I needed a flat fast so I could start work in Manchester. The Plumlife team got me moved in within days into the Chips building. Melanie and Edward were very helpful! Rent to buy scheme is something that should be done more to get young people on the property ladder.

Terrible company issues ongoing the only person I would give 10 out of 10 is Orville Bruce he is the only one who has responded to my enquiries in an efficient manner thanks Orville

My experience of moving into my new home in Lytham with Plumlife was a very positive one.
Laura from the Manchester office was always very helpful and worked very hard on my behalf to get me into my new house.
I would recommend anyone to use Plumlife and my experience was a good one from start to finish

I am really happy I got my shared ownership home through Plumlife. From start to finish I cannot fault them and Kelly was amazing throughout. I had no idea what I was doing and she talked me through the whole process. She kept me informed about what was going on and if I had any questions she always responded quickly and would go out of her way to resolve any issues. When I moved in she had a bag of goodies to welcome me into my new home and I felt she was as truly excited for me as I was. I love my new home and I cannot thank Kelly and Plumlife enough. I would definitely recommend them.

Hi I am currently remortgaging my shared equity property! As I’m on a interest only mortgage at 7% interest! So want to go onto a affordable repayment mortgage at 3.5 %
Yvonne Unwin has been very helpful to me nothing is too much trouble. She has provided me with excellent customer service. She has gone well above and beyond the extra mile. She got me permission from homes England for me to remortgage for another 24 years. As I’m paranoid schizophrenic on a community treatment order because of my disability I was in hospural most months of the year so couldn’t work. So could only afford interest only mortgage. So yvonne understood my situation and asked homes England if they would approve me staying in my house. They said yes! so I’m very happy I can stay in my house. Yvonne’s help has changed my life I thought I’d have to move into a rented flat so because of Yvonne’s kindness I can stay in my house for another 24 years!
Thank you for everything yvonne and plum life you’ve been very kind to me and I do appreciate all your help! I feel very lucky
Best wishes
Zoe smith

Nothing but good things to say about Plumlife Homes. They were are landlord for 7 years and we were just left to get on with it which was great! If an issue ever did arise then it was sorted speedily and professionally. Even the Staircasing process was made very silmple by Fran, providing us with all the information and contacts we needed! Very happy customer.

This set of clowns shouldn't be operating and taking money off people for a shocking serive which they cliam to offer , can not get in phone contact with them or even have a reply to a complaint, which they say one day and a clown will contact you , please people, don't buy a house with anything to do with this lot , you are wasting your money because the lease which you both sign up is nothing but toilet paper , had to give one star cause it wouldn't let me continue, theses clowns need shouting down

Reply from Plumlife Homes
One star because that is the least you can rate..absolutely shambolic, diabolical, ignorant, arrogant and pathetic service (I could write more) but what's the point- this is on their website: "Plumlife is proud to be a profit-for-purpose organisation"- what does that even mean!- isn't every organisation profit for purpose??..anyway, if you can avoid- avoid..they are very, very unhelpful and an embarrassment to the Housing sector

Reply from Plumlife Homes
Only given one star as there is no option to leave zero. Diabolical. The worst experience of renting I’ve ever had. From a renter’s point of view, it’s a real shame that you can’t choose who manages the property that you rent. After I signed for the property, there was little to no communication from plumlife- not any of their employees. Emails never got responded to and they indefinitely delayed the moving day with no real reason and no communication. Indefinitely uncontactable– they don’t respond to emails, never answer the phone, this company could not care less about it customers in any way shape or form. If there is a problem with your property – they do not want to know about it, and will avoid you like the plague. If you want an easy life, don’t choose to manage or rent a property through plum life.

Management company for my building (aka 'Great Places' which is basically the same company) for years.
Similar to previous posts. Terrible customer service. Consistently incompetent. Mis-calculated Service Charge bills and multiple calls/emails over several weeks to sort out even the simplest billing issue.
Recently moved out and was due a refund for a partial months service charge. Phoned them twice to tell them exactly when I was moving (in advance and after the move to confirm). Three weeks later still no refund AND they've also just taken today another months service charge from me but direct debit and I don't even live there anymore. Unbelievable! When I phoned them they haven't got a clue what's going on. It will probably take me weeks to get this back now. Not the first time something like this has happened. Their accounts department couldn't organise a p*ss up in a brewery.
Think carefully about renting or buying a place run by this lot, as you won't have a choice but to deal with them.

I'll keep it simple: would love to go to another management company!!!!!!!

I submitted the requested forms in January to allow me to sell my flat. I am still awaiting approval in March. When I phone up it is a young lad in training and I can't speak to anyone who can help as nobody answers the phone when he puts me through. The live chat on the website is a waste of time. Waiting to be connected to a member of the team for about half an hour then it times out. Does anybody actually work there!?!?!? Useless

Total rip-off and terrible service to its customers. They take rent and charge monthly maintenance but deliver nothing for the money they charge. Our fees go up and up and the garden maintenance is never done but we pay thousands of pounds a year. Total con stay away from Plumlife!! The worst decision I ever made.

Reply from Plumlife Homes
Not the best experience, they require you to sell your house and show them paperwork, in order to reserve a plot, so in the end you could be without a house or a plot if not available!!!
Can't seem to work this ruling out, may be this is a gap which needs to be looked at and re-addressred, the houses are nice but if the local people who have been living there for all there lives, are unable to get a hands on these...Will need to speak to local council about these schemes!!!
1 star is too much. Plumlife are so bad, no communication, can't speak to anyone , don't get back to you. If you raise a complaint they don't respond.
Staircasing shared ownership - don't be fooled by this.
Truly the worst company to deal with.
