literally fell out on its own because of the muddy soil and the rotten roots - there was nothing to hold the plant in the pot.

Even though the leaves looked green, the roots were completely dead. The plant had zero chance of surviving. The photos clearly showed that the damage couldn’t happen in these couple of hours I had it, or during shipping. It’s clear that it was shipped to me already in this terrible condition.

What's more, the company demonstrated a complete lack of responsibility and customer care. They never offered any form of redress or even issued a genuine apology. They said, “I am sorry to hear that you are unhappy with the plant.” They never said, “Sorry for taking your money and sending you absolute rubbish.”

In conclusion, this has been an exasperating and deeply disappointing experience. I strongly caution anyone considering a purchase from this shop to think twice. This is not how a solid company should treat its customers.

AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!

Ask yourself if you would be happy spending almost £30 (incl delivery) on a dead plant.

Lots of great plants to choose from.
I was looking for a particular plant which they stocked and at a good price.

Plants were very well packed.
However placed order on the 2nd jan and didn't recieve any information following when to expect delivery.
Did chase up as website stated posted the Monday after purchase and it was 10 days since order with no delivery. Did get told that would be posted and finally recieved.
Apart from delivery delay, plants were lovely and healthy.

We've been subscribers to Plant Pet club for quite a while now, and have had 4 deliveries so far.
Admittedly the very first delivery felt a little underwhelming, and we deliberated if we would continue. We are glad we did, as we have been delighted with our subsequent deliveries.
Both quality of the plants and pots have been brilliant, and feel like a great addition to our home.
I would just like to see a bit more detail on the care card - I don't feel it's that helpful for complete plant beginners.

The plants were a good price delivered in a few working days. The packaging was good and recyclable, and each plant comes with a clear instruction card for caring for it.

Always a real treat. The packaging is great and although every time I worry about the lag between despatch and the courier getting it to me the plant is always healthy and strong.

Such different plants every time. Always come in lovely pots. Got a banana plant this time

Deeply disappointed in this company.

We have ordered twice previously from Plant Pet Club without any problems. This time, we ordered on Saturday and the following Tuesday we received notification from DPD that the package was on its way. However, the owner of the company emailed me on the next day demanding an additional £5 for delivery, claiming that it is a "surcharge" for delivery to Northern Ireland! The website clearly states that delivery costs are calculated at checkout, and it also states in a banner on the homepage that it offers "Free Delivery on all Plant Subscriptions and Jungle Bundles". Apparently, this is incorrect.

When I challenged the £5 additional surcharge, the owner simply cancelled our order and refunded our money - no discussion, no apology, no nothing. This is not a company I would ever choose to deal with again, and as I have now discovered, there are a great many alternatives which (I now know) offer a far superior service.

Very disappointing experience from this company and I shall not buy from them again.

Delivered within time frame but 1 of all order was incorrect . I ordered Monstera plant but it was sent as Banana leave plant by mistake . I hope next time the shop should check carefully .

The plant pots seemed quite small and low quality for the price of the subscription. The plants themselves were ok, but nothing too spectacular. I have cancelled my subscription after a single delivery.
