Caught them using our purchase as a show home so now they have pulled out because of this reason. Plumlife if it was to with 28 days then why call us in for the snag list. Be aware this will be asked when we contact the Manchester evening news and made public so I suggest someone from Plumlife or cube homes contacts us immediately. The plot is Kerala vale road water mill gardens plot1. If you obviously have been doing this to customers for a while now to keep their reservation fee and make a profit then this will be challenged also.

If I could give Plumlife no stars I would.

If I could give Plumlife no stars I would.
I strongly urge people to research Plumlife before using them.
They take a monthly service charge which includes cleaning of communal areas, window cleaning etc but these services rarely take place and Plumlife ignore any requests for dates cleaning/windows have supposed to have been carried out, therefore they are receiving money for nothing.
When you send an email to them they do not respond
When you try to contact the scheme manager you are told they will ring you back but never do.
They send random requests for money on top of your service charge for "unexpected costs".
Why they are allowed to get away with this is beyond belief.
They have a Facebook page but will not respond to requests or comments.
Please, please, please do not use Plumlife until you have spoken to owners on their schemes - at which I guarantee you will not find a happy one, or until you have read reviews on sites about them. Read their Facebook page which is full of comments from unhappy people.
The Company is an absolute disgrace

Absolutely disgraceful

Absolutely disgraceful. Charge very excessive service 'maintainance' monthly fee for flats and all they do is once a month hoovering of communal areas, never do outdoor repairs despite a dozen phone calls, hardly ever answer any calls. I have recently had to sell late mother's property at a greatly reduced price because so many potential buyers put off by excessive service charge, they have no shame. High charge for crap minimal service, disrespectful attitude. They need reporting to the ombudsman.

Absolutely atrocious service

Absolutely atrocious service, We paying for a service that no one on this dump of estate have seen. The lady just said that everyone wants to clean their own shared drives which is an absolute lie as I share wattsap with a load of people on the estate and no one has said that! She said it would push the price up if they were to come and de-weed the shared driveways. If you refuse to pay the service charge your mortgage company won’t let you renew without the balance you owe being paid, it’s an absolute joke and they are breaking their contract of not doing any work what’s so ever on this estate but I expect they will have the cheek to try and put their charges up in April. These estate managements are am the biggest con going and if I had known the pit falls and the cons of these companies, I would keep away. Who wants to buy a house with a service charge when the area is over grown and filthy.
They only got the one star as it wouldn’t let me comment until I had given a star rating. They don’t deserve any stars at all😡

Cowboys from sales to ongoing support.L…

Cowboys from sales to ongoing support.L and resales.

I was looking for a property and couldn’t afford to get on the market fully, I was pointed in the direction of Plumlife..... I looked at the new build and it was in a nice area and looked nice. There was a fair few defects noticed on the property. I was rest assured by the sales man that this would all be ‘sorted’ and ‘not a problem’ before I moved in. Just need your deposit kept on coming up repeatedly. So further into the property I asked questions about work I could do to the property and was told ‘yeah, absolutely, get it done’ ‘it would look nice’ etc etc as long as I didn’t go knocking down walls but even then it wasn’t really dismissed. The conversation said that Plumlife would even contribute or pay for somethings if I sold it. I asked about resales and was told it was a ‘doddle’ and as simple as letting Plumlife know and getting the estate agent around to value the place and it’s on the market and gone.....

Well I walked away at this point to have sometime to think and this was met with call after call from different agents as the main site salesman was no off ill. I felt forced but didn’t want to miss out on the house and put the reservation fee down. Then it was militant calls from Plumlife with you must get this complete, you must get this complete. This was stressful in itself.

I was bombarded and finally on the completion date I was taken through the fastest handover on earth a phone call on his mobile to say that the money had gone through then boom he was out of the door. Wasn’t until he left I noticed that I didn’t even have the right handover pack.

None of the jobs had been done and there was no record of them being reported, shock horror. Tried speaking to Plumlife constantly dismissed, ending up going through greater places which oversee them and that was a barrel of laughs until I spoke to the manager and he came out and oversaw some of the jobs needing completion.

But he’s where it hurt the most, I have spent thousands on doing the property up to a high standard, to find out that when it comes to selling it is nowhere near as described and that Plumlife won’t pay for work completed to increase the value. I need to get a surveyor in and submit to Plumlife so that they can agree the selling figure. As long as they get there hands on a another victim.

Wasted 2 years of my life stuck in a home where I can to get out cause of these selfish money centric companies don’t care about the people trying to start life.

Zero stars.

Zero stars.
Plumlife are not interested in customer service. Half an hour to get a call taken. No response on callback in 3 hours. Called to follow up and put through to an answer machine. Needless to say no response to the message left.
Dreadful, lazy, uninterested staff.

Plum Life are easily the worst building…

Plum Life are easily the worst building managers I’ve ever had. They do not have the skills for the job of managing and maintaining a large II* listed brutalist building that is Park Hill. Instead they facilitate it’s decline by engaging the crappiest contractors they can find, not supervising or ensuring work is done to a satisfactory standard, and ignore resident queries and complaints. I’m not talking minor items here, I’m referring to, for instance, insisting on using: a heating contractor who have no training whatsoever in the management of our buildings District Heating System; a ‘gardening’ firm who have systematically killed off much of our lovely landscape-architect-designed gardens; a lift firm who left our main lift not working for 8 out of 12 months in 2019; electricians who seemingly cannot change light globes leaving large sections of the estate in the dark; waste contractors who don’t provide enough bins for our needs, window cleaners who randomly miss windows they are meant to clean etc.
Do not believe a thing on Plum Life’s website. They are not a professional building management company instead their service is completely amateurish. Avoid them at all costs.
