Mixed opinion

Mixed opinion. Cool tech, fun gadget, but in the end, not very useful. Definitely still some kinks. Not sure how it accounts for substitutions (spending 10-15 min in a game on the sideline). Not clear what it judges to be a sprint. Not evident when it begins tracking (warmup?) or how it knows it's halftime. Heat map usually works, but not always. Focuses on a percentage metric of some sort, but not clear what it's measuring. "League" rankings don't include personal bests.

To answer your questions;

• If you’re playing with rolling subs, the stats will reflect the start of the game to the end time that you specify. A way around this would be to take a note of when you’re off the pitch and work around this in scheduling the first and second halves.

• A sprint is classed as a run that is over 5m/s held for at least 2 seconds.

• The app starts tracking from when it is turned on, but your performance is based on the times you specify. On the app, you determine the kick off and end time of your match, as well as when half time occurs.

• I can confirm that the league stats are based on the average of players rather than personal best.

• If you are having trouble with the heatmap, please get in touch with us at support@playertek.com and we will do all we can to help.

Initial experience is good.

Initial experience is good.
Delivered promptly and presented nicely. The user guide is not completely clear on the meaning of the lights - when searching for satellites the middle green light is also on.
I would like to use the vest under my shirt which means it is fiddly to turn on/off on your own without taking your shirt off.
