Positive

they were right on time for their appointment. The engineer was efficient and tidy, he explained step by step how he was going to installed the pod. He did not demonstrate how to use the charger though. That could have been helpful. Now I have to find out how I can disconnect the cable from the pod myself.

Jim was very helpful and friendly

Jim was very helpful and friendly. He explained everything about the installation to me before starting and double checked where I wanted the PodPoint charger to be installed. He talked me through all stages of what to expect. Once Jim was finished he showed me the work he had done and it is so much better than I ever expected. Thank you

Aside from Dawid being very helpful…

Aside from Dawid being very helpful along the way, the issues and then ridiculous solutions were absolutely unacceptable

Over 10 weeks and 3 installations later I got my Podpoint with a gent who was on his second ever installation that took over 6 hours to complete

Start to finish the support, communication and lack of booking was beyond ridiculous

If it wasn’t through my company would never have opted for pod point

Would NOT recommend

This was a fantastic experience for me

This was a fantastic experience for me, and heres why:

Two other companies were recommended to me, and no sooner had i clicked on their websites, i was jumped on, phone ringing blah blah… an instant turn off, bye bye competitors

I had seen podpoint around various homes, followed the links, and committed. Turn around time was 1-2 weeks (much sooner than others)
Great communication, no pressure, kept informed throughout, had it installed in a week, all explained by a lovely electrical installer, only took a couple hrs… was just perfect. Thank you podpoint

Eric, he listened, was responsive, walked me through resolving my (wifi connection Issue) including giving me advise on speaking to my ISP.

Mixed experience with instal

The install was rescheduled to the PM after we had been told the times/dates. The installer was late. The Pod didn't work after he left. It was installed very neatly however.

Installation was great, booking process not

Installation was great, which is why I give 4 stars. The installer took time to show me everything on the app and made sure my car was charging.
The process before I would give 2 stars.
The booking of the installation did not go as well. After doing the installation survey, I received an email saying they will respond with an installation date in 5 working days. When i heard nothing after about 8 working days I contacted suppprt via email. Only received an automated response. Long story short I emailed and called several times over a weeks time. I got my installation a month after I completed my survey. Due to this delay I had my EV more than a week before I got my charger, which wouldn’t have been the case if my case manager did their job properly. I had to spend a lot of money on public charging which was avoidable. I do hope that the booking process can be made more efficient.
