Outstanding customer support
I rang without great hopes of finding out why my pod point wasn't charging but hoped they'd put me in the right direction. Better than that the agent I spoke to managed to alter the configuration while we were on the phone and my pod point now charges my new car. Further than that he altered the account over to my name from my late wife's name. A very pleasant experience all round if only all customer service was like this, patient, friendly, knowledgeable and produced a positive outcome beyond what I was hoping for. Star rating is misleading. Customer service is diabolical
Awful customer service. Will not recommend as a supplier. Case Number: 03039085.
Day 8 since reporting the fault which is an exact match for the fault I had previously and it’s only 2.5 years since install. They only decided today that a technical fault means a technical team need to be involved, so now they need pictures of everything from fuses, cables and the charger including all labels. As they installed it and previously repaired it you’d expect they’d have all of the relevant part and serial numbers in their system, but apparently not!
The only definitive statement to date is to advise it’s out of warranty so they’ll be charging for the engineer. Ignoring its costing me 3x as much to charge externally as it does at home, plus the inconvenience sitting in car parks while it charges. Now it’s a bank holiday so it’ll be another 7-10 days before I have any hope of resolution.
The two stars reflects that when it’s working it does the job it was purchased to do. The Help Centre and Customer Service only deserve one star or even zero.
Honestly rarely regretted going with a supplier as much as I do with this company! The high star rating here can only be from people who are fortunate enough not to have to deal with an issue. If you are in a cooling off period I’d suggest cancelling and going elsewhere.

Solar added and podpoint started cutting out
We’ve had the pod point for years and have been very happy with it. We had solar and batteries installed yesterday and the charger started cutting out when in use. I called their support and they changed the settings to accommodate solar and it’s working again. Great service and did it while I was on the phone.

He gave me some advice and best way of doing things. He placed the pod exactly where I wanted it.
Would recommend - great service
Very pleasant and knowledgeable lady who was able to help me with my problems with the PodPoint App and charging. Was quite happy to try a number of solutions until problem was solved.

Follow up to new Router configuration
Eric remembered the difficulty in establishing a reliable strong internet connection which we had experienced when we set the New Router up on 16th April.
With our experience during the last couple of weeks, we now needed to relocate the Router and the Booster in the best positions to improve the strength of the wi-fi to the Router, outside the house, while at the same time keeping a good signal for the other 7 devices inside the home.
Eric provided me with the stats from my system to show how the wi-fi had been failing, and talked me through the options.
The problem is now resolved and all devices are on test in good working order. thanks the the patience and determination of Eric, in customer support.

AWFUL customer service
Had the pod point installed 2023, had a electrician out to the address this week who said it has been dangerously fitted and not fused correctly and would cause injury due to wiring, have contacted podpoint on numerous occasions the last week and still have no resolution or visit arranged to the property!! Awful awful customer service would not recommend would suggest to pick another company when choosing your EV charger

Extremely Poor Service
Unfortunately, this was not a good experience at all.
I waited three weeks for my charging pod to be installed. I was originally given a morning slot at 10:30, with arrival any time between 8am–1pm, all confirmed via email. 2 days before the appointment, I received an email reminder. My slot had changed to 1:30pm, with arrival between 12:30–4pm, no explanation or apology. The engineer eventually arrived at 5pm, there was no communication or notification that they were running late.
I had taken a full day off work and waited in all day, only for the charging pod to be installed and not work. As it was after 5pm, no one was available to arrange a follow‑up appointment. I was told someone would call me the next morning—this never happened.
After three days, I finally managed to contact someone, who asked for my availability to repair the faulty pod. I explained that my vehicle was arriving three days later and was reassured the pod would be fixed in time. In reality, I had to wait 18 days for the repair, and as a result, my vehicle delivery had to be cancelled.
Once again, a new time slot was booked for 1:30pm with between 12:30–4pm, and once again the engineer arrived at 5pm, with no communication to say they were running late.
This is terrible service from a company that clearly does not have the capacity or resilience to deliver the level of service expected. I would not recommend them based on my experience

I am really pleased with my Pod Point 3s installation. Everything from the purchase through planning to the installation all went smoothly. Haydn the engineer arrived on time, discussed all the requirements and set my expectations around timings. He was pleasure to deal with. The resulting installation is neat and tidy and looks very professional. In the handover he covered all information I needed to know. All in all an excellent service experience.
