Anita and Sharon did a fantastic clean for us following our bathroom being re-done. There’s now not a speck of dust in sight - quite amazing! The carpets have been cleaned to a very high standard and they left some beautiful touches around the house too. Highly recommend!

After seeing a previous review, disgracing and cursing Anita and her platinum cleaners i was completely taken back. I've been using their services for years and they have never failed me. They're always friendly, professional and amazing cleaners who have kept my house spotless and smelling great.

We live in SW6 and paid in advance for Anita to clean the carpets in three small rooms. We persuaded her to also clean the carpet on the landing outside the flat. It was not what we had originally contracted but it seemed fair as (a) the rooms were small and (b) she had arrived two and a half hours late. We would have paid her more if she had asked but she said she’d do it to keep us happy!

At first glance the work was fine and we said so. However, as the carpets were damp we did not walk around to check every corner. In one room there are two areas that are dirtier than they were before she started.

We contacted Anita through email and she replied instantly saying there would be ‘no refund’. We were not asking for a refund. What we wanted was for her to come back and finish the job. What has happened is the machine has cleaned the centre of the carpet and dropped dirt on the edge.

My wife has spoken to her twice on the phone. The first time she said she would contact us the following week, when she was in the area, to come back.

Nothing happened so a week later my wife phoned. She saw my wife’s number and did not take the call. We called again on a number she did not recognise. She took the call and once again she said she would be in touch within a week. A week has gone by and nothing has happened.

The problem seems to be that, using it the way Anita does, the machine does not reach into corners and edges. Nobody wanting a thorough carpet clean should give her the work as Anita simply cannot be trusted to sort out any complaints. Our small patch of carpet is so dirty we are going to have to bring in another firm of professionals.

What is extraordinary about Platinum-Cleaners is that their web site suggests they cover much of England. On Trustpilot there seems to be only two operatives. One is Anita who lives in West London and the other is Gareth who is based around Chester and who attracts nothing but complaints!

Yes, there are people who give Anita five stars but 35% of the Trustpilot reviews are described ‘bad’ and a number of those are about Anita. If Platinum-Cleaners put such a store on Trustpilot it seems amazing they tolerate one third of their customers being dissatisfied.

I will not comment on Anita’s response. She has withdrawn her original one and could change the current one. In any case, as we were reminded recently “recollections may vary”. Judge for yourselves who you believe.

I am repeatedly asked to review goods and services I have bought. I now limit them to the times I have been unexpectedly surprised how good or bad the experience has been. I never expect any negative review to change a bad supplier’s way of working. In this case we knew our review would remove any chances of Anita coming back but, at the same time, we felt it was unlikely ever to have been her intention.

I gain absolutely nothing from posting a negative revue. We are not going to get our money back and now we have to pay to have part of the work done again.

What is more important is to alert anyone planning to give work to Platinum-Cleaners of the risk. I would never give business to any company where over a third of its customers are dissatisfied. They only got our business by mistake. A friend had recommended a different company and we dialled the wrong number.

Anita and her team came to my house today to do a deep clean.
I cannot fault the service, from first conversation to booking and throughout the day they were polite ,friendly , helpful, professional and thorough!
I also had all the carpets cleaned they were very tired but they’ve come up beautifully :)
I can’t recommend them highly enough.

Didn't even get a clean done, I requested the quote was sent to me via email as this was easier for me to deal with around my working hours, and for some reason Anita decided to push back excessively. When I mentioned I'd get a quote elsewhere, I was told "ok, please yourself."

Updating my review, as I have just been sworn at on the phone by Anita after calling her to explain why I would like my quote over email.

I called the main office who have informed me she will be spoken to, but avoid Anita like the plague as she is apparently her own manager and thinks that she can speak to people the way she has just spoken to me.

Disgusting attitude that reflects so poorly on the company.

Your demeanour is vastly different now. I think you seem to forget I have our conversation in writing, wherein you respond "attitude? One has one", amongst other highly sarcastic comments. I also have our conversation recorded, which clearly shows I do not get to string a sentence together before you start raising your voice, swearing, and talking over me, and then proceed to hang up less than a minute later. This has all been sent to the company you work for, too.

But please, continue believing the way you dealt with me was acceptable and in the bounds of professionalism.

Frankly - paid deposit, never get the money back.

I can see owner trying to say he was a franchise - and that’s great. However - did you not make any checks on someone who represents your business? I am sorry but owner is just as guilty as Mr Hughes.

Simple google search brings this article up on how Mr Hughes was jailed for 30 weeks for selling some virtual things he never owned.
It has now been reported to the police. I shall report company as well as clearly all they do is pass responsibility onto someone else and don’t even try to solve the issue.

Rugs have washed up lovely, and they're 10 years old! Would recommend Anita and London team. Fair amount of black cat fur found in the cleaning water, so not easy. So nice to have good service 🐱

The second time I have used Platinum, London. A bit more expensive than the competition, but well worth it. I would definitely recommend Anita and the team.

I have also recieved a full deposit from my landlord and he has taken Anita’s details because of the amazing clean. Anita from the London team team visited my elderly parents home and cleaned the carpets in the bedroom and hallway. They have done an amazing job. We explained that the carpets were heavily stained with urine and told this was not a problem. The carpets now smell and look as good as new. I will definitely be using their services again and would highly recommend them. Thank you so much. 5 stars service.

London team- arrived promptly on time, professional, trustworthy team. They did a great job cleaning up our old camper it now smells great and looks lovely and clean. Would recommend and will use again if we ever need to.

Spectacular experience! The London team explained everything and booked me in straight away they were lovely, and very understanding of my circumstances. I came home and my house smelt like roses it was beautiful, my carpets have never been so clean!! I definitely want to commend Anita and Chris the most, I couldn’t be more thankful for how their machines and hard work have transformed our homes.
