We used Alan to perform a Building Survey on a 16th Century cottage. The report he produced was excellent; detailed and clear. Alan provided me with a first class service... he was friendly and responded quickly when we were initially looking to have the survey done; similarly he arranged to do the work in good time. The report is comprehensive and easy to read... overall I was really happy with his service!

From my first enquiry Alan was immediately responsive and took the time to discuss our individual situation before providing the tailored fee quotation. It was clear from the initial conversation that Alan would not just be ticking the boxes but would be conducting an insightful and detailed survey of the property we were looking to buy and this for me was what set him apart from the other surveyors I had contacted.
Our expectations of diligence were proved to be true when we received the written report and Alan took the trouble to discuss it with us over the phone to address our concerns and clarify the finer points.

As a first time solo buyer I was very nervous about the whole process. I hoenstly would highly recommend Alan. He was patient and thorough and able to explain everything to me in none technical speak. Prompt, thorough and efficient service. Alan was very quick to respond to my query and very thorough with getting the survey done and the report sent through. He also took the time to talk me through his findings before he sent the report as I was pushed for time to exchange and complete and I know he will be very accommodating to talk through the report now I have it too. Exceptional Service
Alan was very professional in everything he did, from initial contact to his final report.
We had a few concerns about the property we were buying and he highlighted a number of more serious problems, which we had overlooked.
He explained everything clearly and simply and backed up his report with a number of photographs of areas we were unable to see from the ground.
He not only highlighted the problems, but gave us an indication of the cost involved in rectifying them, which was very helpful.
He was always willing to discuss things after the report and even visited the property again with me to point out the serious issues.
Allan was a very personable young man and I was very pleased with his service.
