I just purchased a Platinum Spa and…

I just purchased a Platinum Spa and it's beautiful but I had some issues upon delivery. I contacted Platinum and their response has made me want to change my 1 star review to a 5 star review. I've run my own business for 40 years, I know what a bad day is like. It's how you handle those bad days that makes all the difference in the world. Platinum Spas was quick to respond and act. The problems have been quickly resolved and my gorgeous new tub is ready for use. I have to say good job Platinum, it was a bumpy start but you stood by your product and made things right.

Wonderful experience!!!

Anastasia at Valley was EXCEPTIONAL!! She knew everything about every tub and was extremely helpful, kind and courteous. The 3 gentlemen whom did the delivery were wonderful as well. They worked in the scorching heat and were professional and friendly. Highest marks!!

Do not reccomennd

Had the hot tub wired up by electrician on Thursday morning. Filled tub per instructions and started once water was full. Hot tub has been shutting down with two error messages. Contacted local dealer and have yet to receive a call from Service regarding sending someone to correct problem.
I would return this unit if the dealer would take it back.
Paid too much to have problems at start up.
Already regretting this decision.

Worst purchase of my life

I bought this hot tub in December of 2024. The company delivered it on a very cold day and it sat to freeze into a solid block because the 110 plug In is not a standard plug but a special one. Once I was able to thaw it and start it up a week later, I found that it will not maintain the temperature you set it at. It drops about 3 degrees in 20 minutes making it unusable in winter. The warranty has not been expired yet the company said it's not broken that's just how it works at 110. After my $7,000 purchase was final and hot tub already delivered THEN I was informed this hot tub will only maintain temperature when hooked up to 220 electric even though it is sold as 110 or 220. They informed me it is more efficient with 220 but failed to mention the poor function making it unusable in winter conditions. Even now that it is spring the hot tub still will not maintain temperature, dropping a few degrees when the Jets are used. It also states on the paperwork it will take roughly 10 to 15 hours to get up to temp and it took over 72 hours. I have never been so dissatisfied with any purchase in my life. Anytime people use the hot tub it gets dirty and takes 3 or 4 days for the water to clear again. The well known company Pools Plus, will not honor the warranty and has not looked at my hot tub a single time even though I have called them multiple times with these issues.

We’d like to clarify a few important points that may help shed light on your concerns:
• Electrical Setup: The model you purchased is a convertible spa, meaning it can run on either 120V or 220V power. While it is true that it operates on a standard 15A plug (unless upgraded to a 20A by a dealer), at 120V it runs a 2kW heater. This setup limits its ability to maintain temperature when the high-speed jets are in use — especially in cold weather — because the heater cannot run simultaneously with the pump at full speed.
• Temperature Drop: A 2–3 degree drop during extended jet use in winter conditions is expected behaviour for 120V operation. This is why we strongly recommend converting to 220V for consistent performance in colder climates. We sincerely apologise if this was not clearly explained to you before purchase.
• Water Clarity: Regarding your concerns about water clarity, it sounds like the filtration or chemical balancing might need adjusting. We’d be happy to provide support or guidance to help improve water maintenance.

We regret that your experience was not what it should have been.

Central Va Hot Tub and Spa, Robert Revill

Simply outstanding! Robert's servicing of our very old hot tub last year greatly impressed me. So when our old one died, we contacted him about his products.
The entire process was great, from removal of the old tub, to installation of the new one (to include leveling on our sloped patio). I highly recommend Robert and the Platinum Spas.

Operational questions

Buying went well, as I knew which model I wanted. Upon our pick up & our own set up, most questions I had for Salesperson, he always referred me to Josh in Service Dept.
I had great help from Josh, not their salesman.

What a wonderful experience!!

The husband and wife duo that run this business are top-notch and accommodating! They made sure to make us feel right at home and took all the time we needed to explain differences between spas, showing us options, and being extremely flexible when it came to payment and delivery! If you are looking for a hot tub, look no further!

If you are looking for a hot tub, you won't find a better hot tub than Platinum Spas or a better business selling them than The Spa Haus.

After going to 6 spa shops looking at all the different spa brands (Jacuzzi, Wellis, Coast, Cyclone Series, Everest, Artisan, Sundance). Hands down Platinum Spas was the best due to their jet count, jet positions, overall base adds (bluetooth speakers, lights, fountains), durability of the steel frame, and the of course the price.
The hot tub we choose was the Tokyo which has 89 jets, specifically designed for hydro massage, which really gets the knots out of my shoulders with the downward directed jets in the neck rest. My husbands favorite spot is the lounger that hits every muscle from neck to feet, including the hip flexors.
The best part is the jets are interchangable and some can be directed to different angles for better attention to areas in need. If you want an amazing spa buying experience, go to the Spa Haus. Matt was a wealth of knowledge, helpful in all ways and delivery was fast and efficient.
